Last weekend, I tried to bake bread, Mamo instructed me what to do. It turned out well nde naman mukhang minurder. Mas ok sya kaysa last attempt ko lols The parsley in the garden is endless. We gave away some of them already. I cut them into small pieces and stored them in the freezer so we can use them in the winter. Oh man, they smell soo good. Happy Friday everyone. How was your day? When we had a long walk the other day, we discovered a quince tree. Oh man, we were so lucky hehe. I think this is our favorite tea so far :) the best ever! It was snowing yesterday ( 2 C ) wet snow, so it didn't last long and melted right away. I think it was too early for our winter coats and shoes lols . Mamo's vegetables are almost gone. She harvested the last courgette today. We still have leaks and some herbs left. It was a quiet weekend, we worked at home, had a nice walk in the forest and then went to the park this afternoon. We sat and chatted in Rimbie's favorite cafe, had a piece of cake and hot drinks. Mamo prepared some "mekitsi" for us. These are like pancakes but a thicker version. Nakakabusog sya masyado lols. It also reminds me of "Churros" (Spanish snacks ) Meketsi were perfect combination with our homemade plum jam and quince tea. Sharing another blessings, maybe 5 kilos of sweet apples.
