Not one friend that I know of gets to enjoy the kind of personal life that I do. Some of them are jealous that I have my own room and my parents aren't much intrusive of my personal space or professional. Who but my parents would let me blow off a seven figure salary because I don't like the field? To get the kind of privacy I get from my Indian parents is a luxury, and completely unheard of amongst my friends. My boyfriend is madly in love with me, and we're enjoying our honeymoon phase, though understands that I need my time alone. He won't bother me every other hour, he has a life too. But somehow I feel suffocated, which is so contradictory to the immecable order of comfort provided to me by my acquaintance in life. I will not blame my discontent on my career life, or lack thereof. You see, I always thought clearing one of the most difficult exams of my life, and getting a prestigious degree would somehow make me happy instantly. I know how this works for me. Me getting a job of my preference will not give me the content I seek. I might lack gratification.

Pta kya, hum aik dam se badi badi khushioun pei khush nhi ho skte, badi badi blessings k leye achanak se grateful ni ho skte, bare bare moments ko aik dum se enjoy krna shuru ni kr skte. Ye seekhna prta hei, kese? Is k leye choti choti khushion pe khush hona prta he, chote chote moments ko enjoy krna prta he. Dheere dheere jab adat ho jaye gi na bina kisi baat pe khush hone ki, bina kisi blessing k grateful hone ki tab jaa k bnde ki zindagi me sakoon/peace ata hei . Dheere dheere ata hei achanak se ni aa skta, ab se shuru kro ap to shayd 20,25 din me aa jaye😅 but eventually aa jaye ga.
