@Stea more from that month

So today for lunch I had Romaine lettuce, boiled beetroot and Kadhi. Kadhi makes me happy from inside:) If you don't know what Kadhi is, too bad I posted about it in my old account. It's like an elevated or glorified Tomato soup. It was a favorite dish of our once Prime Minister. Maybe I should atleast put the recipe no? In a pan, put 2-3 spoons of oil, few curry leaves, a spoonful of cumin seeds, half a spoon of mustard seeds, and very little fenugreek seeds. You have to be very careful with fenugreek seeds, it can make everything bitter. I avoid putting it, but Mum adds it. After everything fries up, add a spoon of gram flour and cook it well. After gram flour cooks, add tomato puree. (Here's how you make the tomato puree- Two tomatoes, few julienne ginger, and two green chillies. Grind them together into a paste.) Keep it on a high flame for 5-6 minutes and add water, add salt to taste. (Now this part is my father's mother's recipe, add 100 grams of chopped cauliflower and a handful of green peas) Let it boil for sometime, depending on the thickness you like or until when the cauliflower cooks up. Finally garnish with cilantro leaves. You can eat it with rice. (Tip- gram flour helps with thickness, but it burns easily, so you'll have to be a little careful) (This is an old picture that I had uploaded in my old account)
