I think it is very important not to be impatient. In practice, you say that but it cannot be emphasised enough. Never frown at what seems as little, add a little and a little and a little, and it will soon be quite much. Allow it to take time, let it drop in, but try to develop many different streams. And, as you also say, be consistent and keep the self-discipline. These are advices for life in general, not only crypto.

Yes, there is more to that than meets the eye. People who say they will try something, already have doubts in their mind and will probably give up at the first obstacle. That's a mind-set programmed for failure. People who say they will do something, might indeed fail, but they won't give up so easily; persistence is a part of their mind-set.
