The best treatise I've read on parenting.
THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST TREATISE I'VE READ ON PARENTING.
Last week, I saw something that gave me pause.
I suppose to write about it, but I didn’t.
I was not in the mood to spar with this generation of young parents who believe in doing (and saying) whatever they please. Who treat their children like inconvenient by-products of their physical pleasure.
And there lies my shame.
I allowed my belief that there was no point to my submission and my distaste for virtual sparring colour my judgment.
I am not a person who is given to losing sleep over negative comments. I usually ignore them.
But I am passionate about children and family life. So I would not have been able to just walk by. And I had tons to do. No time to argue on social media. So I left off posting.
The heart of the matter was parenting.
I have had these discussions with many people. Parents, parents -in-waiting, parents by association and proximity, and those with no interest in being parents at all.
There seems to be a prevalent opinion that children should be allowed to grow like weeds. Unfettered, untrimmed, without boundaries and without discipline.
What a huge, demon-inspired, destiny-stealing joke.
Mighty in its ridiculousness, and flat in its humor.
There is no mirth here.
One lady once said to my sister and I with her small frame extended in pride, that she is not like us and does not “terrorize” her children. She said this because we tell ours to pick up after themselves, make their own breakfast, clean, be polite, and comport themselves properly. We also don’t always say yes to every request and teach them the value of work and money. We don’t encourage losing control, and teach them that elders are to be respected.
We didn’t even smack them in her presence, so I am left to wonder where ‘terror’ came into the conversation.
A day or so after that conversation, her children were so rude to a mutual acquaintance that the adult cried.
They found her tears funny.
Hmm.
Just Days after that incident, she was held to ransom by one of them over something they wanted.
I was flabbergasted. And offended.
But it didn’t matter. Because she was neither.
Another time, a woman brought her children to my house. One of them wrote on my wall while I was in the kitchen getting a meal ready for them. I came out to meet her mother happily watching as she did so. I calmly told her mother to stop her and the mother insisted that all children that age write on walls. And that they also misplace decorations, break items and jump on furniture.
No ma’am, they do not.
They will try it, but you stop them from doing it. Especially in someone else’s home. And it won’t even require smacking to do so.
I told her off summarily. If your children run around like penless sheep, keep them in your home petting zoo.
Should I tell of the ones who have stolen from my home? Or those who have been rude to my domestic staff? Or the ones who have used profanity in front of younger children?
What would you think if I told you about a child who traumatized a man on a plane because she wanted something he was saying no to, and she threatened to tell her mother (who had gone to the bathroom) that he had touched her inappropriately if he didn’t give her what she wanted? He had not laid a finger on her. The man was so affronted that this little child was threatening him that he stuck to his guns and didn’t give her what she was asking for.
When her mother returned to her seat, she indeed lied that the man had touched her. Thankfully, several passengers had heard her threat and witnessed the whole exchange. Can you imagine the damage she could have caused had they been alone? Who taught her such evil?
I saw a little girl smash through something that had been painstakingly constructed. She did it on purpose and with malice, cackling like a fiend after she was done. I was appalled. And terrified as to her future. She is already so mean! Her parents chalk it up to ‘childish pranks’ and being ‘little’.
I have seen children throw themselves on the floor in shops, offices, schools and everywhere, demanding some bauble or snack. I have also watched their parents try to ‘talk them down’ or worse, give into their tantrums.
Parents encourage envy in their children, rewarding their entitled outbursts with the things their friends or classmates have and that they insist on getting. They have no value for contentment or self control.
Some speak about others so disdainfully that they lead their children to look down on other people simply because they are blessed with more materially.
I flew on a plane with a very wise woman. Her son kicked our seats a few times. Even after she had warned him to stop. She got up and smacked him. She was from the United States and knowing how unpopular the practice is there, I turned to her and quietly asked why she had smacked him instead of reasoning with him.
Her answer will stay with me forever.
She said, “because the justice system will not reason with him. If he does not learn to obey and behave himself, It will incarcerate him. Or kill him.”
And this is the reality.
Quite a few times recently, I have seen parents protect their children from natural consequences of the foolishness that the Scriptures say is locked up in the heart of a child.
They refuse to discipline, balk at withdrawal of privileges and go into fits at the thought of smacking.
2021 parents.
Hogwash.
The world will not withhold consequences. So in doing so, a parent sets their child up for failure. And for being disliked as well.
A child cannot pick his consequences. Or the timing of the same.
Life, quite simply, doesn’t work that way.
People are breeding entitled, noxious, odious, insufferable, horrible people. People that are hard to be around. Awful future colleagues, neighbours, spouses, and bosses.
Nobody wakes up at 30 perfect, just knowing what to do. The process of growing up can’t be skipped. Even Jesus didn’t start life as an adult.
We are stewards of the next generations. Stewards of our nations’ futures, stewards of the world. Isn’t it sad what has gone wrong on our watch? Are we to watch things unravel further? No child is smart enough to parent himself. No matter how outstanding they may be.
Which brings me to those parents who let their children get away with murder, (and no, this is not about Dowen College… I don’t even know how to process that),simply because they are doing well in school, or talented in some area or another. Or, horror of horrors, because their child is popular, whereas they were ‘geeks’ in their time.
Walk with me some more as I talk about the mother who lectured me about not allowing having children “change my life”.
Seriously?
If you don’t want children to change your life, I recommend not having them.
It is unrealistic, selfish and downright unintelligent to think you can live life exactly as you did before you had children. And if you are able to achieve it, I humbly submit that you might be somewhat sociopathic. Perhaps get that checked?
You had/have a choice. Don’t have children if you don’t want the work they come with.They are not dolls to dress up or toys that can be put on a shelf after you’re done playing. Or if you get tired.
Yes, self care is important, but part of that is bringing your children up so that their behaviour doesn’t come back to bite you.
And no, self care is not more important than parenting. The children didn’t ask to be born. This culture of ‘self’ is so destructive. Creating fractured people everywhere. ‘I… I… I. ‘
Disgusting.
Many people pontificating about recent happenings have children that make Charles Manson look like a Barbie doll.
We must examine ourselves.
There is no perfect child, and certainly, none of us is a perfect parent.
But that doesn’t mean we should throw our hands up and let things go awry.
We have a job - a calling even. And it is hard work. Back breaking, time consuming, pray until- they're- grown, then- pray -some -more kind of work.
Parenting has no escape clause. No blame- shifting caveat.
The time is here, and now is, when we must P.A.R.E.N.T. Intentionally, reverently, consciously, with our eyes on the ball, our ears tuned to God’s voice, our hearts inclined to His leading, and our souls bowed at the foot of the cross.

This life
Hi good morning everyone, hope we are all fine. I want to share this little story this morning.....................
One day, a man decided to travel by ship with his friends. While in the middle of their journey, the boat began to sink. Everyone tried to escape by swimming but it was all in vain. All drowned except this man who succeeded in clinging to a floating object. With the effect of strong winds, the object took him very far, to a small island where there were no men or animals, just a few insects. With the sweat of his brow, he managed to build a small box entirely made of straw. He stayed there for several days eating fruits and began to get used to his new life of suffering (even if we do not get used to it). He eventually began to lose all hope of seeing his family again any day.
Every night he lit a fire in front of his house to warm himself. One evening, as usual, he lit the fire. He stayed there for a long time until he dozed off. Late in the night, he was awakened by an overwhelming heat: It was his straw hut that caught fire. He cried, accusing and blaming God, shouting, "Oh God, what have I done to you to hurt me so? You separated me from my family to bring me to this deserted island, then you killed all my friends and now you let my hut burn. Why are you so hard on me? It is better to die because I am tired of living in this suffering!"
But at dawn, he saw a small boat coming towards him. When the boat landed, he ran straight for the captain and said to him in astonishment, "Captain, how did you get here?" No boat can get there unless he gets lost. " The captain replied, "In the night we saw a fire and we thought it was a burning boat, and we did not arrive immediately because the journey was long. We thought that you used the fire in order for us to find you. "The man cried, fell on his knees and asked God for forgiveness, and he got into the boat and went home and reunited with his family.
LESSON: God has many ways of solving our problems. You can lose a job and think that God has left you when He wants to give you a better job. Your friends can leave you, do not believe that the LORD has rejected you, He wants to keep you away from bad companies. Do not curse your God even if you suffer, keep faith and hope, He will act.

Words frequently used in Nigeria not found in the dictionary.
*WORDS FREQUENTLY USED IN NIGERIA NOT FOUND IN THE DICTIONARY* today are
1. *Installmentally:*
This “word” is a favourite of many Nigerians, but, sadly, it simply does not exist. You won’t find it any reputable dictionary. The correct thing to say when “installmentally” comes to your mind is in _"instalments"_ or _"by instalments"_.
*2. Plumpy:*
Nigerians use _“plumpy”_ when they want to say that someone is chubby or slightly fat. The correct expression is _plump_.
3. *Disvirgin:*
This particular “word” is used severally on a daily basis, especially by Nigerian men when they intend saying that a woman has lost her virginity to a guy. The correct word to use, however, is _"deflower"_, because “disvirgin” is not a word.
4. *Crosscarpeting:*
This is a favourite of Nigerian politicians and political analysts alike. They use it when they want to say that a politician has dumped his political party for another party, usually a rival party. The right terms to use when describing this scenario are _"party switching"_, _"defection"_ and _"crossing the floor"_ and not “cross-carpeting” or “crosscarpeting.”
5. *Go-Slow 😗
The word go-slow exists, but not in the way Nigerians use it. A “go-slow,” in the peculiarly Nigerian context, is a situation in which road traffic is very sluggish due to vehicle queues. However, go-slow in the English language actually means _"an industrial tactic used by employees whereby they intentionally reduce activity, productivity and efficiency in order to press home some demands"_. When this happens, you say that work in the office, factory or organization is at a go-slow. The correct terms to use when road traffic is very sluggish due to vehicle queues are _"traffic jam"_, _"traffic congestion"_, _"gridlock"_, and (less technically) _"hold-up"_, not “go-slow.”
6. *Cunny:*
“Cunny” is not found in authoritative dictionaries, but it can be found in some slang dictionaries. Over there, it is a slang used to refer to a woman’s private part. The correct term to use is _"cunning"_ (which is used to describe someone that is being deceitful or crafty) and not “cunny.”
7. *Opportuned:*
There is nothing like “opportuned” anywhere in the English language, but that has not stopped its blatant use by all and sundry in Nigeria, including journalists and writers. The correct word is _"opportune"_. The word opportune is an adjective; therefore it has no past tense. An adjective has no past tense. However, some verbs can function as adjectives or adverbs in a sentence. These verbs are called participles and they do have past tenses. They are not pure adjectives. Examples of participles are fattened, amused, disgusted, mystified, overwhelmed, upset and bored. Be that as it may, opportune is a pure adjective and not a participle, therefore it has no past tense. Opportune means appropriate or well-timed.
8. *Alright:*
“Alright” is a misspelling of the term _"all right"_. All right is used when you want to say that something is adequate, acceptable, agreeable or suitable. To hardcore English language linguists, “alright” is not a word. However, its usage is gaining traction and it’s increasingly becoming acceptable. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary – which is considered the gold standard among American English speakers – has recently drawn a lot of criticisms for its permissiveness when it began indexing some otherwise colloquial and street language terms, including “alright.” Most linguists disagree with the gradual acceptance of “alright” as a word by the public and even the media, while those in the minority are “alright” with it. 😁
9. *Wake-Keeping:*
“Wake-keeping” exists only in the imagination of a few English speakers. As a matter of fact, there is no such thing as “wake-keeping.” The correct word is _"wake"_ and not even “wake-keep.” Both “wake-keeping” and “wake-keep” are ungrammatical.
10. *Screentouch:*
This bad grammatical expression gained currency in Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries with the influx of made-in-China stylus pen touchscreen not-so-smart phones in the mid 2000s. It was a novelty then; many in Nigeria had not seen it – or even thought such advanced technology was possible – before. So, they looked for a name to call it and “screentouch” came to mind, after all you just touch the screen and it starts working. In case you’ve still not figured it out yet, the correct thing to say is _"touchscreen"_ and not screentouch.
11. *Trafficator*
There is no word like this. Nigerians use it when driving and want to alert other road users that the driver wants to turn to either left or right. The correct term is _"indicator"_ as a sign to indicate that the driver is either turning right or left.

How my Sunday went, new week of blessings.
I thank God for the media operators in my church, I wouldn't be able to get some pictures about the church. These images were posted in the WhatsApp group of my church and I was really happy I would have something to talk about.
The name of my church is st Joseph's Anglican church Obiofia nnewichi nnewi and I am thrilled with the services hold in my own church here in Anambra state. I woke up as usual observed my routine and read my morning devotion. I took my bath and off to church. Though today is our girls guild Sunday but I couldn't participate with them because of my mom sickness. We r having two services every Sunday English and Igbo service our English service starts by 6:00am and end by 9:00am den Igbo service start by 9:00am and end by 11:30am. I entered the church by 5:56 am few minutes later the service started and everyone stood up for processional hymn, after that a brief prayer was made by the service conductor and Bible lesson was read and praises and worship was led by the band beaters before we go into intercessory prayers. After the prayers we started our Sunday Bible study with the topic......
Be contented with what you have(Hebrews 13:5-6)
Contentment means to be satisfied or pleased. Be contented means feeling or showing satisfaction with one's possessions, status, or situation a contented smile they lived a contented life.
Why should we want to be contented?
The first and most important reason is because God commands it: let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things you have for he hath said I will never leave nor forsake thee, so that we may bodly say, The Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me(Hebrews 13:5-6).
It is our duty as Christians.
It makes our life more comfortable.
It is a means of worshiping God rightly
It makes our souls fit to receive mercy
It delivers us from many temptations
By contentment our souls are nearer to God's own excellence.
Sabbath is kept in a contented heart where there is contentment there is rest.
It exhibits the beauty of grace and the strength of grace.
Contentment is excellent.
Then after the Bible study announcement was made by the church teacher then comes other activities like collecting of tithe and seed of Faith prayers by Rev Canon nnamdi Ifeabunike. And the girls guild members sang their ministration and our nnewichi Archdeacon (Ven Chukwunonso Ogoo Arinze) went on the pulpit for sermon(preaching the word of God).
The venerable was loaded as he mounted the pulpit. He was a good man and also so funny. The part that that makes us laughing when he was giving his testimony,he said he was driving a bicycle when he married his wife that he was a poor man some people mocked his wife that she want to marry Okoro bicycle, but God changed his life from Okoro bicycle to Rev, from Rev to Canon and today again from Canon God appointed him as an Archdeacon. He said that poverty is very bad that none of us will be poor in life because his sermon topic is
Blessings from above(Psalms 121).
He released his fatherly blessings on us and prayed for us and the preaching was over. After the preaching girls guild members bring out their products they prepared and the the church members give them support very well.
And the general Sunday offering was made and went up to the alter for our alter sacrifice and after the prayers the venerable rounder up the service with a powerful closing prayers and the withdrawal hymn was sang and the English service came to an end.
And from today my prayer point is asking God for blessings from above because when you receive blessings from above(God) no one can take it from us. Thank you all so much for reading this my nice and superb article, God bless you all

He is Innocent
Good evening to you all I want to tell you all a true life story today. In a certain village called Umuagu, there lived a man named Titus, Titus was a full grown man with a wife and four children. Titus own a very popular bar at the heart of village square where most of the men do go to drink beer, Ngwo ngwo and isi ewu (head of goat) pepper soup. Titus and his family lived a happy family but one day something happened, something so terrible that changed the life of the entire family, rendered them so useless that they couldn't find their way back to reality.
There also live a man called Timothy, he was among those that fall in love in Titus bar, one evening Timothy did as always went there alone, after taking much for the day he went home to be with his wife and children. After some minutes past twelve in the mid night Timothy started coughing heavily as blood was gushing from his mouth Zara Timothy wife was running up and down like a mad woman. Offia Timothy's brother who happened to be the eldest brother was doing everything in his power to see if his younger brother will survive but all effort fells abortive. They asked Timothy what he ate, but he managed to tell them that he took palm wine and bush meat at Titus bar, this is only what he said and died. Offia Timothy's brother started telling the villagers that Titus killed his younger brother because he was rich, Titus said he's Innocent he know nothing about Timothy's death but the king and the villagers disgrace Titus in front of everyone and burn his bar.
Ten years later when Offia was returning from the wedding ceremony, he saw a man bending his head, out of curiosity Offia touched the man lo and behold it was Offia Young brother Timothy that died years ago Offia was shocked and collapsed to the ground it was early in the morning that passerby saw him and took him home. Offia didn't tell anyone what happened to him despite that his health never remain the way it is, he went from one sickness to another. Offia found himself decaying while he was still alive, his family members threatened to abandon him, so as a result he was asked to be taken to the king's palace of which he was taken to. There he confessed that he was the one that killed his brother Timothy but not Titus as he said everyone was surprised and shocked. He asked for forgiveness but the king ordered his guards to carry him and throw him inside the evil forest. The king summoned his cabinet to know how they will ask Titus for forgiveness for all the humiliation they have done to an Innocent man.
After asking Titus for forgiveness the king rebuild Titus shop and buy a pick up van to help him move his drinks from ware house to his shop. Titus and his family were happy again, the king and his cabinet felt the same way as was the villagers and peace was restored back to Umuagu village again.
Moral lessons
Do not judge or punish someone without seeing an evidence . Make sure you do an investigation before going into action. Forgiveness is the best form of love, always forgive your neighbors whenever they ask for forgiveness

Nuggets of wisdom!!!!
I was at home that day when my mum called me to run an errand for her. (I had no idea what was coming)
She handed some money over to me. It was for a tin of tomatoes. I looked at the money and indeed it was for just one tin.
“Just one?” I thought to my self
I knew I could easily get that on the street, so I wasn’t bordered.
But she wasn’t done...
She went on to describe the particular shop(at the market) to get this, how to get there and what the woman looked like.
“Why travel all the way to the market? All for just a tin of tomatoes?” I thought to my self.
Like I said, I had no idea what was coming. She really made sure I understood the instruction perfectly. As if that wasn’t enough, she instructed me to be home soon( it was getting late already).
Now I’ve always been swift to errands. i wasn’t going to break the record, not that day! There was no way I would be back late...
In few minutes I set on the journey.
When I got to the market, this particular tomato was just everywhere I turned. It seemed that was the only thing I noticed in the market that day.
I could easily get it anywhere without her knowing and without wasting much time too. I still had to walk back home. After all , she will be impressed if I get home on time.
But because I had an instruction to obey, I continued walking.
Now, locating the woman’s shop wasn’t exactly easy. I had to ask and seek just to get there. Time too was against me.

Few minutes into the market, it started raining. Since I didn’t plan on getting drenched and probably catching a cold. I had to find shelter in one of the shops closest to me.
Of course, I found one! It wasn’t difficult, the owner was a woman. I respectfully greeted her and guess what? She responded with a very nice tone. She even offered to get me a seat.
Now, I only had to wait for the outpouring to stop so i can continue my journey.
Finally, the rain died down... I just stood up to leave when I heard her. “Do you want to buy something from me?”
It seemed like she haven’t had any customers since morning and what I wanted to buy was right there staring back at me.
“Why not just get this from her, you’ll be making her day” I thought for a while.
“No! I don’t” I replied.
Having thanked her, I turned around and left.
Of course, I had to struggle with my mind for a while. (Whether or not I made the right decision)
I know am a nice person, but I’m simply obeying my mum’s instruction.
Wait! I just lost my way... ! I couldn’t figure out the path to take anymore. I was obviously buried in thoughts. I had to seek for directions.
Looking up, I saw a lady sitting in her shop. I quietly walked up to her. Before I could say a word, she had already asked what I wanted to buy.
“No ma! I don’t want anything”...
She smiles and sat back down.
I requested that she direct me to where I wanted to get to and she did. She clearly answered all of my questions.
Now, She also had that same tomatoes I was asked to get.
“Ifyyyyyyy, just get this here... it’s already getting late. Your mum isn’t going to find out anyway”
But no... i just had to do exactly as I was told.
With her help, I traced my way to the woman’s shop. I met the lady sitting faced down. She wasn’t looking as bright and nice as the other women. But I greeted her ofcourse, then she reluctantly replied.
“What do you want?” She asked.
(I didn’t exactly love her approach but I just had to tell her about the tomatoes and get going)
“My mum sent me here to get a tin of tomatoes for her” I said.
She then looked straight at me and asked, “WHO IS YOUR MUM?”
On mentioning my mums name, her countenance changed.
No rush! Just wait!
She wasn’t angry... she now was smiling.
(What in the world is she smiling for_ weird)
She got up, went straight to the shelve and started packing food stuffs... Probably for the next customer.
I was waiting for her to collect the money from me, since I’ve gotten what I wanted. She was still busy, So I waited.
When she was done packing the rice, beans, spag... et cetera in a huge bag.
She then handed the bag to me.
I was shocked at first...
“No ma, they are not for me” I said.
I knew I only came for the tomatoes.
Then she said... “YOUR MUM CALLED, And she told me what exactly to give you”
(Unknown to me, my mum had called the woman before hand, telling her everything she needed. I only had my eyes on the money I was given and was holding on to the instruction she gave. I had no idea what was on the way).
I was still in a mini-shock...
She seeing the money I was holding towards her said, “That is for your transport back home”
The joy I felt that day.
I got more than I went for, returned home on time and had a plate of jollof rice for dinner.
I simply had to obey an instruction in the face of more logical alternatives.

You might offer someone a shelter for a season but if they are not sent to you, they will leave! Yours will come and they will stay!
Either they leave or stay... you are blessing lives and facilitating the father’s business. And you will get your reward.
What is yours will come!
Be swift to recognize them!

How to score a song effectively
Some singers who do not understand what it means to score a song thinks it mean listen to d song and learn the lyrics. No no no.
Firstly Scoring a song greatly depends on your level in music, listening fast, technicality of the song. You don't score a song anyhow it needs ATTENTION and CONCENTRATION. For the fact that you are enjoying the song and singing along does not mean you have scored it. Now the Big Question is
*(1) WHAT IS SCORING OF A SONG*
*(2) HOW CAN I SCORE A SONG*
If you can answer the first question, then you have 70% idea on how to answer the second.
SCORING A SONG is the tenacity and ability of literally knowing how a song was written, structured, and recorded. You inversely become the owner n producer of that song. Meaning that, you have to know the lyrics, the harmony, melody, rhythm etc. (I will break it down, relax)
The HOW-TO of Scoring a song entails the above and what am about to write now.
*1. JUST LISTEN:* Get your phone or mp3 player listen to the song, enjoy the melody. Don't start learning it. Feel the weight and sweetness of the song. You can do this once or twice.
*2. KNOW THE STRUCTURE OF THE SONG:* Know how it started either from intro to chorus, from chorus to verse or vice versa. This will help you achieve a lot at the long run. This is the first stage of scoring a song.
*3. WRITE THE LYRICS:* Getting the lyrics down on a notebook will help you when learning the lyrics. I want to warn that you Write down the song by yourself, I don't advice you should go to Internet and copy n paste. Is good to check it online, but listen to it if it tallies to what you are hearing abeg o. You maybe hearing VISION and seeing MISSION online. Be careful about that.
*4. LEARN ALL VOCAL PARTS, BREAKS ETC:* This is where i sometime begin to have problem with my choir. Some will be saying am an alto singer so l scored only d alto part, Ahhh, My dear you are a SINGER NOT ALTO SINGER. learn all the parts. Beside Singers should know how to swap parts. Know when each part comes in, when they sing MELODIOUSLY OR HARMONIOUSLY.
*5. BE THE LEAD SINGER AND THE BACK UP SINGERS:* Try as much as possible to Handle the lead vocal part and the back up. This helps you to correct others even the lead singer when he or she flops. Learn everything both d ad-libs. Everything Everything.
*6. LEARN THE INSTRUMENTATION SOUND:* Don't say you don't know how to play, my dear learn d sound o. The keyboardist may not get d melody or solo part. You will tell him, see! Is not like that play pi ni ra ra ni. (Lol). Knowing the sound arrangement will help you when singing.
*7. SING ALONG:* You sing alongside with the music even if you have not or have perfected the song. Try to sing the same thing you hear in the song. I know voice texture differs but try do it with your own voice texture. You might be scoring Tamela Mann Song while your voice texture is like Don Jazzy or Eben. Do it. But don't go off.
*7. TRY TO SING WITHOUT LISTENING OR PLAYING THE SONG:* This where you know wether you have been joking since you started scoring. Most of us tend to sing well with musical instrument but remove the beat, They sound Wack. My dear sing the song without playing it. Where you make mistake play the song and correct yourself.
*8. OWN THE SONG:* I stated earlier that scoring a song means you are now the owner, music producer singer etc. If you can make the song yours, then you can take it to any level.
With these Few tips you can score a song without fears. If you are a singer you need to know this things very well.

How sweet is palm wine.
Palm wine is a sweet, tasty drink that is gotten from the sap of various species of palm tree such as the Palmyra, date palms and coconut palms. It is one of the most popular drink in the world. Oil palms all produce the sugary liquid that turns into palm wine. Fans describe palm wines taste as milky and powerful sweet, growing more sour and yeasty with time but unlike a Merlot, the taste changes in minutes rather than years. Palm wine has very high alcohol by volume at 40 to 45% above. It is an alcoholic beverages produced from the fermentation of sap of different palm species. Palm wine contains potassium which has been proven by research to improve heart health and reduce hypertension. It can help fight cancer, it contains vitamin B2, it also known as riboflavin. Riboflavin helps in the fight against free radicals.
How to make palm wine.
The person that tap palm wine is called palm wine tapper. They climb insanely tall palm trees, balancing support ropes on their waist. Once at the tree's crown, they insert a tube which slowly bring the sap out into a keg or calabash that's secured tightly against the tree. A clean gourd is tied around the tree to collect the sap,which runs into it. After about half a day, the palm wine tapper returns to collect the sap. It takes only two hours for the palm sap to become palm wine.
What palm wine is called in Nigeria.
The drink is called different names among different people of Nigeria. It is known as emu or oguno among the yoruba's, utok among the Anang people of the South South, mmanya ngwo, nkwu enu or mmanya ocha in Igbo and gya in Hausa. Palm wine tapping is a profession on its town in villages.
How much is gallon of palm wine in Nigeria.
A gallon of unadulterated palm wine is sold for $5 in th village and go for as much as $9 to $10 in the city. That means 10 gallons of palm wine a day could fetch you between $40 to $65 daily depending on where you sold it.
How to preserve fresh palm wine.
A preservation method of palm wine has been perfected locally, it involves pasteurizing and bottling of the palm wine, which increases its shell life to over six months. The preservation and bottling of the palm wine is achieved by arresting the activities of yeast, thus stopping the fermentation of the product. To control the level of of fermentation in fresh palm wine, it becomes necessary to keep it fresh and at a controlled alcoholic content of below 5% the fermentation process can be stopped by such means of preservation such as heat, treatment of pasteurization (45 degree centigrade) or by freezing (0 degree centigrade or below).
In conclusion
Palm wine is good to improve heart health and reduce hypertension and also fight cancer. Today in Igbo land palm wine is used for the introduction of marriage institution. The man coming to take a lady as his wife must bring up to four gallons of palm wine at that appointed day. And also some women that put to bed normally drink palm wine to help them breast feed their babies very well.

You can't be working full-time or be taking an exam and be expected to instantly reply to someone's message all days, having healthy communication leads to successful relationship. The Biafra war problem in Nigeria🇳🇬
Good morning to you all my friends. My article today is all about the Biafra problem we are having today in Nigeria. This is otherwise called Nigeria civil war. It started in July 6,1967 and lasted till January 15,1970. It was estimated that the war had 200,000 military and civilian casualties from the Nigeria side and 1,000,000 military and civilian casualties in the Biafra side. It was a political conflict caused by the attempted secession of South eastern provinces of Nigeria as self proclaimed. Republic of Nigeria. The conflict was as a result of economic ethnic, cultural and religious tension among the various people's of Nigeria. In the coups and counter coups there were pogroms in the North where soldiers officers and civilian were killed. It was estimated that about 30,000 out of the 13 million people of Igbo region lost their lives. Northerners beheaded numerous Igbo civilian and left the headless corpses on trains to the east for the Igbo to see. This led to a large influx of refuges from the North, about 1.8 million refuges heading to the South east, the refusal of Gowon's government to stop the killing of Igbo civilian by fellow northerners led to increasing anti-Nigerian feelings on the part of the Igbos. Even more surprising was that some of this killings was organized by soldiers.
Owing to the above and other factors, the military governor of the Igbo dominated southeast, colonel Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu citing the northern massacress and electoral fraud, proclaimed with southern parliament the secession of the North eastern Region from Nigeria as a Republic of Biafra, an independent nation on 30 may, 1967.
Although the very young nation had a chronic Shortage of weapons to go to war, it was determined to defend herself. There was much sympathy in Europe and else where, yet only five countries organized the new republic. Following the direction the Nigeria government launched a police action and the war began on 6th July 1967. All things being equal after the fell of Biafra town of owerri on January and Uli on 11th January Odumegwu Ojukwu fled to exile to the republic of voted Ivoire leaving his deputy Philip Effiong to handle the details of the surrender to General Yakubu Gowon of the federal army on 15th January 1970. The war finally ended with that surrender.
Today again Nnamdi Kanu is in tittle to bring back the Biafra in Nigeria . Nnamdi Kanu is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony instituted against him in response to years of the campaign for the independence republic of Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and in solidarity with it's detained, IPOB ordered a weekly sit at home exercise across the southern east States. Nigeria is now having sit at home every Monday and Nnamdi Kanu's family had also differed with IPOB on the matter, IPOB called off the order at the behest of Nnamdi Kanu.
But despite the cancellation, commercial activities were still grounded in South East on 5th September 2021. Nnamdi Kanu trial was adjourned till October 21,2021 after the July 26 hearing failed to hold. Everybody is praying for God's intervention in Nigeria. May God help us we Nigeria citizen's.

It was so painful to me
Good evening everyone, please I want to share my aunty's burial ceremony here. The burial ceremony of Mrs uzoma Aronu( Nee Onwuamaegbu) on 6th October 2021. But before I proceed I will like to explain the meaning of burial. A burial is the act of ceremony of putting a dead body into a grave in the ground. The priest prepared the body for burial. He can have a decent burial synonyms, funeral, burying and so on, the funeral helps us acknowledge the reality of the death, gives testimony to the life of the deceased encourages the expression of grief in a way consistent with the cultures value, provides support to mourners, allow for the embracing of faith and belief. Burial is the act of burying, interment while funeral is a ceremony to honour and remember a deceased person often distinguished from a memorial service by the presence of the body of the deceased.
Mrs Uzoma Aronu was born on 13th April 1957 into the family of late Mr and Mrs Fredrick Onwuamaegbu before she married to Mr Samuel Aronu. She's my mummy sister. She is from Nigeria Anambra state local government area nnewi north. Mrs Uzoma Aronu was survived with five children only boys. Mrs Uzoma Aronu was a very good woman that loves anyone that comes near her both young and old. She's a Christian the name of their church is st John Anglican church akaboedoji uruagu nnewi. She's my God mother(Baptismal mother).She was a teacher and children loves her very much. Her husband Mr Samuel Aronu left her and died in the year 1992 and she take the responsibility of her family and God helped her.
Mrs Uzoma Aronu was 64 years old. She was having a sickness called diabetes, this sickness is making her to be losing her weight every time. When I heard she was sick that she was in the hospital am not happy at all because she loves and takes care of me as her daughter because she normally call me Ada m nwaanyi (first daughter) because she conceived only boys. When I visited her in the hospital she opened her eyes and started blessing me I was surprised and called her mummy she answered me and I told her am the one that suppose to pray for her and she told me no problem that she's okay and I prayed for her not knowing that she was about to die. Some minutes after praying to her, her first son chukwuka she was asked to come back came inside the hospital immediately she saw her first son Mrs Uzoma Aronu died after giving him some blessing . It was so painful everybody was so sad about her death. She died on 27th August 2021.
She was taken to the mortuary and everyone went home and they started preparing for the burial and today is the day they fixed the burial which is 6th of October 2021. Mrs Uzoma Aronu was given a very befitting burial. Many people came for her burial she was given a service of song at her husband compound. The tradition is that the venerable will come to her husband house for the service of song before she will be bury in the ground. The venerable will pray for the dead body in the coffin and also pray for her family, friends and well wishes and console them before she will be bury in the ground.
After burying her ndi nwunye di( wifes of the same village) continue with their own songs to show her the love they have for her. They also pray for her children and console them to take heart that God knows the best before the burial ceremony was ended.

Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing great. I want to share my handwork to you today but before I proceed I will like to explain what handwork and passion is all about.
Handwork are work that is done by using your hands, something done by a particular person or group. Handwork gives you more value as a young girl most especially unmarried ones, acquiring a skill before moving into a man's house will make your husband value and respect you. Passion is any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling as love or hate. Instead of regretting your today, tomorrow why not look for the problem and solution before it arises. Handwork are taught in schools, during my secondary we were taught how to make chin-chin, egg roll, pan cake and custard. Then I normally participate in any church programme like youth convention, Girls Guild conference and YAC program (Young Anglican Crusaders). There I learnt how to do :

Then last year being 2020 during COVID-19 lock down I decided and have the passion to learn hair dressing, there my madam teached me how to plait different styles of hair like weaving, knotless bread, twisting, pick and drop, butterfly style, bobmany etc now I can plait ladies any type of hair they want.
Even if you want to be a lawyer, doctor or accountant tomorrow why not acquire one of the high paying skills for ladies to be able to sponsor yourself to any level you want. The best preparation for tomorrow is doing the best today. Sometimes I plait my fellow students their hair and collect small money from them and use the money and buy some of the things I need. Unemployment is bad, it murders dream, but your handwork can help you and your generation eradicate poverty and create more thousands of job in Nigeria for others. Unemployment is the worst thing that can face you as a lady, you need to look for one type of handwork for female but make sure you have passion for the handwork or still you want to learn. Make sure you follow your passion when you want to learn any handwork or skill, a friend of my once said "Take the bull by it's horn and follow your passion". Interior decoration: If you are good in decoration it is a good skill, because you might be called to decorate for example a new home, a wedding or traditional marriage event venue or burial ceremonies etc you do your job and earn money.
Cooking/food vendor: Mostly unmarried men found it difficult to cook at home, they will prefer to go outside and look for delicious meal to eat. Been a food vendor can bring a lot of cash to your purse as a lady not only that she is been called in a wedding and other ceremonies to come and cook while she got paid.

My Matriculation
Good morning everyone, I hope all is going well. I'm here to share my matriculation day with you all, last month being 7th of August 2021 I matriculated. But sometimes people use to ask what is matriculation. Matriculation is the process of getting admission to a new school, or college after qualifying a written exam. Matriculation includes filling an intent to attend, and attendance at an orientation session.
Matriculation is the formal process of entering a university as a candidate for a degree, or of becoming eligible to enter by fulfilling certain academic requirements such as formal examination. At some institution, the term is used to refer as orientation week events. During Orientation, the students completed coursework will be reviwed to determine class standing and the students will have access to academic advising and registration. Matriculation is a term commonly used to refer to the 10th class, which ends at the tenth Board(tenth grade) and the qualification consequently received by passing the national Board exams or the state board exams which is called matriculation exams. Even if you don't intend to submit assessments and study for credit, you should matriculate. Some courses are taught in buildings, or use specific computing suites that require a student login to access. In addition, teachers will make course materials available online which can't be accessed if you didn't matriculate. It is generally older institutions that have continued to hold more formal matriculation ceremonies, where incoming students are occasionally required to sign matriculation registers along with the signature of every other matriculation students in a given year.
Matriculation Oath and register
On your matriculation day they will give you a typed matriculation oath where you will sign that you will abide by all their school rules and regulations. But before signing the matriculation oath all the matriculation students will read rules and regulations out from their mouth after that they will sign the matric oath and submit the paper back.
During my matriculation period my parents said that I will not go for the matriculation I started praying to God because I don't want to miss the matriculation and God answered my prayer.
Reasons why I don't want to miss my matriculation
There are many reasons why I don't want to miss my matriculation day.
It's a tradition. You can liken missing your matriculation to missing your graduation. There are two official ceremonies in your life that I wouldn't want to miss: your matriculation and your graduation.
You get to see the big shots in my matriculation day, there are lots of dignitaries. That very day I was very happy to meet some friends and we played, danced and snapped pictures together.
It may be my only chance to make a fashion statement maybe you didn't really know what to wear for lectures and people still think you don't know your way around. Here's an opportunity to prove them wrong here's achieved to be talk of time maybe this doesn't apply to you. Then again your matriculation is the place to wear that formal yet stunning outfit you didn't know where to wear to.
You'd create memories you would cherish. The ceremony doesn't take so long anyway. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Things like matriculation happen only once use this opportunity to make new friends, some traditional halls really take matriculation world Cup.
Lastly and perhaps most importantly, matriculation is incomplete without photos.

I am new into Bitcoin cash(BCH).
**Introduction**
My name is Chimdiebube Ogochukwu Loveth. I'm from Nigeria Anambra state in nnewi North local government area. I was born on 26th November 2002, and also am the last child out of five children in my family (two girls and three boys)
I am employed as a computer teacher in the year 2016 after my WAEC examination at the Lord's foundation secondary school nnewichi nnewi. Later I started working as a secretary at nkwo nnewi motorcycle spare parts while I'm still waiting for my admission. By the special grace of God I got admission into Institute of science, management & technology in collaboration with South America university JPTS which means Joint Professionals Training and Support. I was offered Business Administration and management but my dream course is Accounting but the competition in Nigeria is tough when it comes to admission, if you didn't go further to accept the one they offered you believe me you will be a jamb customers every year. That's why I decided to accept the one they offered me initially instead of me to be an uneducated child.
How I found out about Bitcoin cash
I heard about Bitcoin cash from @Christian_BCH at his place. @Christian_BCH is the best Tiller man in Ugwogo Nike Enugu state @Christian_BCH is also my president (Leader) in my church at St Paul's Anglican church ugwogo Nike.He is also a singer in my church @Christian_BCH is a very good person that always like to help those people that are in need. When I heard about Bitcoin cash I was the most happiest girl to find a platform that pays only when you write without any vaste requirements.
**My Vision**
Am still a student my dream is to successfull and financially blessed in life. And this dream makes me to be proud and more powerful that poverty will not be in my linage. I have planned and I will love to help people that are in need of anything. My another dream is that after my graduation from university I will start investing a very good and important business since the course they offered me in the university is business administration so that I will be earning money and also help me to be successful in life.
