A little while ago, I was hungry, so I went to the kitchen to make za’atar ( thyme) sandwich, a traditional Lebanese snack. Unfortunately, there was no thyme ready to eat. So I mixed the ground thyme with sesame, sumac and a pinch of salt. Then I put some in a bowl and added olive oil, and it was ready to eat. 😋 You can eat it with cucumber 🥒 or tomato 🍅. Lebanese thyme has a good and delicious taste. All Lebanese people like to eat za’atar especially man’oushe in the mornings.
