Gas prices soared high in my country, Lebanon 🇱🇧, and became unaffordable. Couple months ago, we have installed solar panels system to generate electricity to our home. So, Last week, I bought an electric cooker to use it instead of the stove which depends on gas. It's a very efficient appliance and I'm really satisfied with it. In my way back from Beirut to my village in the countryside, I took these shots of the Sea. It was a perfect day, sunny without any clouds in the blue sky. And the light was amazing to take great shots. I enjoy driving on this road very much, so you can see the combination of greenery in the hills or mountains, and the blue shades of the sky and sea. This afternoon, we went for a walk as usual nearby. Today, I went to a nearby village called Kobayath. Actually it's a small beautiful city, you can see from my shots these beautiful and traditional Lebanese buildings with red tiles on the roofs, arcades, also new building, small and big shops. Today I made Tabbouleh, a traditional Lebanese salad. It's very delicious 😋 and easy to make. This morning, my brother came to visit us and brought with him a bag of loquat from his garden. This fruit is very delicious 😋, its taste is sweet and sour at the same time. A little while ago, I was hungry, so I went to the kitchen to make za’atar ( thyme) sandwich, a traditional Lebanese snack. Unfortunately, there was no thyme ready to eat. So I mixed the ground thyme with sesame, sumac and a pinch of salt. Then I put some in a bowl and added olive oil, and it was ready to eat. 😋 You can eat it with cucumber 🥒 or tomato 🍅. Kwashra lake, Akkar, Lebanon 🇱🇧. This is a nearby village, they have a small artificial lake on the main road. You can see the village on a hill above it, and the mountain still covered by snow till now. People there use it to water their lands, while others enjoy swimming 🏊 or fishing 🎣. Walking among wheat 🌾 🌾 🌾 fields, in this special time of the year, one can enjoy the journey on one of this narrow paths between Wheat plants. The gentle breeze resembling the waves of a calm sea moving them back and forth. A pleasure for the sight and heart.
