The Detour of Life The reality of life happens to each person, it brings forth good and bad experiences. How the person reacts to it, also determine the outcomes. Sometimes, we make plans and put enough efforts to actualize a goal and we discover that such efforts often hit a brick wall. This makes us disillusioned, sad, depressed and destabilized. However, humans have a high rationality and will to survive. All they need is to connect deeper to these and seek meaning or direction. This is why they can make a retreat, have a detour and chart a new course. The human mind has a unique ability to craft ideas to either break through and surmount a brick wall or obstacles in front of their goals. The optimistic power of Hope energizes the human mind to make another effort in spite of obstacles. It forces the person to make a detour in pursuit of reaching that same goal or to chart a new course towards a new goal. No matter what you are passing through - a failed relationship, a failed business, a failed plan or whatever it is,- do not give up. The fact that you still have life in you means that there are still possibilities you can use to actualize your happiness. The detour of life can lead to something better, something sustainable, something more rewarding and something purposeful. Hang on, life is beautiful!
