On my way from the city of Harar to the Danakil region, we made a stop at Awash park, where there are some beautiful waterfalls. But while I was taking pictures I saw a big stone move .. Ohhh .. It's not a stone, it's a big crocodile 🐊 !! I immediately went up to the path, I risked being eaten! ETHIOPIA 2018

#Splashot !! For today's color spot I thought of a unique animal: the chameleon, which changes its color adapting it to that of the surrounding environment. I love its prehensile tail and the fact that it can misalign its big eyes! I took this photo at Anja Park, Madagascar, August 2016

Today I went back for a walk and finally I found Ugo, who as soon as he saw me came towards me, perhaps he hoped I had a carrot for him🥕! After my attention she fell on a cut tree, the inside of which, with the concentric circles, is truly extraordinary!

The Terracotta Army, Xian, China! It is considered one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. About 8,000 life-size statues, chariots and 100 horses have been unearthed and it seems that many more are still buried. The details are amazing and it could not fail to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. I visited this site in August 2019

Ziva's expressions make me die of laughing 😂 She just needs to hear a noise to make her look hallucinated! Here she was frightened by a simple pigeon that took off !!

I'm getting very passionate about electricity pylons, in general structures such as repeaters. I like the geometric shapes that are created by the interlocking of the pieces of steel. This one, with its red lights, seemed very nice to me

During my profitable walk 2 days ago in the hills around my house, I had the opportunity to take many photos. I found many ideas, including flowers, plants and berries. Today I'll show you a succulent plant and a macro of small white flowers. Good Sunday friends

@Simonewanderlust

Good evening, noisy. I finally ate a big burger tonight, I've been wanting it for a while! The place is very large and very nice, and they also make a great beer in the establishment. Also I'm celebrating my friend Amber's birthday and we're having a lot of fun!

@Simonewanderlust

Ohhhh! It's #caturday! Frida from her warm house wishes you a happy Saturday and a good weekend to everyone .. Have fun and rest

A couple of months ago I showed you a couple of the jobs my brother-in-law can do with sand. Today I show you 2 more: the gnome and the mermaid. Aren't they great ?? I consider him an artist! Good weekend to all

@Simonewanderlust

Climb a volcano! It is a very hard experience, the solidified lava rolls under your feet with the effect that you take 3 steps forward and one step back😅. It took a long time to get inside the crater, and it was very cold !! The volcano is Pacaya, Guatemala, where I was in 1997

Peace! The world flag of equality, brotherhood and solidarity among peoples, everyone, in the world, with the colors of the rainbow! Today I am very angry. I bought this flag in 1990, when, for the first time in my life I saw the bombing in Iraq on TV, desert storm they called it. I never thought of taking it out again .. yet today new bombs and missiles ... PEACE !!!

@Simonewanderlust

Berchtesgaden, Germany. On the border with Austria, there are many salt mines in the mountains! I visited this one in August 2010 and it was a lot of fun: you put on a suit, go through the tunnels and finally you get to a wooden slide that takes us at full speed into the depths, where there is a walkway on a placid salt lake in which plays of light are projected!

@Simonewanderlust

Good evening friends. I just got back from a new walk, today I went to the hills and my shape is very bad🤪 I lasted a lot of effort, but every now and then I stopped to do some macros. I had never done them, I still have to improve a lot and in the next few days I will practice again, but for today I am satisfied !!

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning and happy #Splashot. Today I composed a simple image, but I liked to add a pop of color to this old wrought iron lamp that I noticed on one of my day trips in my area. I really like these lamps, which unfortunately are going to disappear, often replaced by LEDs

@Simonewanderlust

Today I took a simple walk around the house, the goal was to get to an enclosure where there is Ugo, a nice donkey who lets himself be caressed ... But today he wasn't there !! Luckily I found a new friend, a fantastic horse that in addition to being touched, posed for my photos !! I'll be back in the next few days to tell him: hey, we made some noise together!

This morning I got up with a great desire to fly! So I decided to show you my first paragliding flight. At first I was very afraid, but then everything turned into adrenaline, emotion and fun. The view over the Himalayas was splendid and the lake was also not bad at all! NEPAL 2017

My second trip to Belgium, in August 2012, was mainly based on the search for Trappist beers, abbeys and small producers. The stop in Achouffe was a must, visiting the dwarf brewery was not to be missed !! We had a lot of fun that year, then I'll show you the abbeys too! 😊🍺

Have a good start of the week! For my #Mondaycoins I show you 2 colored euro Spain 2005, which commemorate the 400th anniversary of the release of Don Quixote, born from the pen of Miguel Cervantes! The second is from Luxembourg and commemorates the centenary of the death of Grand Duke Adolfo and the 50th anniversary of the birth of Grand Duke Henry. I consider the first one of the most beautiful made to date!

@Simonewanderlust

The Beijing Winter Olympics closed today. I visited the Olympic citadel built for the 2008 Olympics, and I assure you it is beautiful. The photos are from my 2019 trip and show the famous "bird's nest" stadium outside and inside and the colorful is illuminated swimming pool!

Happy Sunday everyone! Last night I was having dinner with friends and I couldn't help but photograph the dishes that were beautifully cooked: a mushroom flan with melted cheese, homemade potato tortelli with butter and sage and finally rice pancakes accompanied by champagne !

@Simonewanderlust

Ohhhh ... It's #caturday. Frida today still does not want to open her eyes, she is lazier than usual! I hope you have a little more verve during the day. Happy Saturday everyone!

Amsterdam, Holland 2007! A multiethnic, teeming and open-minded city. Its architecture is unique, with its splendid navigable canals and its narrow and tall houses, and sometimes even crooked! I enjoyed wandering around the various different neighborhoods, obviously strictly on foot! Good weekend to all

@Simonewanderlust

Happy Friday dear noises! I have already told you about the small castle of Ferrano, in Tuscany, a few kilometers from my house, but I am showing you 2 other images. The private castle is in excellent condition both inside and out and the garden is also well kept with lots of colorful flowers

@Simonewanderlust

3 magical moments of my trip to Ethiopia: the arrival at lake Giulietti, a salt lake where you float even when standing still, we pitched tents on the lake shore waiting for the sunset. Then the fantastic starry sky that could be seen that night with the naked eye and finally the arrival of dawn .. I am still excited to look at these images!

PERU, 1996. My tour took me to the floating islands of the Uros people, in Puno, on Lake Titicaca. The islands are man-made, built with dozens of layers of totora, an aquatic plant, and can be moved around, which is why they are also called floating islands. More families live on every single island, and in addition to ongoing maintenance, the sale of souvenirs to tourists has become a source of livelihood.

The Pena Palace, in Sintra, near Lisbon, is a castle perched on a hill, and is one of the most beautiful castles / fortresses in all of Europe, as its architecture embraces many styles, from neo-Gothic to neo-Arab. Its bright colors and the many works carved on the facades making it unique!

@Simonewanderlust

#Splashot !! It is the way of editing that I like the most! These are little monks at the Nyangshwe market on the shores of Inle Lake in Myanmar. Despite having seen them, it was always an emotion, something mystical!

@Simonewanderlust

The grand bazaar of Shiraz, in Iran, absolutely reflects the city: magnificent, clean, colorful and fragrant with spices! It is a very large place and it is pleasant to get lost in every alley and in every area, each of which has different products, from paintings to groceries, from fabrics to souvenirs. Iran 2016
