Ciudad Bolivar. A sleepy city on the banks of one of the largest rivers in the world, the Rio Orinoco. Although it cannot be defined as a lively city, it has a unique charm, as the colonial old town is a tangle of alleys with pastel-colored houses. Wonderful colorful city! A sleepy city that seems full of life at least the houses are very cool! It's a weird contrast, intense colors and silence.
In fact, although it was day and we were in the center, there was no one .. Maybe all the activities during the day take place along the river.

I think it is typical Spanish architecture in the days of the Conquistadors, even the church in the city has that style
Pastel houses. Maybe the community there in Ciudad Bolivar decided to paint their houses lively!
I believe that the old center was built by the Spaniards during the conquests of the sixteenth century and that they have remained in that style. In any case they are gorgeous
