Is having a dating preference bad? Some people say they can't date white people others said they can't date black people or Asians or Mexicans etc Would you date a transgender person and is it discriminatory to say no? Does that make you transphobic? Some women can't date short men and some men can never date a fat woman, is that discrimination? Do you think society made you have those preferences and the society made you hate black or white or short or fat or trans people? You are right. Being social is not just to live in a society , we also have to show some responsibility and emotion for society. In society we never learn to like people for any preference . actually it only our perception that makes to compel us to do preference and i think , we should try to remove this from our mind . as men has its own beauty ,so dont judge by any preference.
I think as humans we would always have preferences in every aspect of our lives, we would always choose what we like and prefer and what makes us happy whether the society likes it or not. We have different cultures and traditions all over the world and its allowed. Trying to make everyone like the same things and do the same things will never work, the more you force people to do what they don't like the more they hate you. Allow people choose how they want to live their lives as long as they are not harming anyone.
It's not wrong to have your own preference when it comes to dating. It's because we have different personalities and preferences that why people have varied preferences when it comes to who we want to be with. Forcing someone to like what we like will not let that person become happy. We have our own choices to be happy and that includes choosing who we want to date. And I prefer not to date instead if someone doesn't meet my preferences.
Exactly! I would rather be single than date someone I'm not attracted to.
It's not bad to set standard or preference who you will date with. But always remember nobody's perfect.
