Are You Manipulating People? Don’t use apologies as substitutes for doing the actual work. An apology with no intention of changing is just manipulation. If you’re going to apologize always follow it up with a genuine plan of how you’re going to change and do better.

If you apologize and continue doing the same thing there is no change, you’ve made a choice to keep doing it. Try not to do too much at once and don’t give up when it’s hard, small steps and consistency is key. Have you ever been manipulated by someone?
