For those who don't know when it's time for prayer, then the muezzin recites the adhan - the call to prayer, and he swears it's about prayer, when it's dark, then the lights on the minaret are lit, this was the call to prayer, and I just darkened the picture a bit ;) Photo by Setac

I thought it was a tall tower in the dark, but we do not have minarets here...
They are characterized by that narrow "terrace" - sherefet, along which the lighting is arranged ... In ancient times, those steep stairs would be climbed by the muezzin, the one who goes up and reads the call to prayer, that way people hear that the appointed time has arrived :) Now there is a sound system, so the speakers are arranged above :) Have a nice day my friend!
