I have no idea what happened to this tree, I guess it survived the lightning strike. It is hollow on the inside, the opening is so big that a man can comfortably fit inside, I personally saw that :) It's nice that the mountaineers chose him to mark the trail. yes most probably it was hit by lightning strikes. but with that red mark. means its for cutting down.
Definitely not for cutting. This red circle indicates that it is a path to the top of the mountain. Marking for mountaineers.
ah ok. because here if some rounded marks., means for cutting down. it is good to know that they keep it for a long time
