Anorexia Nervosa Are you or a loved one struggling with anorexia? Explore the signs, symptoms, and causes of the this and how to get assistance. Anorexia Nervosa Many of us worry about putting on weight or wish we looked different in today's image-obsessed society or could fix something about ourselves. That's just a human thing. But if your eating habits, emotions, and life have been taken over by concern about being thin, you might have the extreme eating disorder, anorexia nervosa. Anorexia can result in unhealthy weight loss, which is also harmful. The desire to lose weight may actually become more important than anything else. The desire to see yourself as you really are can also be lost. Anorexia can affect women and men of all ages and is characterized by a failure to maintain a healthy body weight, an extreme fear of gaining weight, and a distorted body image, although it is most prevalent among teenage women. By starving yourself, exercising excessively, or using laxatives, vomiting, or other methods to purge yourself after eating, you can attempt to lose weight. It may take up most of your day to think about dieting, food, and your body, leaving little time for friends, family, and other things you used to enjoy. Life becomes an unrelenting search for thinness and drastic weight loss. But it is never enough, no matter how skinny you get. **Restricting type** of anorexia is where weight loss is achieved by restricting calories (following drastic diets, fasting, exercising to excess). **Purging type** of anorexia is where weight loss is achieved by vomiting or using laxatives and diuretics. The constant dread of weight gain or disappointment about how your body looks can make it really stressful to eat and eat. And still, virtually all you can think about is food and what you can and cannot consume. But there is hope, no matter how entrenched this self-destructive trend seems. You can break the self-destructive grip anorexia has on you with medication, self-help, and encouragement, build a more positive body image, and recover your health and self-confidence. Signs and symptoms of anorexia While people with anorexia often have different behaviors, one constant is that living with anorexia means that those habits are continually hidden from you. This can make it difficult for friends and family to identify the warning signs at first. You might continue to justify away your disordered eating and brush away questions when questioned. Yet people close to you will not be able to ignore their instincts that something is wrong as anorexia progresses, and neither can you. If your life is regulated by eating and weight, you do not have to wait until your symptoms have worsened or your health is dangerously low until you seek treatment. **Food behavior symptoms** Dieting in spite of being slim. Following a seriously restrictive diet. Eating only such foods that are low-calorie. "Banning "evil" foods such as fats and carbohydrates. Calorie obsession, fat grams, and nutrition. Reading food labels, calculating and weighing portions, keeping a log of food, reading books on diets. To pretend to feed or to lie about food. To avoid eating, hiding, playing with, or throwing away food. "Making excuses ("I had a big lunch" or "My stomach is not feeling good") to get out of meals. Food Preoccupation. Thinking constantly about food. Cooking for others when eating very little, gathering recipes, reading food magazines, or making meal plans. Strange or secretive rituals for food. Refusing to eat in public places or with others. Eating in rigid, ritualistic ways (e.g. cutting' just so' food, chewing and spitting out food, using a particular plate). **Appearance and body image symptoms** Dramatic loss of weight. A sudden, dramatic loss of weight without any medical cause. Despite being underweight, feeling fat. In some areas, such as the chest, hips, or thighs, you can feel overweight in general or just "too fat." Body image fixation. Obsessed with weight, type of the body, or size of clothing. Frequent weigh-ins and anxiety about minor weight variations. Critical of appearance harshly. Spending a lot of time looking for defects in front of the mirror. Something to criticize is still there. You're never sufficiently thin. Denial that it makes you too thin. When trying to hide it, you can deny that your low body weight is an issue (drinking a lot of water before being weighed, wearing baggy or oversized clothes). **Purging symptoms** Using diet pills, diuretics, or laxatives. Abuse of water tablets, suppressants of herbal appetite, prescription stimulants, ipecac syrup, and other weight loss medicines. Throwing up after having fed. After meals, they sometimes vanish or go to the toilet. The water can run to disguise vomiting sounds or reappear to smell like mouthwash or mint. Exercising compulsively. Following a punishing routine of exercise aimed at burning calories. Exercising by collisions, disease, and poor weather. Upon bingeing or eating something "bad," working out extra hard. Anorexia causes and effects No easy solutions to the causes of anorexia are available. Anorexia is a complex disorder that results from a mixture of several factors that are social, mental, and biological. While the idealization of thinness by our society plays a strong role, there are several other contributing factors, including: Insatisfaction of the body Strict Dieting Procedure Poor self-esteem for oneself Emotional challenges Perfectionicism Troubled relationships with relatives Physical or sexual assault history Additional stressful events Family history with eating disorders **Effects of anorexia** Although there are unclear causes of anorexia, the physical symptoms are apparent. It goes into starvation mode when the body doesn't get the fuel it needs to work normally and slows down to conserve energy. Your body, ultimately, begins to eat itself. Medical problems mount up and the body and mind pay the price if self-starvation persists and more body fat is lost. Getting help It is not an easy decision to make to decide to seek treatment for anorexia. It is not unusual to feel that anorexia or even your "friend" is part of your identity. You may think that anorexia has such a powerful hold on you that you will never be able to overcome it. But while change is difficult, it is possible. Admit that you've got a problem. Up to now, if you lose more weight, you have been investing in the belief that life will change, that you will actually feel healthy. The first step in the treatment of anorexia is to admit that your constant pursuit of thinness is out of your control and accept the physical and emotional harm you have suffered as a result of it. Chat with someone. Talking about what you're going through can be challenging, especially if you've kept your anorexia a secret for a long time. Maybe you're ashamed, ambivalent, or scared. But knowing that you're not alone is vital. Find a good listener when you continue to recover, someone who can help you. Keep away from individuals, locations, and behaviors that trigger your obsession with being slim. You will need to stop looking at fashion or fitness magazines, spend less time talking about weight loss with friends who are actively dieting and talking, and stay away from weight loss blogs and anorexia-promoting 'pro-ana' pages. Seek clinical assistance. Professional eating disorder therapists' advice and guidance will help you recover your health, learn to eat regularly again, and develop healthy attitudes towards food and your body.

Covid-19 Anxiety Fears about COVID-19 can take an emotional toll, especially if you have an anxiety disorder already. Yet you aren't impotent. These tips will assist you in getting through this difficult time. Understanding your anxiety It's a scary time. With several locations at least partly shut down, others trying to reopen safely, we're in the center of a worldwide pandemic. Some of us are in places where the rates of coronavirus infection are worsening. Others prepare themselves for what can come next. And we're all watching the news and thinking, "When will this be over?" ” The confusion surrounding coronavirus is the hardest thing to tackle for many individuals. We really don't know exactly how we're going to be affected, how long this is going to last, or how bad things are going to get. And that makes catastrophizing and spiraling out of crippling fear and panic all too easy. But there are also things you can do to control your anxiety and fears, particularly in the face of this unique crisis. **Keep updated, just don't search the news obsessively.** Staying informed, especially about what is happening in your neighborhood, is important so that you can follow the safety precautions advised and do your part to slow the spread of coronavirus. Yet, as well as sensationalistic news, there is a lot of misinformation going around that just feeds into fear. Being discerning about what you read and watch is critical. Stick to reputable outlets such as the CDC, the World Health Organisation, and the authority in the local public health. Limit the number of notifications you search. Instead of calming anxiety, continuous monitoring of news and social media feeds can easily turn compulsive and counterproductive. For everybody, the limit is different, so pay attention to how you feel and change it accordingly. When you start feeling depressed, move away from the news. Consider restricting your media intake to a fixed time period and time of day if anxiety is an ongoing problem (e.g. thirty minutes each evening at 6 pm). Tell someone trustworthy to share substantial updates. Ask someone you trust to pass along any big developments you need to hear about if you would feel like avoiding the media completely. Be careful on what you post. Before passing it on, do your best to check the details. One place to start is Snopes' Coronavirus Array. To avoid spreading rumors and causing needless panic, we all need to do our part. **Rely on stuff that you can handle,** We are in a moment of tremendous upheaval. Outside of our influence, there are so many factors, like how long the pandemic lasts, how other people act, and what will happen in our societies. That's a hard thing to consider, and so many of us respond by searching the Internet constantly for answers and worrying about all the different possibilities that might happen. But as long as we concentrate on issues with unknowable responses and situations beyond our personal control, apart from feeling exhausted, nervous, and overwhelmed, this approach will get us nowhere. Try to turn your mind to things you can handle when you find yourself being swept up in fear of what could happen. You can't monitor, for instance, how serious the coronavirus outbreak is in your town or city, but you can take measures to minimize your own personal risk (and the risk of spreading it unknowingly to others), such as: Clean your hands regularly with soap and water or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol (for at least 20 seconds). Do not touch your face (particularly your eyes, nose, and mouth). Stay at home as long as you can, even though you're not feeling sick. Avoiding crowds and groups of 10 individuals or more. Avoiding all non-essential travel and shopping. When out, keep a distance of 6 feet between yourself and others. You get plenty of sleep, which helps to strengthen the immune system. Complying with all the health authorities' guidelines. **Stay in touch, even when separated physically,** Evidence suggests that many individuals with coronavirus do not have symptoms, especially young, apparently healthy individuals, but can still spread the virus. That's why the best thing most individuals can do to make a meaningful impact right now is to practice social distancing. Yet social distancing entails threats of its own. Humans are creatures that are social. To bind, we're hardwired. Anxiety and depression can be compounded by isolation and loneliness, and even affect our physical health. That's why, even as we cut back on in-person socializing, it's vital to remain linked as best we can and reach out for help when we need it. Making keeping in touch with friends and family a priority. Think about arranging daily phone, chat, or Zoom dates to reverse the pattern if you appear to withdraw while stressed or anxious. Although in-person visits are limited, if you are willing, replace video chatting. Face-to-face interaction is like a mental wellbeing "vitamin," reducing the risk of depression and helping to alleviate stress and anxiety. Social networking can be a powerful tool, not only to communicate with friends, families, and acquaintances, but to feel more connected to our societies, country, and the world in a larger sense. This shows us that we aren't alone. That said, be aware of how you feel about social media. Don't hesitate to mute keywords or individuals that are making the anxiety worse. And log off if that makes you feel any worse. Do not let any discussion be governed by the coronavirus. To simply enjoy each other's company, it is important to take breaks from stressful thoughts about the pandemic to laugh, exchange stories, and concentrate on other things going on in our lives. **Take control of the spirit and body** This is an incredibly stressful time, and all the tried-and-true techniques for stress management apply, such as eating nutritious food, having plenty of sleep, and meditating. Beyond that, in the face of the unique disturbances caused by the coronavirus, here are several suggestions to practice self-care. Be good to yourself. When you're feeling more depression or anxiety than normal, go easy on yourself. In your challenges, you're not alone. As best you can, maintain a schedule. Try to stick to your usual sleep, training, dinner, or work routine even if you're stuck at home. This will allow you to retain a sense of normalcy. For things that you love, take time off. Whether it's a new recipe, a craft, or a piece of art, read a good book, watch a comedy, play a fun board or video game, make something. As long as it keeps you out of your problems, it doesn't matter what you do. Get out, if possible, with nature. You'll do better with sunshine and fresh air. You might also feel better with a stroll around your neighborhood. Just make sure you avoid crowds, keep your distance from people you meet, and respect your region's restrictions. Discover ways to workout. It will help you release anxiety, alleviate stress, and control your mood by staying active. You can still bike, climb, or walk whilst gym and community classes may be out. Or search online for fitness videos you can follow if you're stuck at home. And without tools, there are many activities you can do, such as yoga and workouts using your own bodyweight. Avoid becoming self-medicated. Take note that you do not use alcohol or other drugs to cope with depression or anxiety. It might be a good idea to stop it for now, if you tend to overdo it at the best of times. Take up the art of relaxation. When your nervous system is thrown out of control by stressors, calming techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, and yoga will get you back into a state of balance. Daily practice has the greatest advantages, so see if each day you can set aside even a little time. **Helping others (it will make you feel better)** It is possible to get wrapped up in your own worries and concerns at times like this. But it's important to take a breath and note that we're all in this together, despite all the news of people fighting over wearing face masks or lining up outside gun stores to arm themselves. As we are reminded by a quote circulated in Italy: "We are now standing far apart so we can embrace each other later." It's no surprise that those who focus on those in need and help their communities appear to be happier and healthier than those who behave selfishly, especially during times of crisis. It can also encourage your own mental health and well-being by helping others not only make a difference to your community, and also to the wider world at this time. Most of the anguish that follows this pandemic derives from feeling impotent. Doing kind and supportive deeds for others, as well as adding meaning and intent, will help you recover a sense of control over your life. There's always plenty you can do to support people, even if you're self-isolating or keeping social distance. Follow the instructions to keep the virus from spreading. Staying at home, washing your hands regularly, and avoiding contact with others, even if you are not in a high-risk category, will help save the lives of the most vulnerable in your community and prevent overburdening the healthcare system. Reach out who need some. If you know individuals who are isolated in your community, especially the elderly or disabled, you can still offer help. Maybe an elderly neighbor needs help with groceries or a prescription? To prevent direct contact, you can still leave parcels on their doorstep. Or maybe they just need to hear, over the phone, a friendly, reassuring voice. In your city, several local social media groups will help bring you in touch with vulnerable people. Make donations to food banks. In certain regions, Hoarding has limited supplies to food banks, while unemployment and economic problems have increased demand greatly. By donating food or cash, you can support older people, low-income families, and those in need. Be an influence that is soothing. Try to help them gain some perspective on the situation if friends or loved ones are panicking. Refer them to reputed news outlets instead of scaremongering or giving credence to fake rumors. In these anxious moments, being an optimistic, uplifting force will help you to feel better about your own situation, too. Become kind to everyone. An infectious disease is not related to any ethnic or racial group, so if you encounter false stereotypes that only encourage discrimination, speak up. With the right mindset and intentions, we can all ensure that compassion and charity grow much faster than this virus in our societies.

Sad News: Polkadot Passes Bitcoin Cash **Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has been overtaken by Polkadot and its native cryptocurrency, DOT, as the sixth largest cryptocurrency by market value.** Polkadot has a market cap of $7.63 billion, according to CoinGecko, a crypto-currency market capitalization aggregator. It ranks sixth now by market cap, relative to the $6.35 billion market cap of Bitcoin Cash. The short time frame it took for Polkadot to achieve this stage is what has inspired everyone. Polkadot is under one year old. Co-founder Gavin Wood published a revised road map for the new year as Polkadot was reaching this milestone. Wood also provided a collection of figures on the network's growth and its achievements. Using DOT grant initiatives and the DOT treasury, over 200 projects were sponsored. The network accounts for over 1 billion DOT, which accounts for 63 percent of the circulating supply of coins. **What is Polkadot?** Many sites for smart contracts aspire to be a 'Ethereum killer' one day. But a new approach is being taken by Polkadot. In total market cap, Polkadot has exceeded every other Ethereum rival, including big time players like Cardano and EOS. It is not that Ethereum wants to compete with the network. Instead, for quicker and cheaper features, Polkadot wants to serve as a bridge between the network where Ethereum apps and assets can be 'wrapped' into the Polkadot ecosystem. For the smart contract ecosystem, Polkadot aims to serve as a layer-two scaling solution. Polkadot is only communicating with Ethereum applications and properties so far, but aims to extend and integrate other tools for blockchain. **Bitcoin Cash keeps on floundering** For Bitcoin Cash, it's been a tough few years. It has recently broken free from its lowest rates of all time. There has not been a lot of hope surrounding the currency, however. Bitcoin Cash went through yet another hard fork in November that split the chain into two distinct and unique chains. This hard fork represented yet another split in the community while still claiming to be the 'real' Bitcoin by many of its supporters. A rising tide such as the rise in BTC prices will typically raise all boats, especially in the cryptocurrency world. But in BCH's case, it seems like it is overlooked by the crypto community and investors as a whole. In the meantime, other ventures such as Ethereum are rising year-on-year by over 500 percent and hitting multi-year price peaks. It's hard to tell whether Polkadot's sixth place acquisition reflects DOT's success or BCH's disappointment.

@Serg0213

My promise to BitcoinCash this year 2021 A lot had happen in year 2020. There was good and there was bad. The most noticeable bad thing that happened was the covid 19 pandemic, wherein a lot of people have suffered. Communities on lockdown, business establishments have been closed, students started home schooling, and especially death for the people who acquired the disease that are immunocompromised. I can tell that the whole world have changed, but the good thing is that we, as humans, are able to adapt to this changes. The so called new normal. My year 2020 in a nutshell **Pre pandemic** As I've said before, I work as a nurse in a tertiary public hospital here in our country wherein I am not a regular employee. We always renew our contracts every 3 months. And because of this, we don't have any benefit. We don't have a 13th month pay, a vacation leave or sick leave with pay, double pays on holidays or you can easily say as **no work, no pay**. **Pandemic** When the covid 19 hits us, it was so hard on my part. I was forced to not go to home for around 5 months so that I can't bring home or infect my family members because I am one of the healthcare personnel who are handling patient with Covid19. Even if I want to neglect my duty because I miss my family, I don't have a choice. I am the breadwinner in our family. I have a 3 yesr old daughter and my wife was unemployed at that time. And my salary was just enough to feed both of them. Almost 3 months ago, I have started browsing the internet to search for any means to earn some extra so that I can give them more. That's when was the first time that I have joined read.cash. At first, I don't care about anything on this platform. All I wanted to do is earn some cash. Just write some article, interact with others, and boom, wait if you can get any points or tips. As time goes by being on this platform, little by little I learned about BitcoinCash. How it was created and the reason why ot is created. I started to get interested about it and little did I know I became a fan and began promoting bitcoin cash to my colleagues and families. And it was a success, my colleagues started to use coins.ph (a wallet in the philippines that support bitcoincash) as a form of payment method when buying prepaid load, and my families uses it too to send some money to me or to my other relatives. **So my promise to BitcoinCash this year 2020 is to continue promoting it, use it, and especially buy BCH with the 3% of my salary and Hold it for long term investment. I believe that the future is bright with bitcoincash and it will never bring me down. (Btw, my wife is employed now).**

Blockchain on Online Gaming Blockchain technology's success has grown tenfold, and it is estimated to be worth a whopping $20 billion in the next five years. The key reason why this technology is becoming increasingly popular is its ease of use in daily life. Blockchain technology, with many people adopting the concept, is expected to transform the face of many industries, including online gaming. Studies have shown that 44% of casino gamers use blockchain in one way or the other. Blockchain tech is expected to see increased growth as more and more individuals enter online gaming, which would also have a positive effect on the industry. As a result of blockchain technology, what changes do you expect to come in this industry? Better Protection Many casinos may ask players to enter personal details when it comes to online gaming before they can be able to sign up for an account. With the numerous online cases of fraud, many players find the process to be a very awkward undertaking. After all, those who want to exchange online confidential data such as addresses and credit card numbers. However, app developers have eradicated the need to exchange personal information while paying for online services thanks to blockchain technology. With blockchain technology, online casino gamers are assured of the security of their information, particularly when it comes to deposits for online games or online slots. Blockchain software operates by establishing a permanent record of any transaction performed, thus removing the need to use a third party. Such a move creates more trust between players and the related online casino. **Blockchain Technology and Online Games** This is good news for many players to hear that blockchain-powered online games are open. CryptoKitties is a clear example of such games, with many more entering this technology every passing day. With such a game, you are given a chance to trade with fellow gamers with some unique digital kitties. If you like using collectables to trade, you can try a game like EtherRockets. This game allows you to create your own set of rockets, which you can then use to trade on the market. **Instant Transactions** For most players, making a profitable transaction was a major challenge as game developers switched to online gaming. Players needed to be very careful with the whole process with the transaction that went through, and it was quite a time until the money could be processed. As a consequence, gaming events were skipped by many players, which also resulted in lost opportunities to make some money. However, transactions are carried out immediately, with the aid of blockchain technology, since there are no third parties involved to delay or stop the transaction. Fast transactions are of great importance in iGaming, and it is absolutely crucial for transactions to go through quickly, considering the large number of transactions that are carried out in just a single day. For example, you can do it with the assistance of blockchain technology if you want to make fast deposits between two slot spins. **An End to Online Games Black Market** Technology has encouraged some people to come up with all kinds of ways to make some fast cash. While the industry has a set of rules that govern it, there are certain people who choose to overlook these regulations. On several gaming platforms, account sale is one of the prohibited things, but some people will go ahead and sell their accounts for real money. As compared to working hard to get the same, the main goal of buying and selling gaming accounts is to be able to get easy access to plenty of in-game rewards. Yet software developers are able to quickly pick up such behavior thanks to BlockChain technology. This way, players who contravene the law may be banned or suspended, and it helps establish an equal playing field fair for all players. One of the best innovations to strike the face of technology is the blockchain. This technology has changed the online gaming industry tremendously. The online gaming industry is able to offer seamless services today, and this technology is expected to continue to advance in the coming years.

Myths About Alcoholism Busting alcohol addiction myths Myth: When I want to, I can stop drinking. Fact: You can, perhaps; more likely, you can't. It's just an excuse to keep drinking either way. The fact is, you have no intention to stop. Despite all the evidence to the contrary and no matter the harm it does, telling yourself you should leave helps you feel in control. Myth: My problem is my drinking. I'm the one who gets hurt, so no one is able to tell me to stop. Fact: It is true that it is up to you to decide to stop drinking. But if you believe your drinking harms no one else but you, you are deceiving yourself. Alcoholism affects those around you, the ones closest to you in particular. Their problem is your problem. Myth: I don't drink every day, or I just drink beer or wine, so I can't be an alcoholic. Fact: Alcoholism is NOT characterized by what you drink, or even how much you drink, or when you drink it. The Results of your drinking are what characterize an issue. If you drink regularly or only on weekends, down shots of tequila or stick to wine, drink three bottles of beer a day or three bottles of whisky, whether your drinking creates issues in your home or work life, you have a drinking problem. Myth: I'm not an addict because I've got a career and I'm doing all right. Fact: To be an alcoholic, you do not have to be homeless and drink from a brown paper bag. Most alcoholics are able to maintain jobs, get through college, and provide for their families. Some are even in a position to succeed. But just because you are a highly functioning alcoholic doesn't mean that you don't put yourself or others at risk. The consequences will catch up with you over time. Myth: Alcohol, like substance abuse, is not a' true' addiction. Fact: Alcohol is a medication, and alcoholism is just as dangerous as opioid addiction. Body and brain changes are triggered by alcohol addiction, and long-term alcohol dependence can have devastating effects on your health, career, and relationships. When they stop drinking, alcoholics go through physical withdrawal, much as drug addicts experience when they leave.

The True Bitcoin Well, just wanna write this up because of the new update on this platform. Not that noise.cash thing but about the topics. When you click the icons topic, you would notice the word TRUEBITCOIN, and two of my article will come out. I am proud to say that I was the one who used up the word truebitcoin in the add topic menu on this platform. BitcoinCash will always be the true bitcoin. Merry Christmas everyone! And for BCH, lets end the year 2020 with $400 mark or higher.

@Serg0213

My Kind of Christmas It can be a mixed bag to be a nurse during the holidays. Every case would be different because nurses operate in an immense number of clinical and non-clinical settings; one common denominator is that the holidays have an effect on us all. Missing our Families No matter what holidays you might celebrate, it is usually preferred to be home with loved ones. Sadly, a round-the-clock animal is the healthcare system and nurses are required 365 days a year on the front lines. You may feel bereft of the experience of being with your family members on a special day while you are working on Hannukah, Christmas, or Kwanzaa. With patients or friends, while you can enjoy holiday cheer, nothing can replace being at home. The truth of your loss is intense, and it's not always easy to weather the feelings; luckily, for shared support, you have colleagues. In order to be home for the special occasions, some nurses rearrange family celebrations; we've also heard of nurses who have delayed Thanksgiving dinner until Friday because they can't be home on Thursday. Creative strategies will help relieve the pressure if your family is versatile. Patients and Isolation from Holiday During breaks, healthcare providers are not the only ones isolated from families. On the day before a special celebration, hospital stays do not magically stop and thousands of patients end up stuck in the hospital. In addition, some patients do not have any relatives to talk about, so they may see you as their alternative family. Giving your patients a little extra and sharing holiday cheer is your sacred responsibility and privilege. While you may be struggling with your own desires while operating on Hannukah or Christmas, with the added insult of feeling unwell and being unable to go home at the end of the shift, your patients are in a similar position. Although your family will miss you, you will walk out the door eventually. It is an essential act of kindness to foster empathy for the suffering of your patients. Stress Stacking It can be a joyous holiday season, but it can also be a time of extra tension and concern. At this moment of the year, many of us will feel strained beyond our budget, and our patients will feel similarly; and when our patients face catastrophically high medical bills, their level of stress may increase accordingly. Monitor carefully for signs of depression and anxiety in yourself, your friends, and your patients during this potentially tender moment. Those with a history of psychiatric depression or anxiety may have worsened symptoms, and new symptoms may be exhibited by those without an evident history. In addition, such celebratory periods can evoke old grief about friends and loved ones who have died. Stress may be born from every part of our experience during the holidays, and some of us have better coping skills than others. In the end, it is key during the holidays to cultivate consideration for our own feelings and the feelings of others. We need to note that the holiday of one person can be the nightmare of another, and we can not easily know how emotionally this time of year can manifest for any individual. When the holidays come around, love, self-compassion, a little extra grace, and a giving heart go a long way. Keep mindful of what others may feel, ask kind questions, and listen with an open heart and mind; that is the true spirit of holidays in motion.

I'm All In! Bitcoin Cash is the only cryptocurrency in the Crypto world that has generated the most controversy since its development. You can understand from the fact that its market value surpassed $7 billion within only one day after its entrance to the market. After Bitcoin and Ethereum, this incredible feat put it in third spot. The hype was so strong that some specialists even believed that the firstborn would be replaced by Bitcoin Cash. You can use read.cash, lazyfox.io, and memo.cash for that reason if this information has ignited your interest in Bitcoin Cash and made you wonder where you can get hold of your fair share of Bitcoin Cash. **Is it possible to invest in Bitcoin Cash?** You may, of course. **Should you invest in Bitcoin Cash?** It's a very interesting question now. Frankly speaking, it is difficult to provide advice on investments in Bitcoin Cash. There are just too many volatile variables that impact Bitcoin Cash's market positioning. Although Bitcoin Cash is volatile, developers are very positive about its potential results. Bitcoin Cash is the most common Bitcoin fork at the moment and is embraced by some of the big fish in the crypto business field. Now here is the answer to the question you asked later. If you believe there is a future for Bitcoin Cash, feel free to buy. But if you assume that Bitcoin Cash has no future, there are other cryptocurrencies to invest in. **Future** In several aspects, bitcoin cash is perceived to be the successor of Bitcoin. This is the reason why in just a single day it surpassed the $7B cap. Bitcoin Cash has several teams of developers who check the efficiency of the network. As they were successful in upgrading Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash, you can expect great things from the currency team. The essence of Bitcoin Cash is close to that of Bitcoin and runs on the same network that is decentralized. Developers have also increased the block capability to 32MB since the fork in 2017. Today, the Bitcoin Cash Blockchain network is used by several ventures. We can clearly see that Bitcoin Cash's future is brighter than ever with a strong development team, laid out ground plan work, and a compelling vision. **Things to consider** Bitcoin Cash has lower transfer fees (around $0.20 per transaction), so you'll save more money than using BTC by making transactions in BCH. A BTC transaction will cost about $1 USD per transaction, although it has gone up to about $25 per transaction before! BCH has more frequent transfer times. So, the 10 minutes it takes to validate a Bitcoin transaction do not have to wait! More transactions per second can be done by BCH. This ensures that BCH can be used at the same time by more individuals than they can for BTC.

Kim Dotcon is Bullish on BCH Kim Dotcom, the renowned internet entrepreneur and founder of MegaUpload, has estimated that by next year, the value of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will go as high as $3,000. In contrast to Bitcoin, which is considered a store of value, Bitcoin Cash is perfect for payments, according to Mr. Dotcom. In addition, because of its low fees and quicker transactions compared to Bitcoin, more vendors will begin accepting crypto, and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is best positioned to fill this niche. Kim Dotcom, the influential internet entrepreneur, projected that next year, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be priced at $3,000. His research is focused on increased crypto acceptance, which will lead suppliers to prefer cheaper and quicker BCH transactions than Bitcoin. I think this is one of the reason why Bitcoin Cash breaks its all time low and I myself is hoping that what Mr. Dotcom have tweeted will come true. Fingers crossed!

HODL One of the first things you'll probably experience is the ever-evolving use of crypto slang, a special language created by crypto enthusiasts, as you delve into the world of cryptocurrency. You will be met with a multitude of new words and phrases that go beyond their conventional concepts of meanings such as mooning, shilling, fudding, "pump and dump," FOMO, and DYOR. However, HODL is by far the most common of these concepts and one to which virtually all investors in cryptocurrencies can relate. In 2013, for the very first time the word "HODL" appeared on a thread in a Bitcoin Talk forum, a post that has now been read over 788K times. It was used by a member called GameKyuubi who obviously wrote drunkly, "I AM HODLING." What the bluser tried to express in the post was the fact that he decided to hang on to his Bitcoins despite the drop in price. The purposefully mispelled word "HODL" has since become a common phrase in the cryptocurrency industry and it continues to be used if someone wishes to say that he or she owns a coin that they think will be lucrative. "HODL" is not only an acronym anymore, but a conviction. The four-letter word that will alter the world through blockchain and cryptocurrencies and unleash vast wealth for people who continue to trust cryptocurrencies even throughout times of distress. When the value of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies decreases, the word "HODL" now always pops up and sends the message not to sell to crypto holders. Such crypto-believers face difficulties, particularly when it becomes difficult to "HODL" during a bear market, especially when you realize that your investment is diminishing and when you see your friends cashing out to minimize their losses. For true believers, even during such a distressed circumstance, "HODL" remains the only fact.

Moon, next destination? Bitcoin has broken through the psychological price barrier after jumping around under $20,000 per bitcoin for the past month. In the last 12 months, the bitcoin price, hitting $20,440 on the Luxembourg-based Bitstamp exchange before slightly falling back, has risen by about 200 percent as governments ramp up spending in the wake of coronavirus lockdowns, investors look to bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, and institutional interest in bitcoin increases. Bitcoin investors, who this year cheered the increase in bitcoin prices, feel increasingly optimistic going into 2021, with many believing that the price will continue to grow. As we come to the end of what was an iconic bitcoin year, I can only see more positive growth in 2021," said Danny Scott, chief executive of the Isle of Man-based bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange CoinCorner via email, pointing to the U.S. business intelligence company MicroStrategy MSTR adding bitcoin to its corporate treasury and payments giant PayPal PYPL rolling out bitcoin purchasing and selling bitcoin." Bitcoin's $20,000 spike comes after a Reuters study saying that fund manager Ruffer Investment Management transferred around $675 million of the money of its customers into bitcoin. Earlier reports had indicated that a much smaller amount had been allocated to bitcoin by the London-based company, which manages assets worth around $27 billion. "This will eventually happen again compared to 2017 when demand came from the retail market, of course the current demand comes from an institutional level completely flying under the radar for many people and it looks set to continue through 2021," Scott continued. So far this year, MicroStrategy has purchased about $500 million of bitcoin, doubling down on its bitcoin gamble last week and raising another $650 million to buy more bitcoin through a bond sale. Other companies have followed the lead of MicroStrategy and bitcoin has been called by a number of high-profile investors as a possible hedge against inflation they see on the horizon. Ray Dalio, the legendary billionaire founder and co-chairman of the world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, acknowledged earlier this month that bitcoin has now developed itself as a "alternative gold-like asset." Some seasoned bitcoin traders, however, gave potential bitcoin buyers words of alert. "Financial author and trading veteran Glen Goodman said via email, "History has a message for individuals buying at the latest all-time high. "While I'm hopeful about bitcoin's long-term prospects, we had a somewhat similar situation with bitcoin breaking new ground four years ago, but its price plunged by more than a third only two weeks later. Of course history does not always repeat itself but the lesson is to be on your guard. The market also offers hard lessons in modesty to those who risk so much is a sure thing about what they're told. "In recent weeks, some of the world's largest investors have been singing the praises of bitcoin. This means that bitcoin is already owned and aims to allow more individuals to purchase and raise the price upwards. Often 'whales' on Wall Street do this to sell their bitcoins at higher rates to the little guys.

Blockchain Although blockchain technologies are not all that fresh, a lot of buzz and chatter has been created in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space over the past year. The blistering investment demand for cryptocurrencies has given rise to much of the popular interest in blockchain technology. In December 2017, Bitcoin reached a record price of almost $20000 (before declining substantially just days later). The decline in crypto-currency markets did not lead to a decrease in technological growth. In the first quarter of 2018 alone, funding for initial coin offerings (ICOs) hit $6.3 billion. Despite the fall in public interest, technological progress has continued. This article will address four of the key concepts behind blockchain technology, whether you are interested in investing in cryptocurrencies or just want to understand how blockchains function. In order to be useful to most individuals, without being too detailed in terms of individual cryptocurrencies or technical information, we will provide a general overview. Between bitcoin and blockchain, which are connected yet very distinct concepts, it is essential to differentiate. Bitcoin is just one of several blockchain technology-based cryptocurrencies, although it is the cryptocurrency that has gained the most mainstream exposure and investment by far. Blockchain is a distributed ledger that makes and records transactions. Independent from any cryptocurrencies that use it we will address blockchain. 1. Distributed database Blockchain technology relies at its heart on the development of peer-to-peer distributed networks, which do not require transaction facilitation by a central authority. Network members, known as "peers," are able to connect and communicate directly with each other. On a continuous ledger, all of the transactions between peers are registered. - participant in the network retains its own separate and identical copy of this ledger. This means that the more redundant and more stable the ledger becomes the larger the number of peers participating in the network. Peer-to-peer distributed networks, with no central server or authority, are decentralized by nature. Blockchain records exist nowhere and all at once, indicating that they do not have a single flaw or vulnerability common in conventional databases. 2. Transaction speed Suppose you want to move money between your Wells Fargo and Bank of America bank accounts. This is far from an instantaneous operation, although the banks create the illusion. In order for the transaction to occur, it must be resolved and checked by all separate systems before it can go through. Usually, banks put temporary holds (visible and invisible) on your funds when making a transaction. In addition, the act of processing a transaction has an intrinsic expense because banks are for-profit companies, which can or may not be visibly passed on to the consumer in the form of a transaction fee. The decentralized design of the blockchain, on the other hand, provides a transparent ecosystem inside a single framework through which transactions can be processed without the need for third-party authority. In real time, peers can directly send transactions to other network peers, significantly increase processing speeds and reduce the risk of fraud. 3. Security and immutability Security is important due to the fact that blockchain ledgers are distributed among several different peers. Fortunately, with protection and consensus in mind, most blockchain networks have been developed from the ground up. While various blockchains address the issue of protection in various ways, the same general formula is used for most networks. In order to be connected to the current chain, the most recent transactions are packed into a 'block' that must be checked and approved by the network. When added, they are the basis for all subsequent blocks. Two key characteristics derive from the reliability of blockchain ledgers. First the stringent requirements and standards defined by the network can not be violated by new blocks. Second, it is difficult to alter or adjust previously agreed blocks, since this would break the consensus algorithms of the network and invalidate all subsequent blocks. In other terms in order to be resolved on the blockchain and accepted by the network, transactions need to be legitimate. Transactions are immutable and irreversible if present on the blockchain. 4. Trustlessness In order to accept it the cashier must have three levels of confidence when you write a bank check and use it at a store: Next the cashier must trust that you are not using a bogus check and that your checking account has enough funds. Second, the cashier must trust that the funds will be transferred as promised by the financial institution which issues the check. Third, the cashier must trust the government that issues the currency in which the check is written, trusting that it is worth the funds and that they can be spent. Because it has inherent fraud protection, the blockchain removes the need for peers on the network to trust each other. When the network finds that there are not enough funds to complete them, transactions cannot be made and reversed later on. Since the network knows each peer's balance in advance, it will not process or approve unsubstantiated transactions. Blockchains are "trustless" as a result. Participants need to have faith in the blockchain and its immutability, but trust between peers themselves does not actually need to exist in order for the network to operate. Blockchain technology is made possible by these four significant concepts. While these concepts make the blockchain highly appropriate for applications such as cryptocurrencies, they also offer a stable framework for a range of other cases of business usage. We assume that blockchain technology is incredibly exciting: it not only has the ability to simplify current systems, but also to generate new possibilities and inventions. As the frenzy around the cryptocurrency market subsides, we predict that companies in industries such as real estate, banking, healthcare and manufacturing will pay more attention to blockchain technology applications and capabilities.

Why Centralized Internet Sucks Multiple stuff, on many fronts. For example, 20 years ago, the few individuals who would read news online would go to the websites and blogs of their choosing directly. The material they read was under their influence. But now for most adults in the U.S., social media outlets like Facebook decide what news they can read, according to a Pew Research Center survey. Facebook currently has more than 2 billion active users per month. This makes Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of the company, the un-elected president of the world's largest country. Google, the undisputed ruler of web search, which processes more than 5 billion queries a day is another illustration. Its name has become a verb, literally. To answer their questions about everything, people trust it. This immense amount of power has made these corporations into information gatekeepers and we have to trust them to use their power equally and responsibly. For instance, if Zuckerberg chooses to turn evil and misuse his authority to send users false and deceptive content, there is practically nothing to stop him. Or if Google tries to manipulate search results to support its own bottom line to the detriment of its rivals, nothing can be done by others. Not all is that. There was a time when start-ups were able to change the technical environment and drive fresh ideas into space. In reality, according to this same theory, Google, Facebook and Amazon, still very young businesses, all rose to power and are now among the five largest tech companies and the most successful companies in the world. Their growth, however has made it more difficult to replicate their success. They must either embrace being acquired or endure a slow and humiliating death for other startups who dare to walk in the footsteps of Facebook, as the giant uses its user base and nearly infinite supply of cash to clone their features and steal their audience.

Beware of Scams “Beware of scam,” “do your own research,” “don’t put in more than you can afford to lose,” this is some of the most common advice given to new crypto investors. But how do you identify a scam and be sure you don’t lose your hard-earned cash to some pesky thief/hacker? Beware of scams, a common saying that often circulates around the crypto space. And yes, scams and con artists have been around forever. However, because of crypto’s novelty, crypto scams oofer a new chance for an old trick and sometime even an opportunity for investors to fall for a new trick as well. There are so many different types of crypto scams out there. Sources say that around 4.3 billion dollars was stolen in 2019 alone. So, crypto scams are definitely profitable for these con artist. From fake giveaway scams, to phishing, to impersonation, to ponzi schemes, there are a bunch of different scams out there. A super common scam known to many in the crypto world especially this year is the notorious **giveaway scam.** In this type of scam, a fraudster tries to dupe innocent victims into sending crypto with a promise that they’ll send multiple times the amount of crypto back for merely participating in the giveaway. For example, the fraud will say something like this, “any amount of btc sent to this address will be sent back double.” Scam are very effective, they’re some of the longest running scams in crypto world. Even though oftentimes they sound like broken English but they have a new generations pooping up every few years. Crypto twitter is a hotbed for these scams because of its massive reach. Not to mention, the last few years, twitter has been known as the most widely used social media platform amongst world leaders and scammer love this. They typically try to impersonate someone famous with deceptive techniques such as using the same profile pic of a verified account with a slight misspelling of the username. In 2018, scammers use this tactic to impersonate celebrities like Elon Musk, John McAfee, and Vitalik Buterin. In response to this scam, Vitalik changed his twitter handle to read: Vitalik “No I’m not giving away ETH” Buterin” and has only recently changed it back. Occasionally, the verified accounts will be hacked and used to perpetrate this scam. Probably one of the famous example happened earlier this year, when some of the world’s top a lister like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Kim Kardashian, Elon Musk, and Barack Obama had their personal twitter accounts hacked. The hacked account posted a message telling people to send btc to a specific address promising doubling the amount of btc to be sent back in return. Even though the scam was shut down very quickly, the scammers still nabbed over a hundred and twenty thousand dollar from their gullible victims. These giveaway scams have become less and less common on twitter because the social media platform really started to crack down on them. Unfortunately, that only means scammers have to adapt. And now, they are starting to make their way over on youtube, using videos of live stream or an interview with someone famous in the crypto world to lure victims to a website. The website has a wallet address and similar guarantee of the crypto being sent back doubled. While youtube has taken notes out of twitter’s playbook and started to crack down on these scams. It’s still critical that you know how to recognize these scams so you don’t end up losing your valuable crypto. **Phishing** is an old scam in the internet world. However, crypto is now a new breeding ground for this scam. Phishing is when a scammer tries to get personal information from you by disguising themselves as a legitimate third party. There can be multiple flavors of this one like phishing emails, text messages, even phishing websites. Most of the times, phishing websites are duplicates or close to duplicates at least of real websites that you know and are familiar with. You’ll login as if it were the real website and then the phony site will steal your login credentials and or install ransomware on your computer. Phishing emails and text messages, on the other hand, are messages sent by what like seem a company you know and trust but the email or text actually is trying to get you to give up your personal information or reply or trying to send you to a phishing website. Some of these fake texts and emails will give you a link that might trigger a virus to download. Always check the return address and or the url and make sure it’s legit and not a phishing scam. Another scam that you need to be on the lookout for is the **bogus investment scam**. These types of scams usually involve someone reaching out to you offering an amazing opportunity to invest in a crypto that’s gonna blow up in value and make the investor a boatload of money. These scams are very intricate because they employ a very personal technique to give the potential victims confidence in their investment. Sometimes, they will take the form of the long con, interacting with their mark for days, weeks, and sometimes months in order to gain their confidence get them to part with their hard-earned cash. While these types of scams are very common on platforms like telegram and instragram, these scammer are getting cleverer by the minute. Constantly looking for differently channels to use in order to lure their victims into their scam. The oldest types of crypto scams is the **ponzi scheme**. This is actually one of the oldest scams in general with the earliest recorded ponzi’s dating back in the late 1860’s in Germany and the United States. However, one of the most famous examples was perpetrated by Italian swindler Charles Ponzi in the 1920’2. So famous that it was forever named after him. The way that this works is actually simple, the scammer uses money from new investors to pay old investors. This helps to maintain the illusion of it being a legitimate investment and it can keep operating as long as there is a steady stream of new investors or that is until they get caught. Oftentimes, these investments will advertise a type of bonus or incentive for bringing in new investors. So the other common term for a ponzi scheme is called a pyramid scheme. Con artists have attempted thousands of notorious ponzi schemes throughout the history of the world. So there are numerous of examples to choose from. Of course in crypto, ponzi schemes leave a big impressions on everyone, from the infamous moment with the bitcoin dude all the way to the multi-billion dollar Bulgarian behemoth one coin. **Obvious red flags or signs that the investment is a scam** The person of company contacts you out of the blue. This can be thru messages on social media, an email, or even a text or call to your cellphone. With all the data breaches of major corporations, you’d be surprised how easy it is to get your personal info on the dark web. Even more, recently the scammers are impersonating a crypto vlogger and directly contacting people who are subscribed to his social media channels offering to help them manage their crypto for the most gains. Oftentimes, scammers try to pressure you to make a rushed and rash decision. This pressure typically is in the form of some kind of special limited time offer or rapidly approaching deadline for a discount or sign up bonus. Scammer will sometimes ask you to keep the investment a secret. They will likely tell you that the amazing investment opportunity is for you alone and that if too many people will know then the investment will somehow lose value. The biggest red flag of all is that the investment seems too good to be true. The old saying is still around for a reason because it’s usually correct. When something too good to be true, it usually is. Many times this means that they make the investment seem to have an extremely low risk but on an incredibly high return which is the gold standard for a scam.

Analyzing Chart: Bullish or Bearish? Cryptocurrencies are known as an asset with high volatility which might be a good or bad thing depending on who you ask as it means high risk reward. As a result bullish and bearish have become some of the most common terms to describe market trends. To traders, acquiring the ability to analyze these two states is a survival skill to predict future scenarios to gain or protect their funds. Will the market swipe downward with its claws or thrust its horns upwards? Let’s talk about what bull and bear market are and which one is more favorable for trading. The two terms are very popular when looking at price charts, where an uptrend is known as a bull market and a downtrend as a bear market. The bear swipes downwards while the bull thrust upwards. These two trends are an essential part of technical analysis. In this technique, crypto traders will watch the price developments throughout a period then based on the historical data, make judgments and predictions about possible upcoming adjustments in the short term, medium or long-term. In the basic understanding, there are three main types of trends in the price charts 1. **Uptrend** - getting higher 2. **Downtrend** – getting lower 3. **Sideways trend** – the price hovers around a level without a big change The average trend in the market will be what is used to talk about a bearish or bullish market. In the charts, the bullish trends are usually displayed in green while the bearish are in red. Professional traders often define a bull market as a rise of over 20 percent in the price occurring between two declines of 20 percent. While on the other hand, a bear market is a situation where a decrease of more than 20 percent takes place after a rise of 20 percent and before another 20 percent rise. Speaking of bull and bear, there is a fundamental rule: **a bullish trend is a sign of buying as you may want to pick up more while a bearish trends blows a stop whistle giving you a warning for selling before the market falls.** Resistance and Support Resistance refers to a level at which a bullish trend is expected to bounce and the support level is aligned where bearish trends are projected to halt. These two indicators are demonstrated by flat lines in the chart and are important for you to recognize remarkable points throughout the price movements. Candlesticks There are several common scenarios that candlesticks can describe depending on its type. **Bullish trends candlestick** 1. The hammer type with a green bowl on the top of the line indicating the market is moving down sharply before recovering at the close 2. The inverted hammer stick with a bowl sticking to the bottom of the line while implies that the price underwent both an uptrend and a downtrend in one session and now just began to move up a bit **Bearish trends candlestick** 1. A bear on the top is called a hanging man which happens when a recession is starting to take place after the price rose to the highest point in the session 2. Shooting star candlestick is a bear lying in the bottom showing a severe decline to a lower point compared with the opening price Head and Shoulder and the reverse Head and Shoulder A head and shoulder scenario shows a pattern in which a bullish trend is turning bearish. It resemble a big head and two shoulders on the head sides with the peaks lower than the highest point of the head. It indicates a big slump might be following. The red flat line known as the neckline is the final call for selling on the other hand, the reverse head and shoulder patter gives us a forecast for an uptrend with the neckline being the signal to buy Ascending and descending triangles An ascending triangle is commonly used to illustrate a bullish trend where the resistance level and the higher loads meet up at the breakthrough point which is a signal to buy. Conversely, a descending triangle indicates a downtrend in which the lower high in the support line are connected at the breakthrough point signaling to sell. Bull flag/Bear flag A bull flag resembles a flag on a pole representing a rally in the price. In this patter, the sharp rise is pointed out by the pole which will possibly be followed by a bullish breakout. In contrast, a bear flag indicates a drastic drop in the price and the pole highlights the mark where the price is consolidated. After that, a bearish breakout will burst out and you might want to sell your crypto as soon as possible. If you want to get in into trading, this strategies or patterns can help you out. Though it’s not guaranteed a 100 percent but with proper research and a little luck, I know you can make it. And one more thing, this is just the peak of an iceberg. As you go deeper you’ll discover more about analyzing bullish and bearish crypto markets. Good luck!

Bitcoin is not Bitcoin, BCH is Just to share. Today, I just found out that 3 of my software wallets have bitcoins in it. But wait, let me create an excitement first. My bitcoin amount when converted to US dollar is just cents. 😅 The three wallets when added will have a total of 4$. So here is the problem, I can't transfer it to just one address because of the high bitcoin transaction fee. I knew that this is just a small amount, but well as the saying goes, "You can't have a dollar without a penny." I can't use that small amount of bitcoin to perform any king of transaction. I can't even buy 1 candy from it. So it is useless! This is one of the reason I don't consider bitcoin, the true bitcoon. Slow transaction, higher fee, etc. In the bitcoin whitepaper of Satoshi Nakamoto, correct me if im wrong, it is said that the purpose of bitcoin is to be a peer-to-peer electronic cash system. It is decentralized, meaning no one has the power over it. No third party involved. But, how will it be a peer-to-peer payment system if you need to have a huge amount of bitcoin before you can transact. And I think that Nakamoto made this decentalized to cut down the cost of transaction, to benefit the people even the poor. Is bitcoin only for the rich? While on the other hand, check out what bitcoin cash does You can see that it can be sent no matter how little the amount is. I knew that some people here are still wishing to have 1btc, half or even a quarter. But, I'm telling you, in the long run that coin will be useless at all. So better choose a coin (Bitcoin Cash), that is more beneficial to all of us. Even the poorest of the poor can use. This is just my own opinion. No one is involved.

Bitcoin Fee Why are there bitcoin fees? And how much do you pay so it may transact faster? This are some of the questions that will be explained here in this article. Bitcoin fee **Bitcoin fees** are **payments for bitcoin miners** for processing a transaction. Understanding how bitcoin transaction works When you are transferring a fund to another bitcoin address, **the first step is transaction verification**. It means the transaction is checked in the network by all the computer that holds the bitcoin blockchain for validity. **After validation, the transaction goes to the mempool**. It serves as a waiting room for unconfirmed transaction. **When miners pick it up to be packed and successfully included it in a mined block, the transaction becomes a confirmed transaction and the transferring of funds is complete.** Take note of this, a block has a limited size so it can hold a small amount of transactions. Miners prioritize this transactions according to the fees attached to it. Fees are a way of telling the miners how urgent your transaction is. So if you want your transaction to be faster, you can attach a higher fee. Calculating Fees Calculating fees is complicated! Every transaction has a size. Since miners wants to maximize their profit, they prioritize transaction with a larger fee to a text size-fee ratio often called as feerate. When buying a house, the cost will be computed as cost per squarefoot. Now, feerate is computed as satoshi per byte. Calculating text size A transaction size depends on different factors. Number of inputs - the more inputs you transacts the bigger the text size. When you acquired 1 btc to a different sources and transferred the whole btc, it will include all the inputs on how you acquired that 1 btc. Number of outputs - this are the numbers of addresses your paying to. (I'm gonna explain this on other article 😁) Script complexity - some transaction requires special features that increase the text size I know it is hard to compute this by your own but no worries, your bitcoin address will be the one to compute this for you based on average fee rate. Reducing Fees For all you knew, reducing fee is very comfortable for the eyes. Lower fee means less money will be lost. Here are somr tips to reduce fee: Avoiding rush hour - when bitcoin network is congested with transactions it is for sure feerate is high Use wallet that has segwit - a program that reduced your transaction into smaller files Input grouping - consolidating all inputs makes lower fee transactions Output grouping - if your wallet support this, your in luck. This groups all payments into one transaction that will reduce fees Wallets and fees Wallets suggest a reasonable fee based on the current fee rate and activity in the bitcoin network. Some wallets makes you configure the setting into slow, average and fast fee rate. It will depends into you if you want your transactions to be slower and faster. Stuck Transactions Fee is to low - remember miners prioritize transactions with higher fees and depends in the congestion of the bitcoin network Sending unconfirmed funds Fee troubleshooting Here are tips when you encounter stuck transactions Wait - if your transactions is not that urgent just wait it out. RBF - rebroadcasting your transaction in the bitcoin network with higher fees Transaction accelerators - you can request mining pools to do your transactions. (Feels like bribery 😅) Conclusion Bitcoin fees all depends in the miners and how busy the bitcoin network is. The more you want the transaction to be faster, the more you need to pay. ***"There's no art where there's no fee" - Aristophanes***

My Life as a Nurse: Covid-19 Hello everyone! I am an emergency nurse here in the Philippines. I've been registered as a licensed nurse since 2015. I've been working on a tertiary public hospital since then. Btw, if you happened to stumble upon this article and find it interesting, **please consider liking and subscribing**. That will be a huge boost for me to continue writing. **My Life as a Nurse: Covid19** Even before this pandemic breaks out, i've encountered so many difficulties in our line of work. The overwhelming numbers of patients, lack of manpower, deficient infrastructures, lack of equipments and many more. On march 7, 2020, the first case of covid19 local transmission was confirmed in the Philippines. After hearing the news, me and my other colleagues began to worried. Is our hospital prepared? Are the government prepared? Are we prepared? Those questions began to arise. All hospitals and the government began preparing for a battle to an enemy that we can't see. We began wearing personal protective equipments when handling patients. Physical barriers were installed. Wearing mask and social distancing signs are placed in every corner of the hospitals. Our 8 hours shifts then turned into 12 hours shifts. When we say we are exhausted, you should believe it. Imagine wearing a full body suit protective equipments for 12 hours. It is very uncomfortable and hot. Sweats dripping, under clothes are soaked but we can't changed until the shift is done because we are saving the small amount of ppe's. On May 15, 2020, out first confirmed case in our own hospital. Many employees have been frightened that they ended giving up their jobs. I became afraid too, but i can't afford to lose my job. How can i feed my wife and daughter if i resigned? Guidelines were sent by the Department of Health to serve us to identify person who will be tagged as covid19 suspects. If one of the commmon symptoms of covid19 is present in a patient and he/she came from a place with covid19, you will be automatically tagged as covid19 suspect and will be quarantined. Covid19 symptoms are cough, cold, sore throat, shortness of breath and muscle aches. I started living until now in a shelter provided by the hospital to prevent me from carrying back home the virus if i get infected by one. For almost 7 months, I can't even hug my wife and daughter. I still visited them once a month but i can't approach them. Imagine the pain i am feeling everytime that my daughter was calling me and all i can do is wave at her. Days passed, the number of covid19 is growing more and more. Our hospital now is being overwhelmed. Hospital beds are fully occupied. One time, there was a covid19 positive that came into our hospital and demanding to be admitted. But there is no available room. He got angry with us and started saying things like we are useless. Why is this? Do we deserve to shouted? Are we the one to blame if there is no vacancy? Our hospital is the center for covid19 referrals in the whole province. So being fully occupied is not a question. So please bear with us. A little understanding is all we want. When will this pandemic end? Oh please, I wanna go home. I want to hug and kiss my wife and daughter. We need your help. We are here still fighting. Please practice proper hygiene and social distancing. Don't go out of your house if its not that important. This is not an article just to rant of how we are not compensated well or how we are exhausted. This is an article to show our dedication in our work. We are still humans, we have our emotions. Just a little bit of appreciation is enough and sympathy is all we need. To my fellow nurse, "While we may not receive rewards, we are our patients' heroes, that makes us a hero in our nation". I salute all of us!

Forks! According to Roger Ver on his tweet, Bitcoin Cash will have a fork on November 15, 2020. This will be the second one since **Craig Wright** and **Calvin Ayre** created **bitcoin** **SV** in **November 2018.** So what is forking? Can we profit from it? Is it dangerous? Can we get actual money from it? **Before you start reading this article please consider subscribing. This will mean a lot to me. Thank you! Hope you will enjoy this one.** **What is fork?** A **fork** is basically an alteration of the correct bitcoin code or protocol. In other words, someone is changing the rules. Imagine you are playing a game with others and then someone says "lets change the rules". Normally for the game to ramin intact, everyone needs to approve of the rules being changed. If that happen, the change will be implemented and everything will continue as normal. If there is large consensus about changing the rule of the game, then 2 versions of the game will be created. One with original rules and the another with the new rules. In other words, there is a fork in the game. Similar on the fork in the road. The same goes to bitcoin code. Generally speaking, when a fork happened, you will have the original bitcoin and a new bitcoin. Example: bitcoin cash changed the size of the block from 1mb to 8mb, so more transactions can be processed within the block. Therefore, there are some people who supports this new token called bitcoin cash and other people who stays to the original bitcoin. All forks are created not equal. There are **soft forks and hard forks.** **Soft forks** allow the new version play well along the original features **Hard forks** don't allow features by the original and create a total different coin. **Importance of Forks**. **First**, you might want to switch over to the new rules and use the new because you think that it is better than using the original one. **Second**, the fork can have an imoact to the bitcoin community, bitcoins adoption and even bitcoin price. **Finally**, making a profit by selling the new coins. Imagine you have accumulated a high amount of points, now, someone wants to change the rules but you don't want to lose your points. So the new game will start in a point with the same points you accumulated. When a fork occurs, anyone holding any amount of bitcoin can get the same amoubt of the new currency. But this situation doesn't automatically happens everytime but you do need to claim that coins. Every coins has a different claiming mechanism. Once you claimed the new coin, you will decide if you will hold them or sell them. **Why fork occurs?** When forking trends started with bicoin cash, it seems that forking is a legitimate way of expressing discontent on the road the bitcoin is taking. But since then, all the forks have the same main reason. The main reason is much more on a marketing gimmick than an actual ideology. In other words, if someone thinks that they can create new better one than bitcoin, they can create a brand new altcoin, there is no need to create a bitcoin clone. The developers seemscto decide to fork bitcoin in three main reason. **Marketing Buzz** - bitcoin forks is the new ICOs. Everyone is looking for a free coin so people are actively looking for information about them **Quick money for the devs** - some of the fork are not the copy of bitcoin history. The new set of rules gives the developers a large amount of the new coins than they can sell it to the market once the coins starts to trade **Scams** - scams can be created in a form of fork. They can stole your true bitcoin in the process of its claiming mechanism **How to safely claim coins in a fork?** Educate yourself about the project - research everything about the fork. Check who are the developers, what their track records, how far are they in their road map, what are other publication have written about them. If it makes sense to you, then perhaps the fork is indeed legit. I hope this article gives you an idea what forks are and how they work as well as it benefits and potential problems. So what do you think what will happen on bitcoin cash when the fork happens on November 15? Any question or suggestion, please leave a comment below

When to Best Buy Crypto? My Perspective Buying and selling is the two most fundamental activities in Crypto. Cashlete profits and losses are generated based on buying and selling. It is a common understanding that you can buy or even sell except in the case of contract options. **So when is the best time to buy Crypto? When you should or not enter the market?** Welcome to my article! Btw, i am Serg, a Filipino nurse who is interested in cryptocurrencies. **If you hadn't subscribe to me yet. Please click the subscribe button on my profile.** Lets begin... So before buying anything on Crypto, you should consider your everything on you **financial life.** You should know what you have, what you want and what you are aiming for. Lets go deeper in the crypto world to discover when you should buying crypto making the best out of trading. First of all, **review your porfolio** or the expected crypto you intend to invest in. Besides the popular bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash or tron, there are bunch of others which each one has a unique characteristics. You should also **check your wallet.** How to know how big is your budget is and wether to fish in the token you think will be much appreciated. **Don't forget to do your own homework.** Conducting market analysis and comprehending what is going on just to be aware. Are we on an uptrend or downtrend? Will it continue to fall or are traders rushing to buy or sell? If you don't have any idea on this, better subscribe to me, i'm gonna create an article regarding this in the future. **As long as you don't have the grasp of the market movement, i highly recommend not to buy anything.** Now lets move on to some central rule in buying Crypto. The first tip that you should keep in your head is to **buy low, sell high**. Contradicting what normal people do, they purchase when they see the market going up and thinking its a signal of rallying up and it will never stop. **Control your fomo**. As a crypto trader, you are buying the dip, that means you buy more products when the market is bearish or prices is down. Not only its widen the problem margin but also helps to prevent sucking in into the bubble. The best moment to enter a downtrend in is when it hits the bottom and rebound, this will be the perfect time to buy. To be honest, it is not easy to precisely forecast when the market is at the lowest level. Ine trick is to focus on the supportline and the moving average. This supportlines demonstrates the price at which the bear is expected to stop and recover. Thus, if you see the price is about to plunge below the support level, it might be the signal to purchase. Similarly, the moving average visually connects the price trend through average historical prices. Based on that, traders can watch the movement of the current market price. **Don't let your fomo or the fear of missing out deceive you**. Have you heard about this? It is the effect of crowd psychology which makes you feel like you're going to lose if you don't follow the tendency of the group or community. That explains why many people rush into buying stuff when their price is keep climbing the ladder because they think the trend will continue and they will miss the opportunity. Same with the price drops. Everyone is hastily to sell out their funds, as they fear a worse breakdown. But in reality, its their reactions that drop the market even lower. People think this way: Everybody's doing it, so if i do exactly the same, there'll be no problems. Like what the? In fact, it completely goes against our rule number one, to buy lower, sell higher. Therefore, **always maintain a cool head** . Don't let yourself be overwhelmed by your emotions Beside FOMO, another enemy of buying is **FUD which stands for fear, uncertainty and doubt.** While FOMO pushes people to follow others, FUD spreads misinformation to collapse the confidence in the crypto market so that the traders will hesitate to buy and are encouraged to sell all their coins. **Why is somebody even tempted to do so?** Because those scammers are hot to collect a large portion at the cheapest price. Then they will sell it to a higher price and make some sweet profits. Traders who sold will easily fall in the trap and buy their abandoned crypto at a higher price. Thus, raising your defenses and not letting this crooks slip their hands in your pocket. **So which days of the week would be most helpful to place a purchase?** Based on my research, let me repeat twice, **BASED ON MY OWN RESEARCH**, even though the market is open for 24/7, studies on oast statistics show that **Monday** is when the demand and the price are most likely to slow down. This will not be exactly 100% but data points out that this pattern has taken place many times before. So i think you should really consider this hint and turn it into motivation for the next week. **Which days of the month is not a favorable for buying?** Its quite obvious, its **payday**. Its the day peoole receive their salaries if they are up working not lazyibg around. With more power and demand and buying power the price could kick up. So i recommend not to buy crypto on paydays. **Commitments about Trader Reports w**hich is published each Friday by the Commodity Future Tradings Commission or CFTC. It combines and updates the latest change in market price, positions, volumes and provide snapshots of projections for the upcoming week. Since its first publication on December 2017, the CFTC became a significant and reliable forecaster for uncountable traders who are looking for entry times. The other one that worth a try is the **text and data mining analysis software** to digest market metrics, get a solid result of price predictions. So, there are are some tips and rules when entering the market or buying cryptos. But, no matter what, always remeber that cryptos are volatile. Hence, those tactics might just be the tip on iceberg to become an aspiring trader. I do hope this guides, hints will help you in your future trading. How about you? What do you think is the best time to buy crypto? Leave a comment below.

Bitcoin Cash: for Beginners like me As i've read and studied some articles about read.cash, you can be rewarded by therandomrewarder. This rewards can be converted to bitcoin cash and can be withdrawn. So since we are talking about bitcoin cash, i tried to study and learn about bitcoin cash. And here is what i found out. Btw, i'm **Serg** from the country Philippines. If you happened to stumble upon my articles and feel like its worth it. **Please consider subscribing**. **What is Bitcoin Cash?** Bitcoin cash is hard fork of bitcoin. **Fork** is an alternate version of an original coin. I'm gonna write about forks on my next article. **So why it is created?** Before answering that, let us learn first about the most controversial topic in the bitcoin code. The block size and scalability issue. **The block size issue** Bitcon transactions don't get confirmed easily. In order for a transactions to be confirmed, it needs to be included to be part of a block of transactions in the bitcoin ledger known as the **blockchain.** A new block of transaction is added into a blockchain in an average about 10 minutes. Adding bitcoin transactions to a block needs storage space and the maximum capacity of a block is 1mb. An average transaction size is about 370kb, so an average transaction of a block can hold is 2700. **Scalability issue** 27oo transaction per minute is 4.6 transactions per second. This means when a lot of people wants to send bitcoin during a price rally, transactions gets stuck in a very long queue waiting to enter a block to be confirmed. Bitcoin allows you to enter immediately the block by paying higher fee. Because of the scalabilty issues, two different camps emerge. **Bigblockers (BITMAIN and Roger Ver)** With long confirmation and higher fees, bigblockers were afraid that this issue would prevent bitcoin from becoming what **Satoshi Nakamoto (bitcoin inventor)** initially intended, a peer-to-peer payment system. The supporters of this camp suggested to increase the block size. So if we increase the bitcoin block size to 8mb, it can confirm 8x as many transactions per second. This will reduce the congestion in the bitcoin blockchain. **Smallblockers** The opposing camp wanted to keep the block size while finding a solution optimizing transaction size and handling in order to unabling scaling. One solution that si proposed is **segregated witness (SegWit)**. SegWit is an upgrade bitcoin protocol which among other things reduces the transaction size by 75%. This means that 1mb SegWit block can hold the same transaction with the non SegWit block. They also proposed the develipment of **lightning network**, a second layer on top of the bitcoin protocol that allows instant and feeless transactions. I will create an article to further discuss lightning network Smallblockers are against in increasing the block size because they firmly believe that in the long run, it will hurt bitcoins decentralization and functionality. They believe that a 8mb or 32mb block will travel slowly to the network than 1mb block. Once the block reaches a computer in the network, that computer needs to verify all the transactions in that block. If the block is too big, it may not able to finish verifying all the transactions before the next block arrives. This may cause lagging of the network that could lead to dispute in the bitcoin ledger. Oversized blocks reduces the number of participants in the network. If only a handful big companies can validate all the transactions with high end computers. We are taking away bitcoin advantage that is to have a large amount of participants to make sure no one is breakibg the rules. The arguments lasted for years until the **August 2017** wherein bitcoin is making its first step over the $12,000 mark and the network is being crowded due to an overflow of transactions. This results in the delay of transactions and high fees where people started to out bid others to cut in line to be confirmed faster. The end result of the two camps in the block size debate is they did what they initially had to do leaving to the **users to decide which coin to adopt as the true bitcoin.** In August 1st, 2017, smallblockers activated SegWit on its original bitcoin protocol while bigblocker created **bitcoin cash**, a bitcoin fork with an 8mb block size. Initially it is unclear which bitcoin will win wherein winning in cryptocurrency terms having a longer block chain or ledger transactions. More miners means more computational power and more computational power means longer and more robust blockchain Bitcoin cash had support from the bitcoin giant BITMAIN and as a result, the original bitcoin hashing power was cut nearly in half when the fork occured. However, when the dust settled it became clear that the original bitcoin remains strong even after the fork. Since the fork, bitcoin cash remained on the top of the cryptocurrency chart. The coin is backed mainly by Roger Ver, a liberitarian who allegedly owns around 100000 bitcoin. **Bitcoin VS Bitcoin Cash** Bitcoin cash is likely similar to bitcoin but with some exceptions. First, its block size is bigger. When it first started out, it has a size of 8mb block. Later on it went on an update and its block size limit increased to 32mb. In practice, bitcoin cash isn't as popular as bitcoin and its blocks really surpassed the 1mb size of transactions. Second, it does not support lightning network. Finally, bitcoin cash adjusted its mining difficulty for minig new blocks quickly than the original bitcoin. **Bitcoin Cash own hard fork** In **November 2018,** bitcoin cash went to its own hard fork. This time the two camps where the original bitcoin cash (abc) and sv (satoshis vision). **Bitcoin abc** was led by **Roger Ver and Bitmain** and **SV** was led by **Craig Wright**, previously claimed as Satoshi Nakamoto but never supplied ample proof and **Calvin Ayre**, who owns the largest bitcoin cash mining pool, coingeek. There are two differences between the bitcoin cash version. Bitcoin abc remains its block size to 32mb and bitcoin SV increase its block size to 128mb. Bitcoin abc added a smart contract functionality into its code while bitcoin SV choose not to accept this change. This November 2020, a new hard fork in bitcoin cash will commence. What will happen? Nobody still knows. Bitcoin cash is a hard fork of bitcoin. It was created to increase the block size of transactions for faster transactions and lower fees. Any suggestions or reaction, please leave a comment. I will try as hard as i could to answer all of it. Good night everyone!

A Warm Welcome Please! Hello everyone! How are you today? I am Serg Palac, 31 years of age from the country Philippines. I am married to my beautiful wife Dyan for 4 years and had a loving 3 year old daughter, Reva. Supporting them and giving what they want is my goal in life. I work as an Emergency Nurse (job order) in a public hospital setting for almost 6 years now. Being a nurse here in the Philippines don't give quite a good support financially, especially if you are not a regular employee. Me as a job order don't get extra bonuses like 13th month pay, overtime pay, clothing allowance, sick leave, vacation leave and many more. Sad but true... I became interested in cryptocurrencies later this year when corona virus hits our country. Many people are posting on social media platform about it. So i've tried to research about cryptocurrency then maybe i can get some extra bucks to save for emergency purposes. When i was young i love to write articles about animals and plants but started to stop when i was in my college years until now. So when i came across an article about Read.cash and said that you can earn by writing articles, i think, maybe this is a great opportunity for me to continue my writing skill and earn some even a little to save for future purposes. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. I decided to write articles about health because i am a nurse and articles about what i've learned about cryptocurrencies. So maybe now and then you can see some of my work. Hope i can get a warm welcome with you guys. I promise that i will work hard on writing a good and informative contents. Thank you in advance everyone! Have a good day ahead! Lead image is downloaded at https://unsplash.com/photos/m0hz75hjXEo and was edited by me. 😊
