Actual Trends on World Financial System
Technology has greatly shaped the world towards an era of digitized systems. In the financial world, technology is revolutionizing banks and financial institutions on how they interact with their clients and do their business transactions. The financial system right now is being driven by new technologies which will provide new experience of convenience and security to everyone.
Instant transfer of money, online transactions, virtual currencies, and innovative financial instruments are coming into light in the wake of the new era with the technologies being developed right now. The focus of financial institutions is shifting from regulatory environments, return on equity, economic uncertainties, and financial control towards artificial intelligence, kiosk hub, cryptocurrencies, digital security and customer service. Gone are the days where banks and financial institutions are limited with the brick and mortar setup. They are now evolving even in their existential form such as banks that don’t have any physical place but operate primarily online.
The four trends which include artificial intelligence, online banking, blockchain, and digital security are currently shaping up the future of the financial system. These trends will be very disruptive and will change how everyone interacts and do business with each other.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is now being used by banks and financial institutions in providing better and more personalized customer service to its clients. Because A.I. records and analyzed customers information and past transactions, they provide a more personalized services that a human person in customer support can’t possibly topple with. In addition, A.I. is also available all day long so customers now can voice up their concern to the banks if issues arise during their transaction. In comparison customer support that is operated by humans is only available on selected time. On top of that, using A.I. lowers cost for financial institutions since human labor decreases and errors caused by human mistakes are lessen. Through the help of A.I. and machine learning, Banks and financial institutions today can now streamline their operations with ease as everything is now coordinated by a system.
Despite the benefits of using A.I. it still poses some risk especially for customers. Privacy for customers can be violated since these AI can look through personal electronic data unnoticed. Job loss is also another concern as it can replace those jobs that have repetitive tasks. It is expected that millions of people will lose their jobs in the coming years as AI is used to other business areas.
Online banking is also getting popular as people today preferred to do most transactions through the internet. This is because it offers much more convenience than personally going to the physical locations of these banks. It saves time for their clients and for the banks which then save cost. Operating online also gives more visibility compared to physical places because most people in this era spend more time on the internet than going outside.
As competition between banks and financial institutions increases, mobile banking is now being added to the features that these institutions offer in order to compete better in the global market. Different banking transactions are now done in the palm of our hands which provide even more accessibility to everyone to be involved in the financial system. With the integration of banking to mobile apps, surely banks will become even more relevant in the coming years.
Blockchain is an open ledger that is known for being resistant to modification of data. It is used in cryptocurrencies to easily transfer crypto coins from person to person. Some banks are now taking advantage of blockchain technology in order to provide a reliable alternative way of money transfer. It also offers added security for them to store money digitally since blockchain is resistant to fraud and hacking.
As banks move to digital space, it becomes more susceptible to hackers’ attacks. Which is why banks and financial institutions are now giving more emphasis to cyber security to protect their clients’ assets that are digitally stored. This save cost for them for any legal issues that may arise when a cyber hacking happens. It also helps them in gaining the trust of their clients by marketing the reliability of their cyber security.
These trends will inherently change the financial system we know as it anchors to the digital world. The banks and financial institutions in this technologically advanced future will need to adjust their ability to reinvent themselves with speed and agility, and their future plans to navigate the next transition.

The Portal
I’m so stressed yesterday that I decided to draw something calming.
I first thought of a morning sunshine, but I can’t think of any scene to draw with that. Then a sunset came into my mind. It was unsuccessful. I feel more stress rubbing that orange color to the sky. I scrap that artwork. I then go with a starry night sky. LOLs, from morning to afternoon to evening. I been noticing that most of my recent subjects in my artworks are nature. Maybe I been stressing out because I can’t go out because of the pandemic which is why I turn to arts to at least experience going out. I feel suffocated in this house right now. Like the walls are getting nearer each day. Like it became a prison rather than a home. There’s not nothing we can do with that. I mean go out and then you risk yourself of getting the virus. It is better to stay here in our house than to experience hell with that virus. Anyways, I hope things to go back to normal because things became really unstable these past few weeks. Politicians going for each other throat, the economy going down, a lot of people losing jobs, racism, protests, number of positive cases going up and more.
So much for that. Let’s enjoy the starry sky with this portal. Hahaha. (I’m so lame).
Software used: **Corel painter**
Brush tools used: **Mechanical pen, 6B pencil, 2H pencil, acrylic brush, and watercolor brush.**
**Here’s the process:**
**1.) Sketch it out. I decided for a portal themed artwork. (I don’t why).**
**2.) After that, I traced the lines of the mountains using a mechanical pen brush tool.**
**3.) Then the pinecone trees. Looking good so far. LOLs.**
**4.) The night sky is next. I first used an acrylic brush tool here. I find the watercolor brush tool in painter to be lacking when it comes to coloring. I also used a light green color around the mountains. It went okay so far.**
**5.) Smooth it up.**
**6.) Then covered it up with a watercolor brush tool to have that texture**.
**7.) Used a pointed acrylic brush tool for the stars.**
**8.) Put the a unperfect circle. Fixed some things.**
**Finished!!**

Watercolor experiment using corel painter
Today, I want to create a psychedelic effect using the watercolor brush in corel.
If you don’t know, psychedelic art movement have been here since 1960s. It features a mind-boggling effect to the viewers especially when you stare at it for a long time. Such art made great used of bright colors, distorted shapes, and spectrums to have that mind manifesting effect.
My main subject for this artwork today is a tree. Trees has always been associated with wisdom or the mind. I thought this would be a great subject to create a psychedelic effect with because of such association. This was also inspired by the tree in front of our house. I was always stare at it during my free time and sometimes I always feel like it stares back at me. As it was trying to know what I was thinking. Anyways, I thought it would be a great subject in an art.
Here the process:
**1.) I first sketch out the base- the trunk of the tree.**
**2.) After that, I went for the leaves. I didn’t do much detailed with the leaves since I was expecting some adjustments when coloring it out.**
**3.) Then, I proceeded to coloring it out using a watercolor brush. Again, I first went on the trunk of the tree. Use a black and brown color for that trunk. I made the color black dominating to highlight shadows.**
**4.) Next is the leaves. I colored the base of the leaves dark green for the shadows.**
**5.) I used a light green color around the base of the leaves. I removed the sketches here for you to see it shape.**
**6.) To have that psychedelic effect, I mixed a blue and reddish coloring to its leaves.**
**7.) I put some watercolor splash down the bottom.**
**8. Lastly, I put a light coloring around the leaves to bring out its psychedelic effect.**

Mountain ranges (Sunset) artwork
Sunset always have a nice calming effect to everyone. The orange and reddish color in the sky bring new promises to everyone that tomorrow’s day will going to be worth it. It’s nice to sacrifice a little bit of your time to watch the sunset every day.
One of the most awesome places to see the sunset is a top of a mountain. There you could actually see the whole sky before nighttime. Combine with cold breeze and beautiful scenery, you’ll definitely going to love nature once you see it.
Today’s artwork was inspired by that. Mountain ranges and sunset. A perfect combination for me. Anyways, there’s a lot of problem with this artwork, especially with the lighting. I guess I could do a lot of practice to be more proficient with that.
Software: **Corel Painter**
Brush Used: **Acrylic Brush**
**Blending tool**
Here’s the process
**1.) Sketch out the details. (LOL, I already started coloring with this one. Sorry)**
**2.) I divided the mountains into three layers to prevent mixing of colors. This is the first one.**
**3.) Coloring the first layer. (I should have used an airbrush to have a nice touch of colors.)**
**4.) Done with the first layer. Now onto the second layer.**
**5.) Done! Now for the third layer, that big mountain at the back.**
**6.) I tried to be more detailed with this one.**
**7.) Used a blending tool to have a smooth finish.**
**8.) Next, the sunset. We need to create an orange gradient here.**
**9.) I have to used different set of oranges here. Some are lighter and some are darker.**
**10.) Finished!**

It’s rabbit time!
Do you have a rabbit pet in your home? Well, I had one back in the days, but things didn’t turn out the right way, so I had to give them to someone who will take care of them better than me. Since I been thinking about them, I decided to do some artwork about rabbits. I also planned to experiment with the silhouette effect. I put a moon in the artwork because it works best when it comes to silhouette subject. I also did this during night time so the inspiration is partly because of that,
Software tool: **Corel painter**
Brushes used: **Acrylic and watercolor brush**
Here's the process:
**1. Sketch out the details.**
**2, Coloring the night sky using acrylic brush.**
**3. Now we’re half way done with that night sky.**
**4. Done! Now I added a new layer for the rabbits.**
**5. Coloring the grassland using watercolor brush.**
**6. Then the rabbits.**
**7. Next is to add some watercolor effects to the night sky so that it would not look too dull. Sadly, during this part, electricity suddenly went out, so I have to redo all the steps. Because of that, the finish artwork has some slight differences from this.**
**8. Done!**
I’m planning to add yellowish color to the moon to make it more magical, so I’ll update this post when I’m done with that.

Watercoloring: failed attempt
Today I tried to use the watercolor brush in corel painter to experiment something new. It was a fun experience. The corel painter does a great job in mimicking the looks of a real watercolor but it failed in some aspects of it. The brush strokes is difficult to control because of that variation style is limited. Another, the color sometimes does not match what a real watercolor would look like.
I painted three different sceneries today. Morning, noon and night was supposed to be the theme, but the noon time looks afternoon in my artwork. I also had difficulty in using watercolor brush so I switched to airbrush to have the right color balance. Here’s the process!
1. First, I made three rectangular boxes that will house the sceneries. I did not cared about the proportion and measurements in here.
2. I started with the left one. I had difficult in creating the clouds with the watercolor brush tool.
3. Not satisfied with this one.
4. I used an airbrush for the second box since I was not happy with the first one.
5. I used a blending tool to mix the colors.
6. I used a watercolor brush in the lower portion. I also redo the first one using airbrush tool.
7. Now for the last part.
8. Had a difficulty with that night sky.
9. Finish!!

To the moon!! Part 2
Seaweed King is back again for more Moon artwork.
I decided that today’s artwork theme will be moon again since the moon shines beautifully tonight. It yellowish radiance looks very lovely. So with that in mind, I want to capture the radiance of the moon tonight. As always, I used a corel painter. The tool brush I used is acrylic I also used air brush to have this cloudy effect around the moon. Here are the step by step procedure.
**1. I first sketched the scene, though it is not a detailed sketch.**
**2. Then I painted the canvas dark blue to represent the night sky. I have doubts with the color here. I first colored it black, but then night sky would look very dull, so I switched it to dark blue to make it more alive.**
**3. Here comes the moon….**
**4. I added some clouds, though it looks ugly. I’m still practicing with the clouds so forgive me.**
**5. I wanna see some starssss!!**
**6. I added some mountains to have that atmosphere of being enormous of the moon. Anyways here’s the final product, enjoy**!

I entered Splinterlands
**YEY! I just bought my summoner’s spellbook in Splinterlands.**
Splinterlands is super awesome. Being addicted to card games like hearthstone and yugioh, I’m fascinated with the battling system of Splinterlands. Not just that, but the use of blockchain technology to own our cards is truly great. I think this is one of the weakness of hearthstone, which is you don’t own the digital cards there. You can’t even sell your account because it is tied to your other games in blizzard. Another thing is the Meta in hearthstone does make you sick. The repeated strategies and cards become tiresome. On these weaknesses of hearthstone where Splinterlands shines.
**First, you own the cards you get.**
**Second, by owning the cards, you can then profit from this by selling or leasing it to another players.**
**Third, each battle has different rules and mana cap, thus adding uniqueness to each battle, and it also removes the meta.**
**Fourth, the community of the game is also awesome.**
It’s my first day in Splinterland (first day of owning the summoners spellbook). So far, it been fun, though I went on a losing streak on my first battle after upgrading my account. Yikes. I made some serious beginner mistakes. By putting range attackers to front, and melee attackers to back row. Lols. Why so dumb..
Anyways, thanks to the kindness of @simplymark for pointing out those mistakes, and also for delegating some of his cards that I be able to get out of the hell novice rank. YEy!! What a journey! Now I’m on bronze 3. Hahaha. Now I facing a wall in bronze 3 because of a high leveled cards my opponents plays. Another Yikes!

To the moon!
I’m always fascinated by the moon. The brightness it shows during the night is truly marvelous. It feels like I’m looking into my soul when I stare at it. The moon also tells you that whatever darkness comes upon you there will always be that shining light that will guide towards a better tomorrow. So, to honor the moon, I made an artwork. Hahaha… It still looks amateurish compared to others.
I used corel painter to do this. I’m not a traditional artist so expect me to use software applications. Also, corel painter produces great color effect that looks realistic, so you definitely need to use this one if you want to save some money buying art materials. Anyways. Here are the step by step procedure of my artwork.
**1. started with sketching the outlines.**
**2. Then I went on to the main attraction- the moon!! I used a selection tool to prevent going outside the circle of the moon**
**3. Coloring the moon bit by bit.**
**4. Yey! It is almost complete.**
**5. Tada!**
**6. Now, for some background. Sorry if does not look like outer space to you. I’m still a noob when it comes to mixing colors.**

Making that valentines day post
Today, I’m going to show how I made my valentines post this year.
I used corel painter in this artwork since the color balance it produces is realistic. I also used a reference picture in this one, though I’m not going to show it here because it looks very different from what I did. Heads up, I’m not a skilled in this type of drawing so sorry if it looks amateurish. I hope I get better in this, since I proclaimed myself a graphic artist although I mostly do layout jobs.
1. Blank canvas. hahaha… I already erased my sketch so you would not be seeing any trace of pencil lines.
2. I stated on the rose petals because……. I just want to start there. When I’m making this, I divided the rose into sections so that I would not get confuse with the coloring.
3. It was very time consuming because of the coloring.
4. (It looks not a rose to me)
5. I did that on day 1
6. Day 2. That middle part…..
7. I think it took me 3-4 hours drawing that middle part. Now on the last part of the petals.
8. Yey!
9. Let’s add some stem.
10. Now some leaves. Yey! The rose is now complete.
11. I added a background so that it would get that valentines atmosphere. I used a watercolor brush in that.
12. Now some message to our loved ones.

Bitcoin and Energy Consumption
Because of its convenience and functionalities, Bitcoin has become popular over the last few years, thus making lots of people mine it as its value increases. The cryptocurrency mining industry is definitely profitable, but at what price does this really cost us? It is Electricity! Cryptocurrency mining is an energy hog, specifically Bitcoin mining.
A research by University of Cambridge reveals that Bitcoin mining consumes an estimate of 61.76 terawatt-hours (TWh) per year. That is surely a large chunk of energy consumption. It also said that it accounts for approximately 0.28% of total global electricity consumption. Relative to per country's electricity generation, Bitcoin overtakes countries such as Switzerland and Greece. Data from Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance shows that China is a main hub for Bitcoin mining. Specifically, regions in Xinjiang, Sichuan and Inner Mongolia are dominating.
**How does Bitcoin consume electricity?**
Bitcoins are mined by people through powerful computers. They use these gigantic computers to completely solve complex mathematical problems in exchange of Bitcoin as a reward. Such mathematical problems are solved at 10 minutes interval. When done, a new mathematical problem is generated and the cycle repeats.
*Note: Regardless of the number of people actively mining, each mathematical problem is always solved every 10 minutes.*
**Is it worth it?**
Although many miners claim that their electricity comes from renewable source, is using renewable electricity for such purposes an enough reason for Bitcoin mining to be worth it, especially that the world is in danger of global environmental catastrophe?
**Is it really alright to use such large amount of energy for a volatile cryptocurrency?**
Another emerging issue is the use of the Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) in Bitcoin mining. An ASIC mining device can only be used for 2 years and is intended only for mining. This only adds to the surging ecological waste that is hazardous to human and animal health.
As Bitcoin continues to boost its popularity, its energy consumption will also rise up exponentially in the coming years. We better prepare for more efficient solution to this other than the use of renewable resources. Laws related to regulation of miners and their electricity consumption must also be passed and strictly implemented, especially that many people are into Bitcoin mining nowadays.
In the coming years, as we become more reliant to the blockchain technology, we need to consider its disadvantages that is compromising the future of our world. The danger it poses must be evaluated so that we can think of ways to minimize or possibly eliminate it. By doing so, we are paving a better future for our cryptocurrency.

Today, I’m going to talk about the top 10 coolest cryptocurrency logo designs.
Since I’m a graphic artist, one of things that captivated me about the cryptocurrency world is the logo design of the crypto coins. I always thought that cryptocurrency logos display some of the most awesome and unique logo designs out there. Which is why in this post, I feature the top 10 coolest cryptocurrency logo design in my opinion as a graphic artist.
**But first, why logos are important in the cryptocurrency?**
Branding is very important in any business and organization because it communicates the very purpose and objectives of the organization or product to the people. This also helps in distinguishing itself from the rest by clarifying its attributes. This is the same when it comes to cryptocurrency, especially during ICO of a coin as it may influence our decision whether we will trust and invest our money on it or not.

The emergence of cryptocurrency has caused significant changes in the market. This actually mirrors the future exchanges in value. But in order for a person to enter the cryptocurrency world, he/she needs first to secure an e-wallet. Through this kind of wallet, you can store your hard-earned cryptocurrencies. It covers a wide range of costumers and usually these are kids and teenagers because of the high end games available in computers. Computers shops became the modern arcade shops. Also, contributing to the dying business of arcades are the new generation of consoles that also offers high end games.
In contrast to these, we come up a business idea that will revive and commemorate the forgotten games of 90s and 80s and also will rewire the minds of today's kids in their view about games, that is Rehub :classic arcade games and board games. The business will offer retro arcade games and board games. It will also serve as a hub for gaming and stuff. Rehub: classic arcade games and board games will adapt the 90s and 80s theme to bring back the nostalgic feeling of old school.
**Objectives**:
The main goal of the project is to be a gathering place for retro gamers and those people who love to play board games to share their ideas, techniques and to have fun playing. Anonymity: Monero raised flags
**Monero?**
Monero, a cryptocurrency known for its private-oriented features, has been gaining popularity since it was launched in 2014. Monero improves the anonymity and fungibility of cryptocurrencies' majority. It makes mining easier even just with the use of a standard computer compared to other cryptocurrency mining methods that use complex hardware such as application-specific integrated circuits. In terms of privacy mechanism, Monero uses stealth addresses and ring signatures to resolve its privacy issues, making it very difficult to identify the sending participant. Monero offers much safer transactions and trading through this mechanism.
But such privacy advantage comes with a great threat.
**Emergence of Crimes Linked to Monero**
Cybercrime analysts are concerned that Monero's superior privacy (and other altcoins like Zcash) will make the connections between criminal acts and individuals difficult for the police to trace. This will thwart police investigation as Monero has an extra privacy feature that makes it difficult to track down the sender and receiver of money. Such events will give escape to the criminals, leaving their crimes untraced.
Jarek Jacubchek, a cybercrime analyst at Europol, said in a report
“We can see a quite obvious and distinct shift from bitcoin to cryptocurrencies that can provide a higher level of privacy. So basically, you can achieve a higher level of privacy using these 'altcoins', and these altcoins are either using stealth as the basis, like Monero. There are also coins like dash that do not have stealth addresses, they have transparent addresses, but they have a mixing process that is part of the protocol.”
The problem with Monero is that it will utterly limit the capabilities of the police. Investigation will be very difficult as the identification of suspects, the gathering of evidence of criminality, and the seizure of proceeds are confined.
Dark marketplaces are now using Monero to engage in illicit activities such as stolen credit cards, cars, and illegal drugs. Life is an endless struggle between happiness and sadness. When you thought that everything seems in place, then there’s this thing that will ruin it. Fate is sometimes very cruel. It will attack you when are at your most vulnerable. But after that, fate will also help you build up.
We live in that cycle. A wheel of pleasure and pain. We can either make the most out of it or let ourselves be consumed by it. But it depends on how a person adapts to the constant heaven and hell experiences life gives us. After all there's a limit to a person's emotional capacity.
In the end, we are all faced with our inevitable end. Whether you made it fast or not, it will always lead to that. Life itself is the cause of death. It is a never ending cycle of life and death, a cycle of happiness and sadness.
