The single 'Sultans of Swing' (which reached #4 on the Billboard singles chart) helped push this album to #2 in the States (with sales of 2 million) and #5 in the UK. 'Sultans' piqued my interest enough that I bought the album to see what else was happening there, and found a very talented guitarist. So talented that the album quickly became a favorite and 43 years later still spends a LOT of time spinning on the 'table. Note - 'Sultans' is immediately followed by 'In The Gallery' which is the song that cemented Mark's place as a great guitarist to me...he pulls out all the stops and delivers a great performance that is hard to match.
