Male (red) and female (brown) cardinals enjoying a snack in the front yard out at the Squirrel Tree. I get a lot of these here, usually they show up in pairs like this.

Oh, so that's how to identify cardigans? By it's color. Now I know it.

Are they considered wild birds? Do you pet them too in cage? I like red and those birds are pleasureable in eyes.
