6:40 A.M. Sunday 18 December 2022 Somewhere in southeastern Illinois USA Well, I hadn't planned on doing it until Tuesday, because the antenna was scheduled for delivery Monday, but they delivered it yesterday instead (Saturday) so... Anyway, this thing arrived in around 90 pieces that I had to assemble and the 'directions' included made about as much sense as trying to tune a piano with a fish. But I found someone that had made an instructional video, so early today I assembled it, and now I just need to attach it to the 25 ft/7.6 meter extendable antenna mast that was delivered this past Saturday and then raise it up and BINGO! I'll be able to receive broadcast TV within a 200 mile/322 km distance, and since the antenna remotely rotates 360° I'll get almost a dozen channels with it, and all 'local' news.

Who knew the Smithsonian was in the business of selling relics from the past. Either way, you had me laugh out loud with the "tuning a piano with a fish" comment. I will have to use that—but be warned, there will be no royalties paid to you if I do. lol
