You know how it is when that new song gets stuck in your head and you keep going back to it to listen to it again and again? Yeah, I have one of those. I recorded 11 songs to video when I went out to see my youngest brother's band this past Saturday (May 07) and one of them was the first public performance of a new song they had written called 'Southland'. I was at the practice/rehearsal when the lead guitarist showed the singer and drummer a new riff he had been working on, and over the course of the next month it developed into this song.
