I've noticed that many members are crying over the hearts sometimes having no value. I've also noticed 99% of them won't give tips out of their own wallets. Reminds me of people that expect to get something for nothing. Not a judgement, just an observation.

Noise admin did say that only 1% (or less) of users will tip using QR Code, so your observation is spot on.

I can still count on my fingers the amount of people who QR tip out their own wallets. It's a very small part of the community. When I came here, from day one, I made the decision I would give a little bit back. After all, it's really free money, and I enjoy the opportunity to earn a little something. Why not share some of it? In some ways I actually think more comes back to you when you DO give a little back. Not sure if that is an algorithm thing or just a karma thing. Either way, it seems to work.
