This thing sounds as pretty as it looks. This is my 1975 Marantz Model 2015 Stereophonic receiver. These don't pack a lot of raw power, only pushing 15 watts/channel into 8 ohms when wide open at rated input, but it is entirely more than any suburban apartment dweller would need---this thing could get the neighbors rather mad at you.

I've never owned a Marantz brand and what I have is a Seico brand and it's been a memory since the first stereo sound was made

My brother is always getting people little rattled sitting out on the deck and plays the stereo actually while he was gone for the month working in Georgia people were commenting on how quiet it was without my brother around 😂
