@Scarred4Lyfe more from that month

My old washing machine decided to retire yesterday. It had been grumbling for a month or two, complaining about how long it had worked and how underappreciated it felt and so forth, so I was expecting it to happen sooner or later. Hard to keep good help these days. lol Anyway, I got online and contacted Sears about a replacement worker, and they allowed as they had one, but it might take up to three weeks before it can begin work. I said as that would be fine, I wasn't in a big hurry, and also told them it would be light work, so I didn't need someone that could works for hours on end without a break. It is for reasons like this that I have been keeping a (basically) unused credit card. I've used it sparingly, just enough to keep the account active, and the only reason I got it was to have a fall-back position if I ever found myself in dire need of financial assistance. For an extra $15, they'll haul the old washer off, so I won't have to worry myself about what to do with it.
