Well, learn something new every day. These are both juvenile black widow spiders - I thought widows had the distinctive red hour-glass shape on their abdomen, but it appears it may be only adult females that have the hour-glass marking, because in a photo search these show up as juvenile black widows in several places on the Internet. (I found both of these on the equipment I was running sound with at a show for 7 bands last night)

Wow so that's the black widow spider. They say female eat their partners that's why they are called widow. Poor males, they are born to be food. 😅
That was pretty cool. Another learning for me too as I haven't seen that kind of spider yet.
Looks scary and cool at the same time as I haven't seen one personally.
