This Northern Cardinal and I have something in common, we're both bald. lol It's molting time for the cardinals and I've had several (both male and female) show up recently that look like someone's been yanking their feathers out. Fortunately this is something natural and new feathers will grow to replace what it lost. UNfortunately my hair doesn't work that way. ☺

How about the other partner of the birds. It is a rare to see that kind of creature, i think in our country we did not see as well
Usually when they molt it happens slower but high heat makes their feathers fall out faster
he color of its body feather is really vibrant.
