Originally, Petty wanted to release 25 songs, but management convinced him that would be too long and the final album release had 15 songs on it. 26 years later, after Petty's death, the entire recording session was released as this album, 'Wildflowers & All the Rest', consisting of the original 15 songs released in 1994 as well as the other 10 songs Tom had wanted on the original release.
