I love getting charged a 'technology fee'. Went to pay the water bill on the house this morning and get the service changed from my Dad's name to mine. I had assumed they would just transfer the $125 deposit on the service from his account to mine, but no---they want to send a dead man a check. >.< So I put the deposit on my credit card and also had them set the account up for automatic payment from my bank---which added a $5.78 'technology fee' to the total amount. But it is done at least.

I wish. They charge too damn much as it is.
All that is is a money grab and makes no sense and I would never pay it. I'd call them back and say, "I just went to a garage sale and paid for my stuff using their square attached to their phone. If a guy selling junk out of his garage can easily enough process my order why can't you Mr. Big Time utility company?"
