Christians go around getting things that offend them banned, then complain when something of theirs gets banned because it offends other people. Of course, they are not the only group that does this, but they are certainly the noisiest. Why can't people seem to comprehend that how other people choose to live - or believe - is actually none of their damned business?

It can get pretty stupid most of the time, and I also have several examples to share. Yet, even among Christians some of them are open-minded. Lately, I found this Pastor (Robert Houghton) on Youtube who is preaching in an unusual way by reacting to metal videos. For example this one: Metallica "Master of Puppets" // Pastor Rob Reaction and Analysis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR_Ls2lWvG8 Frankly, I had no idea what the lyrics and the cover of Master of Puppets were about all this time. Perhaps it has to do with the fact I had a limited English vocabulary back in my high school days when I was listening to metal all day. Clearly, there is a part of Christians who know how to lead and clearly, that is not by banning books or condemning music.
If you want to see a truly and thoroughly dishonest and despicable person, look no further than a Christian. I find the lot of them utterly abhorrent and contemptible.
IKR? Thank goodness there's an organisation called The Right to Freedom from Religion, the sole mission of which is to defend our right to freedom from Abrahamic religion and say "no" to those who encroach on it. They have managed to get religious plaques, statues and monuments removed from public places/venues in America, since such are unconstitutional. They've probably managed other things as well.
What worries me is the lack of critical thinking in a large number of people. How is it possible that they are not capable of stopping to reason a little and feel a little curious to question anything that is raised? More logical reasoning is needed for things and that people do not get carried away by the first thing they find on social networks, in their communities or anywhere. I guess it's one of the consequences of people's tendency to ease.
Indeed! That's why I prefer not to work for religious folks. Doing a job that requires analytical thinking, logic and reasoning for people whom are clearly lacking in such abilities/faculties themselves doesn't seem right to me.
