A Pakistani train driver and his helper were banned from service after he stopped the train to buy yogurt near a railway station in Lahore.
Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati dismissed the train driver and his helper on Tuesday after a video went viral on social media showing the train driver stopping the train near the Kahna Kacha railway station in the provincial capital to buy yogurt.
The minister took action and ordered the Pakistan Railways Lahore administration to suspend driver Rana Mohammad Shehzad and his assistant Iftikhar Hussain after the video clip sparked criticism of the railways department, which has been in trouble of late due to various issues such as accidents, passenger safety, and declining revenue, according to the statement.

Sazgar Engineering Works Limited, a rickshaw manufacturer turned automobile manufacturer, announced in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange that commercial manufacturing of its BAIC automobiles will begin next month (PSX).
“We are glad to inform you that, following the successful conclusion of the trial operation, commercial manufacturing of the BAIC vehicles will begin on September 1, 2021,” the business stated.
Pakistan is attempting to boost industrial production in the country, and this breakthrough comes as part of that effort.
The government also wants to boost Pakistan’s vehicle manufacturing to 300,000 units per year, and it’s certain that policy initiatives like tax reduction measures proposed in the current fiscal year’s budget will help it accomplish that goal.
Sazgar inked a contract for the production of passenger and commercial cars with a Chinese carmaker back in March.
The BAIC D20, which comes in hatchback and sedan versions, has been announced as Sazgar’s entry into the Pakistani car market.
BAIC is China’s third-largest automaker, selling 3.5 million vehicles annually.

Motorbikers rally arrived in Multan from Lahore to further promote Pak-Iran friendship.
According to details, motorbikers are travelling from Lahore to Tehran, Iran, to promote Pak-Iran relations. The bikers will cover 7500 km in 26 days and will return to Lahore from Iran on December 27.
Mukarram Khan Tareen, organizer of the rally has said that the purpose of the rally to send a message of peace of the whole world. We are going to tell the world that Pakistan is peaceful, friendly and the best country for sightseeing, he added.
Tareen further said the thirteen bikers, including a female biker from Cross Route Motorcycle Club, are participating in the rally.

Two new radar system added by Pakistan Defense, namely TPS-77 MRR and YLC-18A, to air defense monitoring system to consolidate the Pakistan's defense
Earlier, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) deployed two new radar systems in a bid to enhance air defense monitoring. According to reports, these include TPS-77 MRR and YLC-18A.
A per details, a US defense firm called Lockheed Martin developed the TPS-77 MRR which is a long-range, ground-based air search radar. It has ranges approaching 500 km with Action-Based Testing (ABT) detection at 300 km for typical fighter aircraft.

Sorry I am not buying this.
I don’t know why, but it has become our habit to criticize everything. Media is considered to be a tool to spread positivity. However, in the case of Pakistan, it is totally different. Last month I went home and found that children from my village used to go to a small private school which barely had 3 rooms, no playing area, non qualified staff and abounded with a lot of issues. School was charging some 700 rupees per child. In the periphery, there was a Government School which had better staff, infrastructure and more facilities. I motivated the parents and let students admitted in the Government School that barely charge 20 rupees per month . Additionally, books were also free. So, if a government is providing a facility, do use it please.
P.S. I learnt from the same school and competed with the whole Pakistan and won a place in the #Civil Service of Pakistan.
One of my friends from Civil Service who has served in the Government School Education Department for Seven Years has further added that the Government institutes have improved a lot.
Way Forward: Take a decision. Get your children admitted to Government School. Do a job that can pay their fee. Give a small time to them and you will see a change.
Critique. I am not buying this idea of criticism and poverty every time. So please promote people, enlighten them rather highlighting bull shits and false data every time through different platforms.

A quarterly magazine Fascinating #Pakistan was launched in #London on Wednesday to boost the country’s local and international tourism by sensitising travel enthusiasts about its diverse culture, multi-faceted tourism, national heritage, arts and crafts, and cuisines.
The #first-ever tourism-centric magazine, comprising 72 pages, was launched in Pakistan as well by Strings Media, a London-based tourism company under its digital campaign "Come, Fall in Love – Pakistan".
After the soft launch of the magazine, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fascinating Pakistan Tahawur Husain Jafri had started presenting its copies to the dignitaries including politicians, celebrities and sportsmen to push their campaign for tourism promotion.

As per the report of Samaa TV : A 14-storey high cruise ship has arrived at Gadani, which has been bought by Pakistan and upon seeing the ship in good condition, Pakistani authorities are mulling over to use this cruise ship for tourism purposes by making it a Hotel.
Celestyal Experience, formerly known as Costa Romantica, is a 1990s vintage ship built for Costa Cruises.The 56,800 gross-ton cruise ship, introduced in 1992, was built by the Italian shipbuilder. A Pakistani company, New Choice Enterprises, bought it for ship breaking but after finding the ship in a “good condition” they have decided to transform it into a hotel or cruise.
According to a report, the cruise ship underwent a significant modernization and overhaul in 2011 as part of a life extension program designed to update the ship. The 14 storey ship has the following features:
1,411 rooms
Seven-star hotel
Shopping mall
Gaming zone
Swimming pool
Three ballrooms
The company says they had sought permission to anchor the cruise ship near Karachi Port Grand but the request was denied due to its massive size. The ship has now been anchored at Gadani Ship Breaking Yard.
