Cyclone Citrang has hit the Bay of Bengal coast. There are 7 warning signs shown. Although the cyclone hit the Bay of Bengal, its impact was rain across the country. I have been watching the rain ever since I woke up in the morning to do the lab. I got almost half wet while carrying an umbrella to campus. School-college holidays should be given during such calamities but we were not given any holidays. Due to which we have to attend the lab class even if we don't want to. The rain did not stop even when I returned home after finishing the lab class for about 4 hours. Noon is over and evening has passed, but the rain has not stopped yet. 15 hours of continuous rain has left most parts of the city under water. It is not possible to say how much more damage has been done, but the lives of ordinary people are in the face of disaster.
