My Brothers Civil Wedding
(This is my brother with his wife and parents in-law)
Being with my family is the most happy moment for me. This is Rhino, A Filipino/ Canadian, living and residing in Canada, A lawyer and an Architect. I work as an FBI Agent. I belong to a family of 4. My parents and my elder brother Naveed . In the 44 years of my life , I can say that I have had so many experiences that have made my life colorful, That I am going to share with you all, God willing. One of those is about the colorful life of my brother, which I also become part of everything!.

**MY BROTHERS WEDDING-**
**PART 1**
**HOW THEY MET?**
I am 44 years old now and he is 47. We both work in the same office. He is also an FBI Agent in Canada, he is the Chief of our squad. Naveed is A Lawyer and an Engineer too. He is also a founder of Crypto Stalkers, a group that deals in Cryptocurrency. Once he was assigned to go to the Philippines to accomplish a work, he was only 27 that time. After successfully finishing the work, his best friend invited him to attend an engagement party first before he traveled back to Canada, where we are living and working now. Since he needed to wait for a couple of hours before his flight, he went with his friend. The place is good, because the family is a politician. His bestfriends friend is a son of a Vice-mayor in that City, Sta.Rosa City in Laguna. And his friend has a girlfriend, and they were engaged to get married that time. My brother's best friend was still at work. My brother got bored and went outside to the garden, and had some fresh air, with soup, he also had his guitar with him. And he told me that at that very moment, he saw a girl sitting on a bench alone. He doesn't know who that girl was, that got his attention for the first time. My brother is a very choosy guy when it comes to a girl, that time he never set his eyes for any girls, that was just the first time. So many girls were trying to get his attention anywhere he goes. Buti nobody got his attention. He told me that the girl looks elegant, beautiful and slim, top of all a snob. Yes! Haha, for the first time my brother experienced being ignored by a girl. She got his attention more, and secretly took a stolen picture of her. My brother said he felt like a crazy one who was thinking about how to approach the girl. It was like love at first sight. The time to leave has come, he didn't finished his soup and walked straight to the place where the girl was sitting, and he said while passing in front of her, he intentionally pour the soup on her, to get her attention while he was secretly smiling, thinking that it was hopeless to be acquainted to her because he was leaving, the girl was so shocked and speechless, while my brother he said, just calmly walk away to meet his best friend approaching, with a worried face, because he saw everything that transpired there, he told my brother that he saw him starting the whole time to that girl, so he knows that the girl got his attention. My brother's best friend told him that the girl is the girlfriend of his friend and they are engaged to get married soon. My brother told me that it felt like a stab to his heart hearing the fact. My brother told his friend, he will call him as he reaches the airport then leaves, without looking back that captured his heart for the first time, unsure if he will go to see her again. He was texting and calling me about accidentally meeting with that girl and sadly telling me she was engaged.
As my brother reached Canada, he told me everything about the girl and started to call his best friend to give him an update about her, seeing a little hope that at least his best friend is also the friend of that girl. His best friend keeps on giving updates until the day comes that good news!. His best friend told him that the girl and his friend broke up. I will never forget how my brother shouted "YES!" full of joy, that even our friends were surprised seeing him so happy that way for the first time. Then he told me and to all of us everything.
My brother filed for a leave of absence, to travel to the Philippines to formally propose to that girl, but they already started to have a communication via phone before that, where my brother sang a song for her, because he has a good singing voice. Ofcourse, I also filed for a vacation leave so I can go with him, because I was more excited to see the happiness of my brother and his love!. I also learned that the former boyfriend of the girl was trying to get her back but that girl was so firm in her decision, she wanted peace and a simple happy life with a godly man. And I am proud to say,.my brother has all the qualities that she is looking for.
**FINALLY, ITS OFFICIAL**
So, our vacation was granted, my brother called the girl that he has already in the Philippines, hahaha! The girl was surprised and to make the story short the girl accepted the love of my brother. Actually my brother already knew all about the girl, everything! Because he used a lot of ways to monitor her. She came from a simple family, living in a place together with her parents and brothers. She was also sick, diagnosed with an early stage of Leukemia, she was 31 years of age the day they got officially engaged and planned to get married. But it was not a problem to my brother at all, because he truly loved the girl with all his heart. He waited 3 years for her, not knowing if there would be a chance to see her again. But God has become so merciful to them that they ended up living life happily together. As they decided to get married, my brother secretly bought a house in a high-end subdivision, not just one unit but 1 block. He demolished all the houses he bought just to build his dream house, with his own style. I will share with you all the details next time hahaha! Let's continue with the love story. So he bought the property as a gift to his soon-to-be wife. It was December of 2008, when they started to process their requirements for their Civil Wedding. Everybody knows that CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) to prove that the interested parties were single is the primary requirement and some documents from the immigration. We only have 3 months of vacation and we have a back and forth ticket. My brother kept on praying that the requirements be released fast so they can get married before we travel back to Canada. And his prayers were granted hahaha! Everything was ready and they could get married. All of a sudden, we talked to our contacts in the Philippines, to a Court Judge that will initiate their wedding, and they never informed anyone. We only contact them on the exact wedding day because we also don't know that everything will get approved. So they scheduled the wedding day on the 17th of February, 2009, a day before our scheduled flight to travel back to Canada. Hahaha! Whoa..so I became the busiest one there. I prepared all things, called his contacts, even the sponsors were instant, they just listed the names, then called each of them, all of them arrived but only the 2 Female sponsors failed to arrive because it was hard to contact them. My brother has prepared a beautiful gown for my now Sister In-law, so that she got the look of a very beautiful princess. She was truly a beautiful lady even without makeup. I saw it with my own two eyes, an elegant and very reserved type, not a flirty one. I observed the way he dressed and her behavior. My brother is head over heels in love with her. My sister in law called her parents that morning and said she just got married and Hahahha they were so surprised, they went to the house in Sta.Rosa, the house that my brother bought as a gift to his wife. They were shocked, speechless, and surprised. They came via Taxi, and we welcomed them at the entrance of the house. They saw their daughter in a beautiful green gown, with a touch of simple lipstick and cosmetics on her face. We made our proper introduction, I took pictures and my brother nervously yet happily talked with his Parents In-law…
It was a very happy day. Famous personalities came, mostly acquaintances and friends of my brother from the Philippine Government, that I also know personally. We met them because of our job in the FBI Canada. Like I said my brother is the Chief of our squad under the Illegal Drugs and Firearms department so he has contact with them everytime he is in the Philippines for missions. My sister in-law also listed the female sponsors but the two ladies missed to come. The most important thing on that day was that they were officially married legally. My brother wants a grand church wedding but the time frame is too short. He promises that one day he will give his wife the church wedding, which is also very important, We were a muslim before, so our religion was Islam, but my brother converted into a Christian.
I was busy preparing and ordering the food. Since my brother was already a christian and most of the visitors were christians, I ordered a big Pork Lechon, along with different chicken dishes, Pas
ta, fruits, and a lot more. The visitors came at different times of the day, until almost 10 in the evening.
We left the next day, at noon time, happy and sad at the same time, my brother told his wife to prepare all
the documents and requirements so she can follow soon to Canada.
UNEXPECTED THINGS HAPPENED.
My brother and his wife
talked everyday, through call and text because that time the technology was not so upgraded that video chatting was not popular before. And around last week of March, my sister told my brother that she was not feeling well, so she went for a check up, and the doctor confirmed that she was pregnant for 3 weeks. What a blessing and my brother almost cried from so much happiness. My brother tried to request for another vacation, so he can be with his wife but the request was not granted. My sister in-law gave birth on November 3, 2009, with a bouncing baby boy.
The day came that a problem came to all of us, especially to my brother, because of our job. We received a big mission from the Philippines. A member of drug syndicates was somewhere operating in the Philippines. My brother together with his group including me traveled to the Philippines, for that mission, my brother is not the type that will only order his men to move, he personally actually and perform, while leading all of us, we were in the Philippines, but his wife does not know that we were there for their safety. In line of duty, the risk is very high. We passed in front of their house, going to our mission. There was a shortcut in that place. Since the room of his wife in their ancestral home was along the way with an aircon, provided by my brother because his wife doesn't like to live in the house that he bought for her yet without him, he did everything so she and their son could live comfortably. We walked, passing by the house, and we heard the cry of his son but can't even go near the house, just to protect them, we don't know who to trust, that even from our group may have a traitor that may hurt us or our family, anybody can be a traitor or have a connection with the drug syndicates. My brother cried silently and this gave him more courage and inspiration to perform his job carefully and safely for the sake of his family. We successfully finished our mission, my brother is truly a great leader and boss. We need to report everything and a mission unfinished wala still waiting for us in Canada, connected to the mission that we finished here. So went back to Canada unknown to his wife. As we reached there, my brother told me,
That mission will be his last mission, he wanted to change job, a job that is not risky and dangerous because he is afraid to harm his family.
Bad things happened, as he informed our office that he will go back to the Philippines to visit his family, they didnt allowed him because there was a threat for his life because of the bigla drug syndicate that he destroyed in the Philippines, and a humor was spreading that he was part of the Drug syndicate. My brother got angry and defy our office instruction, he booked a flight to the Philippines, and ofcourse I want to protect my brother, so I also booked for a flight together with our 3 best friends from the group, On during our travel , someone shot my brother with a poisonous bullet, in few seconds he fell down the floor, unconcious, I lastly run after the gun many, and successfully shot him at his ankle, I was not planning to kill him, all I want was to catch him alive because if I am going to kill him, how will I know the full details, of who are the traitors and everything. So thank God we caught him alive, unfortunately my brother was already in a comatose condition, because of the poisonous bullet that a gunman used to shoot him. My brother is a sharp shooter, great in martial arts, swimming, and all types of sports, he is our instructor in our training. It is so hard to become an FBI Agent, so much training that you need to pass, both physical and mental, also psychological training. We were branded as AWOL, absent without leave, aside from the case that was filed against us where my brother and his group were involved in drug syndicates. Our bank accounts and all sources were all frozen. My brother was brought to a secret house with an ICU, with us as his personal bodyguards, our mother also there for him. Till the day come that the gunman who shot my brother revealed everything, that there was a power struggle, jealous, envy and greed that was why some people in our group was angry with my brother but God is great and merciful that our case and doubts again us finally cleared, but my brothers condition never changes, doctor said that were should accept that only a miracle can heal him. So me, our mother were all in the safe house, we never gave him up, we have faith in God, My brother lost all the benefits from the government, even the early pension because of our defiance as we travel without consent before. We made all the ways to send support to his wife and son in the Philippines, but it was too risky because the other members of the drug syndicates might hack the communication and find his family for revenge, the communication was truly so hard. So we failed to send help to his family while he was in a comatose stage. His wife and son experience a hard life, terrible, but we can't go out of the safehouse or make texts or calls. His wife's father also died in 2012, which made his wife more demoralized. We were protecting his family that much, it is better to have a hard life than take the revenge of the syndicate. Miracle of God came in his perfect time. After 2 long years my brother woke up, a big miracle that even the doctor was so shocked and amazed! My brother whispered his wife's name before he opened his eyes in 2014, he was so weak and telling things from the past, he forgot what had happened to him, in his mind was his family. We told him everything, he also started to find a way to send help for his family who was living a miserable life at that time. Good thing that some friends, and siblings of his wife help them, especially the one who is living in Texas, USA. We were seeing them via drones that monitor them from here in Canada, his wife didn't know about it at that time. We saw how his parents sacrificed to help them, As my brother woke up, we lied to them at first, and told them that my brother was already dead, So his wife was so demoralized, we did that for their safety. Because of the aircon that made their electric bill go higher, it was cut and they live miserably, sacrificing on the heat of the weather, they live in a small room formerly a small sari-sari store. Lack of everything, and his wife promised to herself that she would never enter a relationship or get married again, closed her social media accounts, and took care of their child with the help of her family. Everybody loves their child that much, he was so chubby and cute. Very talkative and loves to sing though we can't understand what he was saying hahaha! We saw everything from the drone. My brother use to cry seeing them, Until the day came that my brother used aliases and pen names so he could send them help. He used the aliases that time so they were talking in messenger. My brother sent parcels in the Philippines through Philpost, containing clothes, shoes, toys, some school supplies for their kid, and his wife, vitamins and medicines too. His wife is a dignified woman, not a flirty one. Later on we also inform his wife that we will be going to the Philippines to meet her.

Today I find some memorable photos and memories from my USB and this is one of the most precious memories that I am going to share with you. These are the photos of me and my family during our visit to the memorial place of my father, Angels Garden Memorial park, there in San Pedro City Laguna Philippines 🇵🇭, on this first photo you will see Me with my whole family, and in the second photo is me with my nieces. Those were the time when my Sister and her family from Texas USA visited the Philippines. Our beloved father is very loving, kind, humble, and caring, for me, He is a perfect father and grandfather to my son and his other grandchildren. Even in the middle of so many problems and challenges, you will never see him stressed though I know he was so bothered, he remained calm, and when he successfully solved any problem he will only smile, and you will feel that everything is ok! We are so blessed that God gave us the gift of that kind of father. We will see each other again one day Papa! You are always in our prayers. I love you so much!❤️🙏
