Paper Book or e-Book: Which is Which?!? In the modern days, e-books have been a popular way for bookworms to read based on their interest. The 21st century is starting to change people's preferences with the influence of digital technology. Pens and papers are tagged as obsolete things to do especially for the young generation. When it comes to e-books and paper books, the Millenials prefer to use the first mentioned. It could still be debatable in terms of the pros and cons of reading e-books and paper books. Some people describe paper books as a traditional way of getting information, whereas e-books are described as the modern way. Others will insist that e-books are so easy to access in just one click of a mouse or flickering of the fingers with modern devices. In conclusion, both can still serve as the way of reading for readers and play a major role in their lives. It varies from one person to another. Some can still indulge in reading and collecting paper books in their mini-library at home and others will embrace downloading e-books to their modern devices.

War of Words In this world, we need to conceal our feelings towards others to refrain from having full-blown arguments. It is easier said than done, right? In this case, we need to control our emotions and be composed when dealing with difficult people in life. It is inevitable not to be pressured at work. Having teamwork is not an easy way to come up with the final decision. That is the reason why some people prefer to work solo. But then, he or she cannot control this, especially if working in a particular company. Every walks of life, they always encounter the so-called 'war of words.' In the family, it is not healthy to be always bickering with each other. They need to breathe in and out first before talking to each other calmly. Having a family is not like a bed of roses. There is no misunderstanding within the four corners of the house. It is a fact that needs to address. Whatever the situation is, people need to learn how to control their emotions. If they cannot do this, it is for sure that it can lead to a 'war of words.' A problem cannot be solved if we bombard each other with hurtful words. We need to practice the proper breathing, that is to breathe in and out deeply. Then, release it slowly.

Feasting My Eyes on the Beauty of People's Eyes In the real world of today, we are experiencing so many new things brought about by the spread of coronavirus or Covid-19. At first, people around the globe were in a panic because this killer virus spread like a wildfire. It became a chaotic situation when the death toll is still increasing up to this date. Despite the pandemic situation, people from different countries started to feel at ease because of the development of the vaccines and started to be administered to them. It seems that they are starting to embrace the new life during this pandemic. Others are still in doubt about the implementation of the branded vaccines. They tend to feel like mutants that were being experimented on in the laboratories. In my perspective, I tried to be more optimistic about what I see literally. The feasting of my eyes on the beauty of people's eyes while wearing their face masks with face shields in public. It may sound weird, but we need to take things lightly in our minds. In some way, we can able to boost our immune system to withstand the possible cause of this coronavirus. It may not be the same situation as before, but we are still ready to face these tough challenges that come along the way. Humans are made to adapt easily to the changes in their environment. Working together is the best course of action to battle this killer virus.

TV Guesting of Policemen Since the new president in my country officially sits on his throne, the local policemen started to blossom their power over the country. They had the power to eliminate the people connected to illegal drugs. As they said. “shoot on-site”. What a terrible way to execute my fellowmen! I am not going to talk further about it since bashers will come after me. I don’t mind and I am speaking out for the truth. Besides, I am not blind to the real truth. The main reason why I felt so ridiculous for policemen to indulge limelight with TV guesting. It wasn’t that they are being interviewed. They were actively participating in local contests live on TV. I find it so weird for these policemen to showcase their talents. It seems that they were so over-empowered and wanting to be instant celebrities. This is not their major role in society. I can still remember during my childhood years. I look up to policemen for being brave and do what’s right. Now, I don’t what to think of them. For instance, I had witnessed their actual operation in catching the drug lord in my neighborhood. We never thought that there is someone out there who has their way of destroying the lives of the local people here.  It was a good thing that the local policemen do their jobs. But then, they killed the drug lord on the spot while his hands were up in the air. There are so many neighbors seen the situation. The drug lord raised both hands as a sign of being defeated. However, he was still shot without mercy. At the back of these people with uniforms, there is a price tag if they killed the local people involved in illegal drugs. The question is, “Where is justice?”  For such reason, why do these policemen need to be in the limelight? A policeman should work in silence and not be exposed on live TV. There are so many things to focus on more than being in the hot spot.

Dummies Are Not Allowed There are so many companies that need to know a simple rule in the Philippines. The “anti-dummy” law is not acceptable in the country. However, there are some instances that foreign investors are becoming smart in terms of abusing the local people. In the legality issue, the foreign investors showed of being a good player in the business. It was all written and documented that seem no flaws on hard papers. As stated, the “anti-dummy” law specifies that 60% of investment should be owned by Filipino citizens and 40% for foreign investors. It is clearly stated bylaws in the Philippines. These are being totally practiced in the country for years. The existing companies in the country are legalized with the accomplishment of legal requirements. How about behind the management of these corporations? For some reason, there are some business cultures of deception to the local people.  **The Existence of Business Cultural Deception:**  **1. Marriage Agreement For Legality of Business** Some foreign investors engaged in a marriage of the local people. This is an option to dominate 100% investment to start up a business. It sounds perfect since the investment is well-secured and the requirements are legalized without a doubt. The local people can deny this but it is happening nowadays. It is a deception that works in silence to acquire a total investment of 100%. **2. Live Dummies in the Companies** Employees in companies are considered dummies of foreign investors. It looks too good to be true. We can consider some employees are puppets of the company in executing the internal policies in the company. They don’t say any words about the culture within the company. The mere fact, these employees just follow the higher-ups and cannot say against them. If they do, then the pressure will come in and the incidence of high turnover will be the next thing to happen.

The Money Faces Of People Facial expressions are the best gestures people should have. The facial muscles are so active in expressing one’s feelings based on their emotional state in a particular situation. It is the wonder of the creation of God to let the people feel something from within and expressed through our facial expressions. Some people cannot have these skills as a gesture and of course, with an exemption of people who are manifesting medical conditions such as Bell’s Palsy, half-face paralysis, and the like.  In terms of personality, people have always described two faces. These two-faced people are described as a good or bad image in the eyes of people and God. With such personality, it became one of the reasons why innocent souls are being so protective of themselves. The reason, if we are acquainted with this two-faced personality, it can make or break the lives of people.  The evolution of two faces had resulted in multiple personalities. Nowadays, the two-faced mutate to different shades of personality because of money. It cannot be denied that people manifested different personalities and it doesn’t fall into a psychological problem. That is the “money faces”. These money faces are widespread at this point in time and we cannot notice it because of so many circumstances in life.  **Avarice** These are people who are so addicted to money. It is an extreme personality that aims to have money without satisfaction. Even if they are destroying the lives of other people, they don’t mind at all. In reality, money talks to their conscience. It wasn’t the good conscience but the evil side. The evil state took over their good conscience. The craving for money keeps on flooding their bank account. If they have nine figures, they wanted ten times the fold of this monetary value.  **Crook Money** Some people took advantage of others due to a financial setback. They asked for money from others with no return of payment. The main strength of these people is to use the power of deception. If you are going to preview the Bible context. The serpent used a forbidden fruit to let our ancestors Adam and Eve be tempted. In this modern world, money represents the forbidden fruit. A person is tempted to steal or rob other people to gain power over them.  If you are going to create a mutant out of cravings for money, the creation would be a “Money Face”. The new facial expression with the result of mixed emotions out of greediness. It is not generalized, but these people are becoming the menace and their souls are on fire while they are still alive. It is a fact of what’s going in our world today. Can we still bring back the old days of not being over-controlled of money? We can never tell the future. We hope the world will not be in chaos just because of money.
