Life is not a bed of roses as they say. Not all wishes come true and not all happiness are found. Two hearts beat for each other at first sight. They couldn't even take eyes off each other. A charming prince has found his heartthrob and the young damsel has found her heart beat. They stared at each other as long as they could and they finally took eyes away from each other for a moment. The young prince discovered he is lost in the forest and the young lady is the first person he will come across after wandering in the forest for hours.
This young damsel help this man to their village, her home. She lives alone with her grandmother. She had gone to the forest to fetch some firewood when she met the lost prince. The lost prince who didn't even know his name looks tired and exhausted. The young girl, Tara by name helped him, she fed him and gave him a place to rest. Everything felt different for this young prince, he had a clue of the kind of life he was living before and he knew he was living in luxury and abundance. This kind of place is harsh and unpleasant for him but he had nowhere to go.
At times, he appeared a little grumpy and arrogant. He would complain of every food the girl prepared for her, he hates mosquito bites at night and the sound of wolves in the forest. However, he accompanied Tara everywhere she goes like a dog follows it's master. He knows only her and nobody else. He knows nowhere or where he is coming from.
Days turns into months and the young prince seems to have adapted to his new environment. Tara taught him a lot of things and helped him a lot, how to hunt, and break firewoods, how to cook and many other things were fun to him because they seems new. He believed that his memory will one day come back, but he will cherish every moment he spend with this young girl henceforth. They loved each other to the moon. Talk of their love story spread like a wildfire around the village. Many warned her of bringing a stranger to her home and now they claim to love each other deeply.
When it's time for the prince to go back, everything felt like a shattered dream. They were both on their way to the forest as usual to fetch some firewood and see if their traps have caught any animal. They met some group of men approaching them. Yes! They finally found him! Their lost prince, they have been looking for him for months, they searched all neighbouring villages, forest and rivers all to no avail. The prince fell of the mountain few months ago. He came with his brothers to for mountain climbing for mountain climbing as he always does anytime he wished to leave the palace for a while.
Unfortunately the prince couldn't recognize them, he seems confused and surprised when they told him he is the heir to his father's throne. The prince of their land from a far away country and he needs to return, they thought he was dead and his mother was sick. For the two souls that will soon be separated they feel nothing but pain and sorrow. He didn't want to leave but he need to. Tara wouldn't abandone her grandmother and follow these unknown men to an unknown destination. It's time to let go and finally say goodbye.

The Power of Appreciation
Appreciations and compliments are what many desire and looking forward to hear from people around them. They are words of encouragement that builds up a man's self esteem. Giving a honest and sincere appreciation to someone will make them feel important and special. It builds confidence and trust.
For everyone around us including ourselves we wish to hear compliments and not critism. Dale Carnegie says "Criticism is futile because it puts a person in a defensive and usually makes him strive to justify himself . It wounds a person's precious pride, hurts his sense of importance and arouses resentment"
Criticism damages man's self esteem and confidence. They are selfish and unkind. Criticism have caused many to commit suicide. It caused many to fall and give up. It has broken many homes apart, spouses have failed to appreciate themselves rather criticising themselves. Children have lost confidence in themselves because their parents always critises them anytime they come home which their 'report card' and the results of their examinations.
"the bait that suit the fish'
While fishing, the best bait to use in order to catch a fish are worms. When a fisherman decides to use a bait different from a worm will not give him a pleasant and satisfying result. It does not matter what we prefer or want, the best bait to use is a worm because fishes like worms the best. Let's apply this to humans also. We should give people what they want and not we want. Criticism and flattery are selfish because we didn't see what we want in a person, we critism them because they have failed to be what we want and do what we want. Showing them what we want instead of what they want is selfish and insincere. Our critism cannot change them to what we want rather it breaks them and makes them lose their confidence.
Appreciation is finding pride and satisfaction with others. The power of appreciation is knowing people's value and making them feel important. Making them feel the "desire to be important". The feel the desire to be important when we give them kind words and appreciate them. It makes them do better than they have been doing because they know we actually appreciate what they are doing for them.
Finding fault and criticising others does not make us feel perfect. If we really value and cherish those around us, we should really appreciate them, know their worth instead of criticising and finding their faults and mistakes. Instead of finding fault, let's see the good of them and appreciate them for that. We should compliment them and give them kind and sincere words from our hearts.

Immortality
Topic: You are immortal, you can't die, but that's only for one weekend. What do you do and why?

It's okay to let our imaginations run wild, make it new and exciting. I agree that there are things I have once imagined and would love to try but they are just too risky that even if I got a chance to try it out, I wouldn't have because I'm so scared of what might happen. Immortality on its own is something I have seen on fictional movies. They are always stunning and astonishing. Watching them makes me feel like it's real. I would always think of any possibility of me becoming immortal, though I didn't think of what l would find myself to do. If I got a chance to become immortal for just a weekend, I think it's enough for me to try out some stupidity 😂 in me. I will use them for myself because I know I might not get the chance again.
Rock Climbing.
I have seen and heard of this kind of adventure. I find it special in its own way because it takes a lot of courage to do and it's something different and unique. I would love to climb to the highest mountain and meet a world record. Endurance, resistance and agility and a mental control is something I have but what happens if I'm actually immortal at that moment that will remove all my fears totally and build up my courage to climb up a mountain.
Sky Diving.
Here's another sport I would love to try out if I have the chance to be immortal. Not that I can't do this if I have the chance, it's just that I cannot do it because of my fear. I love parachuting and I like people that does. I would love to try it out. I will jump out from an aeroplane and dive into the air, enjoying the breeze and the atmosphere will put me be on a whole different level entirely, I see the whole world underneath and shout out to the sky! That would be awesome!
Another Planet.
I would leave this planet for a moment and see another world entirely. I want to see how other planet looks like. What creatures exist over there, how they look like and how they behave. I will go to as many planet as possible and have a wonderful weekend experience.
As long as I am immortal for that moment I will try these out because Opportunity comes but once and can never be regained. I might not get a chance like this ever again. I finally got a chance to things I'm even scared of because they are dangerous and life threatening adventures and I got a chance to do something I wouldn't even dare to do while I'm a mortal. I would spend my weekend this way.

My Boiling Point
"We all have different boiling point some of us are easily angered, others are really cool tempered. Kindly share one thing that make you angry. How long do you stay mad, and what or who can pacify you.
This is the answer to another entry I made for a hive contest.
I am very a cool headed person. I am always calm and hardly gets angry but we all have what makes us angry. No matter how well reserved one is, there's something that makes us angry. I am not exempted from this. I have just one thing that makes me really angry.
We all have a time in our life when we would like to be alone, probably we are busy with something or we would like to think of something important. I always have that time in my life when I just stay alone and think, I gets busy alone and needed a time alone, sometimes I stay alone because I am upset about something or someone I needed time to be alone because I want to calm myself down. I stay alone sometimes because I need to read and study, I can't allow noise to distract me so I stay alone. All these quiet moment are very important and I can't anyone to ruin that moment. Some people closer to me knew already that I can't be disturbed anytime I want to stay alone and quiet.
I'm always angered anytime I see someone frustrating me at that time. It might be intentionally or it might be jokingly but I can do something I would later regret if anybody upsets or disturb me at that moment. I have a guy back in school that always disturb me once in a while he likes it when he keeps frustrating many girls including he wants to see them angry and then he would run away. That's his nature and plays alot. He came to me at the wrong time one day. I was very quiet that day and I didn't talk to anybody because of my mood. He came to me and I told me I am not in the mood to play and he should leave me alone for that moment but he refused and continued bothering me, he wants me to give him attention and fight and I retaliate I injured him that very moment because he has frustrated me and I was very angry. I felt some kind of pity for him because I injured him but I hope he would understand that I warned him before I take action. After some moments I calm myself down and sometimes I listen to music to relieve myself of that anger. Music is one thing that calms me down anytime I am angry.
I don't like it when I am disturbed or frustrated anytime I'm alone and quiet. To them they just want to play and disturb someone at that moment jokingly but for me it's really a frustration and a pain in the neck.

Far beyond Friendship
There's always some kind of happiness and joy we feel when we stay with the right person I mean nice person. It's comfortable and easier to talk and relate with them than any other person. No matter their flaws or mistakes we accept them because they are better than those out there we hardly know nor have anything to do with them. In friendship or any relationship we find ourselves, there will always be argument and misunderstanding, but what really matters is how we handle these dispute among ourselves and reconcile because I believe we fight to know ourselves better.
Sometimes I wonder how some people are so lucky to be surrounded with many friends that are nice and good. They hardly stay alone on their own. There is always someone to accompany them to wherever they go. Sometimes you will wonder how come many people knows this very person so much that you don't even know these person. These types of people gets what they want easily because they are always surrounded with different people that can help them anytime. However there are some people that are so unlucky when it comes to friendship. They have tried so many times but they just unlucky. Yes. There are people like that. Someone challenged me sometimes ago why I always walk alone with my earphones. It's funny but I answer honestly that I don't have close friends and I'm not a clingy type but the truth is there are sometimes when I'm jealous of those with true and genuine friends walking and doing things together.
From school, our home, our environment and church, we are all entangled with many people either we like them or not. There's no way you can hide from them because they are always everywhere and they are always there to take advantage of your goodness. What should we call a friendship that has no true love. Yes, I mean true love. There are so many many people in your life that are only close to you because they have a privilege or an opportunity they are enjoying with you. Are there not? I have them as well. And if anyone asks you the define that relationship, what will be the response? "Just my friend" or " Someone I know"?
I find it funny anytime I hear the reasons why some friends or lovers fight. I remember one vividly, these people have been dating for a while and I learnt they had a misunderstanding, the lady happens to be a friend of mine. She asked the guy for an airtime and the guy couldn't provide that at that moment she needed it because he had no money with him at that moment. Then, the guy ask me to beg her on his behalf because she is upset with me and refuses to talk to her. But the real me will not beg her for that stupid quarrel, I scolded her and talked sense into her. Was she in a relationship with the guy because of what she wants from him? My effort yielded no result because they eventually break-up. That kind of relationship is not a serious relationship in the first place.
Are we staying in the right relationship? Are we with the right person. Those who value your worth and know you for who you're. Not those who needs what you have. What's your worth with your friends?

A Terrorist Hideout
Good day, amazing writers. I hope we all had a great day. I have been unable to write and interact lately due to power failure in my area. I guess I'm back now.
This is another entry I made for the weekend engagement concept on hive.
The question is: You can place a hidden camera, microphone and a recording device in any room on this planet for twenty fours hours, in the past, present or future, what room to do you place it in and why?
I agree that I have always been curious about a lot of things. I wonder a lot about what people are thinking. Sometimes, I wished I had the power to read a person's mind to know what the person is actually thinking about me or know whatever he is planning to do with me.
But honestly, if I have the chance to place a hidden camera somewhere for just twenty four hours. I will definitely use it for a good deed not for my own selfish interest. I will place a hidden camera and a recording decide in a terrorist hideout.
The crime rate in my country is increasing day by day and it has leave many lives in danger. The major crime is kidnapping and killings. We have been in this situation in my country for long and it seems to have been increasing tremendously these days. Unknown men will raid a particular area, churches inclusive and kill many innocent lives, bandits attacks travellers on the road and on the train and kidnap the passengers and it seems that nothing has been done to curb this current situation. They demand a huge amount of money from the families of these victims and failure to meet up to their demand and deadline will result to termination of the victim's life.
Personally, I haven't experienced this, but I know many whose lives have been in danger due to this insecurity. They have suffered unjustly in the hands of these kidnappers. Some were lucky to escape, while some eventually lost their life but they were never a pleasant experience and situation. There's no happy story or narration to talk about.
If there really a chance for me to install an hidden camera it would be these terrorist's hideout. If it's just for a whole day, I will become an informant for securities, private dectectives and many other individuals. Many lives will be saved within these twenty fours hours. Many people will be lucky not to have fallen a victim of any unfavorable circumstances. I strongly believe that if my information within that twenty fours is put into a perfect consideration, many of these terrorist will be arrested and put to justice.

Life is like a Dream
In the face of challenges and difficulties. Life seems like a dream to Lucy. As a child who has learnt to be dependent on her own and fight alone, it seems like a dream when things start turning around for her good. She was abandoned at the orphanage home since she was 6 months old. Her birth wasn't planned by her single mother she left her at the orphanage after her birth because she need to go study abroad and the baby is an obstacle for her.
Lucy learnt to be alone since she was told her own story. She knew there is no chance that her mother would come back for her and that she needs to survive no matter what. She is quite strong and energetic. She works out her way herself even if she needs to plead and beg several times. She begs for part time jobs to earn money for herself. She begs her teachers to allow her participate anytime there is a competition or a contest, she wants to be recognized and acknowledged because she knew that's the only way she could survive. She needs to enter college soon and it seems there is no way for her because she can't afford the fees. The orphanage home is in charge of her education and they support her in the best way they can, but there's a limit to what they can do because it's a private organization that lacks support and partnership. At the age of 18 she herself has been an influence to her junior at the orphanage, she would encourage and support them not to give up and learn to be independent she used herself as an example for them as she would always tell them her own story. Many of these children no longer have a parent but Lucy had one but was abandoned. She is gifted with the ability to sing. She sings melodiously everywhere. That's her antidote. She sings to make herself happy. She sings to encourage and motivate herself. She sings every where and anytime.
And yes! When it's time for her to be heard by the whole world. She did it. Lucy applied for a part-time job at a coffee shop near her orphanage home. She always find something to do for herself. She's still waiting for a miracle that will make her go study in the college. One fateful night. The coffee shop is closed for the day as they have reached the closing hour. She cleans the table and scrubs the floor together with other workers, Lucy sings as she works as usual. She is always like that. She sings while working. Unknowingly, a man walks in hoping to get a coffee he was told that they have closed for the day. As he turn back to leave, Lucy resumes singing thinking the man had left, but the man is stucked at the door dumbfounded and shocked. He was amazed by the voice of this young lady she sings his own song perfectly than he himself. Yes! The man is the owner of the song Lucy was singing at that moment but nobody seems to recognize him because he had a face cap on to cover his face. The man moved close to Lucy and it was then that Lucy recognizes him and everyone was shocked.
The amazing encounter Lucy had with this popular singer changed her life. The man offered to sponsor her education alongside her singing talent. Her voice began to gain recognition in the world and slowly she is starting to become a great person. It seems like a dream for Lucy, she never imagined that her singing talent would make way for her. She just needed money to go study in the college but she got something greater than that.

Theft and Burglary in my Community
There have been some recent cases of robbery and theft in my Community for the past two months. On Sundays and at night, thiefs break into houses and shops and steals their properties and money. Many have run into debt because of this. I have heard of many cases where these robbers would break into shops and rob them of their sales and business money, including loan. It's very unfortunate. Another case I heard is of a woman who sell cloths; shirts and Jean trousers. Burglars break into her shop in the middle of the night and stole her cloths worth $200. Just a week ago, one of them was caught and arrested. He had gone into the house as usual while the family are not around. He is not aware that the husband is close to the house, he removed their plasma television and other things, he even packed their eggs from the kitchen 😂😂 but got caught red-handed and arrested by the police. It didn't end with that, robbery cases on homes and shops continue to spread like a wild fire. These robbery cases are very close to the area I live that I became scared of staying at home alone.
While we were in church for service this week, a man had to rush home to check his house because he was called that there's another robbery attack in his area. The service ended and we all got into the car to go home. Just as we are about to reach out house, we saw crowds forming up and a police vehicle from a distance. We had to park to know what's going on. A man informed us that the thief had been caught, he has been dealt with by the local vigilantes of the community who caught him. He was beaten up blue black and was stripped naked, they paraded him round the community and people shouted "thief" "thief" on him. How he was caught was thanks to a man who went home early on that Sunday and called the vigilantes. For the whole day, news and videos of this naked thief filled the social media.
When the police interrogated him, they found out that he was from another state/town. He came with a car with an accomplice but he was the only one caught. They found more than 30 phones and laptops in his house and many other stolen items. He admitted that, he sells them as "second hand" materials in "Ibadan".
I suspected that there is a mole somewhere, there's no way an outsider will know the nooks and crannies of the community without an informant.
My Final Thought on this:
How come he had the audacity to come from somewhere else and rob in another community? He has no job? Has he been doing this for long? The moment he was stripped naked and beaten, has he ever thought of the punishment and the level of disgrace he would receive if he got caught before indulging into such? What is the real motive behind stealing and robbery. Is it poverty? Or greed? Or anything else. Would like to hear your thought on this?

My Favorite Outfit
This is another entry I made for the weekend engagement concept on Hive last week.
"If you had to wear the same outfit every day for the rest of your life what would you choose and why?
It took a long time for before I am finally able to write on this topic. I have some outfits that I do wear on frequent occasions but only one still remain my favorite out of them all.
If I were to wear a particular outfit everyday for the rest of my life I would choose my favourite dress, my black gown with my red kimono jacket. This combination and the color was perfect for me. I choose to wear this same outfit for almost all outings because it was my favorite. My mum had once scolded me why I wear the same outfit for almost every occasion and outings especially on Sundays, but, honestly I don't mind wearing them everyday if need be friends always smile and compliment me anytime I wore this dress in their presence.
Why I like this particular dress. A flashback to when I started learning fashion designing, I would always gather money to get myself a fabric just to try out a particular style I have seen outside or on the internet. So I got myself a black fabric from the market and made a very beautiful dress. I didn't like the dress then for some reasons but I was very proud for the fact that I made the dress myself. Then my dad gave me a red fabric as a gift, I was so happy because it made the cloth came right on time, it made the perfect combination I thought of at that moment. I used the red fabric to make an armless kimono jacket which I meant to wear on top of the black gown I had sewed earlier and it was perfect.
Since then, I liked to wear both outfit and I won't mind wearing them everyday. I like this cloth and I wore it because I liked the pride I always have anytime people saw me wearing this outfit, I would gladly tell them I made the dress myself and I got a lot of compliments which makes me happy. Even though I have made many more dresses apart from this particular one, it still remained my favorite of all. I wore anytime of shoe on it whenever I am wearing this outfit though I wear sneakers or heels most time.
Part of this outfit was gifted by my dad and part of it was bought by myself which was part of the reasons why I like the dress and the dress had made me outstanding among others. Many have always described me as "the lady in a red jacket" and all sorts of descriptions and they all pleasing to me.

Daily Biz
Hello! It's a "good evening" from here. I hope we all had a great day? I really had an hectic day today. I was busy running errands in the early hours of today, I trekked a long distance today that I didn't even expect, although it's nothing compared to the ones I do walk back in school. But I have walked such a long distance for a while now so it made me extremely exhausted, I came back home around 12:00 noon and the first thing I did was to have my 'so called breakfast" Yes, it's a breakfast because I haven't had anything till then or I would rather call it a brunch. After resting for a while I had to start sewing my cloth which I had cut the previous day, I went to market with mum and passed by our customers shop who sells clothing materials. Then I started eyeing this fine materials 😂😂 after my mom persuaded me to buy is since I said it's beautiful, I had to buy it even though I never had it in mind to get the fabric. And yes, tommorow is sunday, I decided to sew the cloth and wear it to church tomorrow. It's funny right? It wasn't planned. Sunday is the only day I go out since the ASUU strike except on a rare occasions. Sunday is the only day I can dress to my satisfaction and form my own "buga"😂
After two hours on the sewing machine, I resumed to the kitchen, I'm actually in charge of making snacks for the house and I like baking a lot even though I never practiced it as a skill. I made it for my family and for our visitors. I spent the next four hours in the kitchen making snacks thank God I didn't 'do rubbish' at the end. Anytime I am extremely tired or fed up of doing a particular work. I would end up spoiling everything. I finally made my snacks and finally had time to rest. I couldn't finish my clothe on time because there was power outage so I resumed when the light was restored and I just finished the dress not quite long.
Today's Random Thought.
Earlier in the day, my mum got a call about a new church member of ours who had just lost his wife. I learnt from my mum that his wife was bedridden and the man too was just managing his health. I felt bad about the old man's situation. My mum went for the burial and came back with a lot of gist. She told me a lot happened at the burial today. Many accused the children of the late woman of abandoning their parents, they were not taken care of properly and their health was in danger. Even while the woman was bedridden, they failed to take care of her. Amazingly, today they made a befitting burial for her. They testified of how good their mum was to them and said a lot of "sweet talks".
My dad made a statement "A befitting life or a befitting burial". Part of the essence of raising up a child is for the child to take care of their parents while they are old. It's the child responsibility to take care of his parent. This parent had been our all in all, they catered for our needs, struggled to train us in the right way, why then should we abandoned then when we are grown. I feel a befitting life would be better than a befitting burial, what would be the essence of the money one lavishes on the day of the burial whereas we have failed to spend that money on the parent when they are alive. I feel we should check our selves very well. Have we been good to our parents and everyone around us. Regret comes in when one realises that he is no longer able to do what he is supposed to do before.

Setting a Standard
The level of quality, achievement or attainment is a standard. Something set up and established by an authority, or a person as a rule or the measure of value or quality.
Setting standards is like setting a principle or quality for yourself that will guide you by taking control of these qualities in your life. When you set a standard for yourself, there are things you will accept for yourself, your habits, 'dos' and 'donts' and these can help make ourselves a better life. These are things you not only accept for yourself but also things you cannot accept from others. Things you cannot do for yourself are also things you cannot do to others when setting a standard. Setting standard that are achieveable for yourself will help you find the best of your ability and potential. The standards you raise for yourself are not irrelevant when they are applicable in the right way.
Anthony Robbins says "Anytime you want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards"
It means there are things you must accept, do and neglect in your life to make a change. In order to achieve a goal in life, you have to set yourself a standard that is to live and behave in a certain way. The way others treat you depends on the kind of standard you set and raise for yourself. They include habits, mode of dressing orderliness and other essential qualities that others should see in a man. You build up expectations from yourself when you set a standard, you are willing to do things the way you want for you to get the result you want. Setting a standard also determine the quality of our lives.
What standard do you have as a father, a teacher, a student? You should ask yourself what you want to achieve, you can only set a standard based on your goals or what you want to achieve. How do you want to live to achieve these goals.
Let us raise a standard for ourselves. We should set a standard for ourselves and live by it. There are qualities others will see in us. These qualities will raise a standard for us when others see us. Our goals are achieveable, our qualities are standardised.
The standards we raise for ourselves determine the type of goals we would like to achieve and the type of person we wish to be. Standards are the rules we set for ourselves and live by them.

Complaint and Compliment
Last week I make an entry for a weekend engagement concept on hive. I feel I should share my answer on read cash too.
What is the biggest complaint you have about a person in your life? Also what is the biggest compliment you could pay the same person? That's the question ask on the Weekend Experience Community on Hive.
I honestly believe everyone has their own flaws. There this common saying "To err is to human" It means humans are bound to make mistakes. So there is nobody without flaws. At the same time nobody is called 'Mr Perfect' There are definitely some complaint people are making about you and there is something you are good at that people compliment you about.
When I first gained admission into the University, I was advised to stay on campus in my first year. My brother told me alot of things I would gain and experience, but of course there are disadvantages also. I will have to share a room with those I don't know. I became very worried because since I left boarding house, I have shared my room with nobody. What happen if I don't like this girl's way of life? Well, I resumed late, so many of them have resumed before me. I had a lot of complaint at first, I hate noise, but they like it. I can't sleep without the light off, but these girls are scared of switching off the light at night. I preferred reading in my room but these girls are just so noisy, I can't concentrate when I'm reading inside. I endured everything because I knew I will soon get used to it and as time went on, I adapted to this new environment, I managed myself as you know the nature of man is Improvising.
After some few months, it looked like we now know each other perfectly and we get along very well. We shared things together and shared some happy moments together. But after the COVID Pandemic, some didn't resume with us because they already have another place to stay off campus so we are now three in the room.
There is this particular roommate of mine that resumed with us. I had a lot of complaint about her. She's so noisy and disturbing. No matter how much you tell her to reduce her noise she just wouldn't stop. She plays music at the highest volume, she sings at the highest tone of her voice even at night I find it very difficult to sleep because she sleeps very late and even snores in her sleep. I was very frustrated at her behavior and I was surprised that I didn't know her to be this kind of person before.
Through all of that. This girl is very nice and kind hearted. She had a free mind with everybody. She is an hardworking type and would help you with so many things. She would willingly clean the room and even help you with other house chores without complaint. Yes we do call her "mummy of the house" she would simply correct you of every mistake you do. We all have this person in our lifes that we don't like something about the person but we shouldn't look at their bad side only they have something good in them and we should appreciate them for that.

Diary of An Abused Child
Hello Fellow Writers! It's not too late to wish you the best in this new month. I have been away for a while due to some personal reasons and I am glad to be back after a while. I will just share a fictitious story for now.
This story tells of a young boy named Junior, he lost his parent at the age of 10. He started living with his uncle who adopted him. This uncle of his and his wife never had their own child at that time. When junior was just adopted, they treated him nicely because he has just lost his parents and he would see them no more, he was still young so he felt the pain of losing his parents. They tried as much as possible to make him happy but after few months, their real nature begins to unfold. They treated him like an house boy, he would run errands and work tirelessly for the whole day without resting. He did everything they asked him to do without complaining but yet his newly abducted mother was not satisfied with him, she hated him because he is not her biological son.
Shortly after junior was abducted she was already pregnant with her own child so she had no reason to care of Junior. She just used him as she pleased. She refused to feed him from the same pot she's eating from, sometimes, Junior feeds on her leftovers. He shouldn't be seen sitting down with them, he should remain in the room. Junior's uncle sees everything but he remained silent. He has also changed the ownership of his late brother's property to his own. He derived Junior of his father's properties. Junior had no choice than to endure this sufferings, he had nowhere to go and he was actually betrayed by his own family. When his wife gave birth to their first child, he would happily carry this baby and play with her, but the mother would beat him and warn him not to touch his baby.
In the face of everyone outside, they looked like an happy family but inside, Junior is facing pains, betrayal and sadness. He hardly talks in school, he is always alone and sad. He had no reason to talk because the woman had warned him severally not to say anything to anybody. He was still scared then but after few years he summoned courage to face his studies, that's the only way he could survive and leave that hell he called house.
After many years of being abused and being deprived of a good and comfortable life. Junior decided to run away from home, he wails and crys every night, he felt the outside world would be better than this and that someone out there might be willing to help him. He is no longer scared of what might happen to him, he couldn't bear the pain and the trouble anymore. Everything he did was just not right with his so called mother and father. They treated him differently from their own kids, he wears the clothes they have discarded, they never buy new clothes for him, their food is always special than his. He left the house to an unknown destination, he was tired of everything, he left hoping for a better life.

Young Dreams
Daniel and Sandra were both childhood friends, they grew up in the same neighborhood and attended the same school since they were both young and now, they got into the same college. Daniel dreamt of becoming a singer, he had made a debut with a band last year but he left because of his parent's pressure from home. They want him to become a lawyer just like his father and they sent to a popular college.
Sandra on the other hand was just an ordinary girl raised by a single parenthood she dreamt of becoming a ballerina; a ballet dancer but her mother couldn't afford to sponsor her so she had to go for a free course in the college where she won't be paying her fees. Instead of pursuing her do become a ballet dancer she was forced to study business administration because she was on sponsorship.
Daniel and Sandra were both friends but they couldn't help themselves at that point. But despite that they both help themselves in their own ways. Anytime Daniel leaves to practice his songs with his friends, Sandra always put in for him, she's quite brilliant and intelligent so she will help him with class assessment and assignments. She had helped him by providing excuses anytime his parents called to ask of his wellbeing. She would always tell them he is in the library studying whereas he is singing at his friend's studio. Daniel also provides her space for her to practice her ballet dances everytime, he uses the fact that he is from a rich family and his father his known everywhere for his best friend's advantage. To the best of his ability he always support Sandra and her dream.
They both continued to be each other's support till they were both caught one day. Daniel's parent decides to visit their son in school unannounced, Daniel was at his usual spot with his friends where they are always writing songs and singing. Sandra was busy practicing her ballet dance moves in his room. She does this at his place because Daniel lives alone but she had two roommates in her room. Meanwhile her mum had warned her not to dance again. As soon as Daniel's parents got into his room, they were all shocked and surprised. At that point, she had no choice but to confess, she had been telling lies about Daniel all these while to his parents.
Daniel's father was a very strict man, he would go at any length to punish them both, he wants Sandra out of the school, he knew her presence would always encourage Daniel to go against his command of his studying Law so he wants her out of the college. He gave Sandra's mother some cash telling her to take care of her daughter or he will chase her out himself. Her mother had no choice than to tell her daughter to withdraw, she was scared of what that man will do to his daughter of she refuses. Daniel on the other hand was so furious that his father would do such, meanwhile, he has been locked inside for the whole day and there's nothing he could do to save Sandra.
Such is the story of two young dreams facing all odds and objections.

Random Questions to Ponder On
Good Evening to these amazing Co writers, how has been your day so far? Today I will be sharing more of my views and thoughts about some other questions as I have said in my last article.
What or Who do you compare yourself to?
While I was a little bit younger I used to compare myself a lot with others. Everytime I meet new people I compare them with myself, their current status, whether rich or poor, their dressing, their appearance and their attitude. I used to consider myself inferior to many others I come in contact with, I have failed to realise then that outward appearance does not matter and that people are not born the same way and will never be the same. So I stop comparing myself with others.
What life lessons do you ponder on?
"What you reap you sow"
This word teaches us to be of good behavior wherever we find ourselves, wherever we find ourselves we should endeavor to make things right and be good to others too. There is no gain in doing evil because it will surely come back. That's the law of karma. I used to ponder on this a lot because it is relevant everywhere. If a child's behavior is bad and you see a lot of people saying negative things about such child the they should really check his parents behavior in the past. All those bad things many have been doing to others thinking it's gone, no it's not, it will surely come back to such person.
What is more valuable: material possessions or a loving family?
Well, whoever asks this question has a reason for putting these two together. Materials possessions can fade away, our more treasured possession can be lost or stolen but we can always get them back but once a family is lost it can never be regained. Family is more important than material possessions we should cherish our loved ones while they are still alive so we won't regret our actions when they are gone. Families are lovable and they are supportive.
Is learning from mistakes better than succeeding the first time?
Yes the former is definitely better. Learning from one's mistakes is actually better than succeeding the first time. Because you have gone through the pain of failure and mistakes, we learn from our mistakes to do better, and it will serve as a guide and caution for us in the next trial. Succeeding for the first is good but it has its disadvantage if the person fails or makes mistake later, it discourages one.

Random Questions to Ponder On
Here are some questions I got that I think it needs a deep weigh in the mind before one can answer these questions.
What are you holding that's holding you back?
Not everyone is privileged or destined to be surrounded with friends that will impact your life in a positive way. And not everyone is destined to have a very close friend enough to lead one right. Few years past, I was holding on to friendship, I felt it's everyone that have friends so why won't I have one? So I tried everything possible to hold onto friendship even though things do not look good. I felt the fault was from myself so I danced to their tunes and did some things I didn't even want to do, somethings that does not even benefit me, somethings that I don't even like, but I realized that's not my way. I cannot beg myself to be loved or cherished. I can do better on my own, friends are meant to support each other and find better ways to progress. I didn't mean friends are not meant to be kept or cherished. I am just unlucky with the type of friends I had then.
Why do some people resist change while others embrace it?
In one of my previous articles, I noted that changes have to come in if one is looking for a different and better result. Who knows, those that resist change are not looking for a different or better ways of doing things. They have decided to stick to that old ways of doing things and maintain the status quo. Another reason I think many do not embrace change is that it's very difficult to change an habit. An usual and regular way of doing things or behaving, it's take a lot of determination to resist that constant habit and change them.
When was the last time you tried something new?
Trying something new makes one learn more, to be more creative, it's help one to be able to risk somethings too and benefit from it. As a fashion designer, I tried new designs and patterns on clothing materials and that has bring a lot of positive effects to me, at times it might be risky because I have never tried it before, but I have never regretted trying new things, It always comes out nice and once in a while if I don't get it, that failure gives me a new and better way of trying that same method in another way, fixing the mistakes and getting an amazing result. I can't really remember the last time I tried something new, but the latest one I remembered vividly was when I was sowing mum's cloth, there's a particular style I had in mind which I feel it will look nice on her, I haven't tried it before and I was a bit scared if I will get it right at first attempt but then I summoned courage and tried it out and it's better than the ones her previous designer had made for her while I was away, many people compliment the dress and even my mum couldn't even believe it's my first time of sewing that particular design.
Is it true that there's a soul mate for everyone?
Yes I believe it and it is true. There's a soul mate destined for every man and by God's divine arrangements they meets themselves and unite.

I Will Always Find You
Nobody can fill the longing in my soul. Nothing can fill the emptiness in my heart. I have tried to comfort myself, pretended to be okay, as if I didn't miss you, but no, I was only deceiving myself. Every moment brings a flashback of those good times we have had together. While alone, I would always smile to myself because I remembered every moments we have shared together. Even though I was so young and clueless, we had so much fun together, we always landed in trouble and received punishment together from our parents, sometimes, you get the punishment alone because you are the eldest among us, but even that we were still close. I remembered how you cared for me and showered me with love and attention. Not minding the age gap between us, we played together as if we were of the same age. I remembered all the trouble I made you pass through. Then I was rest assured and had so much confidence because you have always supported me.
Even till now, you have always been my source of inspiration and motivator and will always. After your departure I tried to do a lot of things you used to do back then but they were not just as perfect as yours it's difficult to do them in your absence and I wish you are still here with us. While growing up I decided to start doing a lot of things you did back then, I started drawing even though they were not as perfect as yours, every corner of the house is filled with your drawings likewise writings, everytime I'm alone I would pick up my pen and write, I wrote so many things but they couldn't meet your standards, and no matter how much stories I wrote, they are not as much as yours. I started learning guitar, I picked up interest playing it because whenever I saw a guitar, it's reminds me of you, I started learning them and picked interest in it that I really like it.
And yes, I got the same prices you got in secondary days, I remembered the number of prices you got during your valedictory service and when it's my turn, when I got to secondary school I got the best student in the exact subjects you got yours. The only thing I knew I couldn't do was stage performance, in church and in school your dramas were so perfect and entertaining but no matter how much I tried I just couldn't do it because of stage fright, I only did it once and I never tried it ever again.
Yes, it's Eleven years now, but I still wish you were here, who knows I would have been more confident than I am right now, I would be more brilliant than I am right now, we all would be more happy than we were right now. Through you, I got to meet so many of your friends and many other people because you were jovial and accommodating but they are nowhere to be found because you are no more with us.

Sunday Message
Its not to late to say Happy Sunday to my fellow writers. Have a productive Week ahead. Today's write up is based on the things I learnt in church today during our class discussion.
Unfaithfulness;
Unfaithfulness is being untruthful or just. Disloyalty and failure to fulfill your duty or promises. As a parent to his children, as a servant to his master, as a leader to his dear citizen are we all faithful to our roles and duties. Unfaithfulness also means betrayal, when a man refuses to fulfil whatever he has promised to do to his fellow neighbor or friend. Unfaithfulness in friendship, unfaithfulness in marriage, unfaithfulness to your true self, all have it's consequences.
While discussing in class this morning in church, a man says one can even be unfaithful to oneself. He tells the story of a man who is sick and needs treatment. He has enough money to treat himself but he is foolish enough to decide not to spend money in his own self. At the detriment of his state of health. His body worked and made the money for him, so why can't he just take part of the money and treat himself. Eventually the man died.
Another instance I heard of is of a child who refuses to takes care of his parents while they are grown. This parents suffered and struggled to bring him up and after he has become successful and rich, he abandoned his parents and siblings. He has the capacity of helping his siblings in one way or the other either by getting them a job, helping them financially and rendering them assistance.
Marital vows and promises are been broken and forgotten by many couples nowadays.Why are these happening. Before marriage, while dating and still courting they have shared unending promises and vows together. But later in marriage they have broken these vows hy been unfaithful to themselves. Unfaithfulneess has its consequences. As a family we have leaders in our home which happens to be our parents what kind of example will they exhibit if they remain unfaithful to their duties and responsibilities like husband cheating on the wife or the wife cheating on the husband, failure to train their child and provide for their wellbeing, neglecting all their roles and duties as married partners and as a parent to their children. They are all unfaithfulness.
Unfaithfulness on the leaders side includes making an unfulfilled promises. We have allowed ourselves to be deceived too much by these politicians. During campaign, in an attempt to convince people to vote for them, they make all sorts of promises which they have failed to fulfil when they have eventually gotten to that position.
Unfaithfulness in whatever way has its own consequences. We should take responsibility for any word that comes out of our mouth and remain faithful to our duties and responsibilities.

What Does Powerful Men Seek?
A very strong influence or ability to control somebody, people, an organization or a nation. The will to govern or rule over a large number of people and make decisions is power. People from the upper class are regarded as the most powerful. As they will always say "there's nothing you cannot acquire with money" They made up that awful statement whenever they want to achieve something, they have the whole world at their feet as they can command and make any decision favourable to them. As long as they have money, they do whatever they like, and as been said that you cannot acquire power without money. Is that really true?
Some people desired to be rich while some desired to be powerful. However, there are many today, that are very rich yet they have a very strong desire to be more powerful. For a man that is already rich and an influencer, known as a multi billoniare is seeking for a powerful position by all means especially the one that serves as a detriment to citizen's life and the society, what is really the motive behind that?
Greed. It is the motive behind every selfish interest in acquiring power in a dubious means. It's so unfortunate that we are governed by these so called greedy and selfish leaders whose only motivate is to acquire wealth and power excessively. Many of these people have trampled upon the poor, shed innocent blood, cheated in one way or the other just to acquire what they desire. It is greed and selfishness that will make a man appoint his own family and loved ones into a position that they are not even qualified for because he has an ulterior motives.
What do powerful men really desire? You have acquired enough wealth for your whole family, you have invested a lot in businesses and you have influenced your family in a way that they can never be poor for the rest of their lives. Why then are you still craving for what is not yours. Greediness and Power does not have it's peak. You keep desiring it more and more even if it means getting rid of any stumbling blocks before you.
Greed for power and money can turn a good man into worst. It detaches man and take the whole of him. It corrupts the mind totally, just like a poison when taken spreads and destroy the whole body system so is greediness and excessive quest for power.
Great men do not influence badly. They do not trample upon the poor and the needy they are interested and concerned in the interest of others. They are kind and generous, they do not allow selfishness to mount wings on them. They impact positively into people's life. They invest in young dreams and build a better future for them and a better country to live in. A society where the needs of the people will be considered the top most priority.
Any other man seeking for power for his own selfish interest and desire. What should we call them?

The Wonders of Nature
Nature is the physical world including plants, trees, forests and animals and other features of the earth. The Natural scenery of an environment or beautiful creatures is called nature. It can also be called the Natural Earth and the things on it or the material world existing among mankind. As we sleep and wake up every day, we have encountered nature in different ways, the fact that we are awake after a long night rest is nature, the change in weather also, either cool or hot is natural. Nature brings life and God provides us with them all so we can enjoy them and have good life. What are the beautiful works nature have done to our existence.
Nature Beautifies.
Nature provides beauty to many things. Artisans, artists, photographers all depend on nature as a source of inspiration, imagine an artist who is asked to provide a background picture for a wallpaper and the artist draws a beautiful flower or a blossom tree. He got his idea from the natural things in his environment. Woods, Silk materials and many raw materials used as a tool are also gotten from the natural things in our environment.
Nature Heals.
Another wonderful works of nature is that nature heals and improves our physical health. It also helps us to be more active. Many of us have been healed from sickness or ailment naturally without the use of medicine while many others depend on herbs and leaves as a medicine. The food we eat also makes us healthy and strong.
Hospitals, and health centres depend solely on medicine and these medicines are all gotten from nature.
Provides Human Needs.
Our country, our society provides us with foods that makes us healthy through the power of nature. The forest provides different kinds of animals and birds for human consumption. It also provides timbers and woods used for furnitures. Oceans and Rivers gives us different kinds of seafoods. We rely on these foods that makes us healthy and provides us with good health. Everything essential for human to survive are all provided by nature.
Nature makes our environment clean and neat. The cool air for instance, helps prevent air pollution and provides us with cool weather. Rain also helps provide a cool atmosphere.
There are many wonders nature have done to us in many other ways that I haven't mentioned. Nature brings Life, we are all living and breathing fine all thanks to nature. All Thanks to God who endowed us with these natural things.

An Unfavorable Circumstance
Breakups, Suicide, Divorce and the likes, there are always an heart breaking stories behind these scenario. It has gotten to the point where there seems to be no other way, like the whole world is totally against oneself, the decision is a big one to make. It's always a big risk to take.
Olivia was just an ordinary girl born into a noble family, she likes hunting, and at a very young age of 14, her shooting skills is a very perfect one, she goes hunting everyday and comes back with different kinds of animals, birds, antelope and the likes. She made friends with a lot of people especially a particular family who saved her from a snake bite some years back. Since then, she had been indebted to the family.
Olivia met another guy of her age, who also likes hunting games in the forest, their first meeting was an unpleasant one as they both seems incompatible. Olivia saved him from snake bite the next time they met, she took him to the family that saved her earlier. Since then, they had been best friends and they get along easily.
After few years of friendship it's time for both of them to get married. At that time, parents give their child for marriage at a very young age. Olivia's father informed her daughter that it's time for her to get married that she should prepare herself in the next few days, whereas Olivia likes George her friend, so she disagreed with her father to get married to someone she does not know. After many hours of anxiety she decided to go see for herself the so called husband she's to marry. Lo and Behold, it's George, she was very happy that the arranged marriage worked for her favour. And they got married. For the next 20 years of her marriage, these couple remained devoted to themselves, George's mother hated her so much because she has refused to give her a grandchild. She had planned to marry another lady for her son severally but George would always turn down her request. He likes his wife and does not need another one.
An unfortunate incidence occured on a broad daylight in their village, Olivia's husband who was a warrior had gone with his army to fight on behalf to their village. Before his arrival, troops of army invaded their village taking many in captive and killing many. Those that were captured were ladies and Olivia was among them, she was caught while trying to save her maid. George came back home only to discover to unfortunate incidence, and the fact that his wife was among those that were captured broke his heart. He immediately climes his horse and leaves to rescue his wife.
Olivia, among those that were captured were bonded with ropes on their necks. However, she sighted a plant closer to where they were, she had recognized this plant to be poisonous since she was young. They all planned among themselves to to put these in their meal. Since that's the only way for them to escape. And they succeded. They all died after taken the meal and the women successfully escaped back to their village. When George got to where they were taken captive, he only met the warriors dead body.
However, when these women came back home, they were never accepted, different rumours about them spread like a wildfire. It was believed then that ladies who were captured can only return after satisfying those who captured them sexually. Nobody believed them, people throw stones at them anytime there were sighted outside including Olivia. Only her husband believed in her. Everybody else including her mother in law frustrated her. They called her different names, 'a whore' 'harlot' 'shameless' yet she endured everything. Her husband had killed three men who were gossiping about her, they called her a shameless woman who was pregnant for an unknown man. She couldn't bear these any longer. The rumours will continue and her husband will continue killing everyone caught gossiping about her. One night, her mother gave her a knife, she told Olivia if she would rather die and keep her dignity or continue living shamelessly and tarnishing her husband's image.
Olivia killed herself by slashing her wrist with the knife her mother in law gave her. Everyone was responsible for her death, the unfortunate incidence that occurred in her village, the gossips by the people, and her mother in law.
At that point she had no other choice than to save herself and her husband, even though she shouldn't have done that because her husband loved her in the midst of those groundless rumours.

Struggle for Freedom
Freedom is a state of being liberated or free from bondage, struggle, slavery or restraint. There is a power or authority holding one in captivity. It might be an established political system or a powerful governing authority or someone in position of power that is capable of holding one back from attaining the power to act or speak or move as one wants. A power denying man an access to his or her right. Freedom is liberation from servitude or bondage. A fight for freedom is a struggle against powers or authorities putting man in bondage or captivity.
We are all familiar with series of stories we have heard or read of how African countries gained Independence. It's not easy for these countries have been governed by their colonial masters; the British empires. Gaining Independence from them means they want to be totally free from their slavery and bondage but it was real fight and struggle which resulted into the loss of many lives.
A fight for freedom can be very violent and destructive because it's a fight against an authority or person higher and powerful than oneself. These authority will try everything possible to threaten which results in destruction of lifes and properties. I will be sharing with us two stories behind a struggle for Freedom, a real fight for struggle and how they never gave up. It's a story we might have gotten familiar with, but I have been moved with these two most.
Sarafina
A movie based on a true life story. A young girl who led a fight for freedom in South Africa. The struggle began with Nelson Mandela who sought for freedom against the apartheid policy in 1948. A system of segregation against the black citizens of South Africa. A racial segregation. Nelson Mandela who began this fight was arrested and imprisoned for 27 years. While he was still in prison, this fight for freedom continued.
A group of students, led by a young girl named Sarafina raised an army for protest. They have learnt the truth from their teacher, who told them the story of how the white man came and overpowered them in their Homeland. Many of her classmates were killed, imprisoned and tortured including herself, she was arrested and tortured on an electronic chair but she made Mandela an icon and continued their fight. She keeps encouraging her citizen that "freedom is coming tomorrow" and that they are "waiting for Mandela"
This movie taught me alot about freedom, even though I cried alot anytime I watch this movie, I learnt some things which I will point out;
While fighting for freedom they were united. Unity made them achieved their aim.
They never allowed fear to engulf them.
They never give up on their icon and leader, Nelson Mandela.
When Nelson Mandela got out of prison, he became their first president after attaining Independence.
Martin Luther King Jr
He was a Civil Rights Activist from 1955 till he was assassinated in 1968. He led the struggle against the segregation of the Black American. His speeches gave his people courage and a defiance spirit that even after his death, his people continued the protest. Martin Luther King Jr sought for freedom and equality among the Black and White Citizens of America. He had a dream and his dream was fulfilled. People were no longer judged by the colour of their skin, his children; those that were formerly in slavery, are now able to sit together and rule the nation together.
Freedom is a fight for liberty. No happiness or joy for one who is in bondage, one who is in bondage is always in a contest, a real struggle for liberation. We hail our leaders who had fight for our freedom and equality in our Homeland.

When Old Friends Meet
About a week ago, I went for a reunion in my fomer school, myself and my other classmates were present for the program. I was excited for the fact that I would be able to see my old friends, many of us have not seen each other for the last five years while few have met recently.
We were all happy to see how much we have changed, who have grown taller and who have grown bigger, how much we have achieved and how far we have gone in life.
At first there just hugges and handshakes for some moments, many have not meet each other physically since we had departed, it's true we do chat on the social media but of course we can't hug each other or hold each other on the Facebook or Whatsapp.
I had a best friend back in those days, we were so close and did a lot of things together, there's hardly nothing we did not know about each other. In those days, we were more like twin sisters that we move together, sit together and all that. When we met last week we were so happy that we hugged each other and chatted for a long time. And when it's finally time to go back home we couldn't just leave each other to go.
What happens when old friends meet?
You recollect some of the happy moments in your life.
Yes. Even before we reached our venue, the excited in me made me remember some memories we have shared together, the little we achieved together then, the pain we shared together and all that. We talked about the beautiful moments we all have shared together, we all laughed and gisted for a long time.
We share some of our experiences.
When meeting with old friends, you have the chance of sharing the experiences you have encountered over the past years. Both pleasant and unpleasant we would share them, where we are right now, what we have been doing, what we have been encountering alone and all our struggles and success.
We talked about each other's achievement.
In the process of reuniting, they will always be a lot to talk about. We all have questions for each other, we probably have been seeing so many things about our friends online, now is right to ask those questions, talks about businesses, education, families and friends.
When old friends reunite, there is always happiness in each other's faces, we will remember many things, talk a lot that we don't even realize when the time is already fast spent.
However, we cannot say much about them again, many have changed and we are no longer together. We just have to cherish the little moment we have together, talk and wish each other a good life. We can only meet them once in a blue moon, it's not possible for many of us to continue to been close like we were back then. Though we have some cases where some still remained very close as they were before.

Fashion Designing; The Challenges so far
In my last article, I mentioned some criteria in pursuing fashion designing as a skill, how we can stand out as a skilled fashion designer. Today I will be sharing with us the challenges most fashion designers face in their learning process and their businesses. I would say it's not very easy to just learn fashion designing, but it's not impossible. Challenges are actually meant to make us strong and gain more experience.
Shortage of fund.
This is one major problem especially when it comes to making a dress. Not everyone are privileged to open a big fashion industry or shop. There are classes in almost all countries in this world including mine. Many customers will bring their fabric which needed to be sowed without making a deposit or down payment. This type of work might require some assesories or materials are needed to be bought. What happens if there is no sufficient funds for the person that wants to make the dress. Another annoying part is if you've actually find a way to get the money to buy what's needed and make the dress, and the customer is actually pleased with the dress, but such person refuses to pay on time or refuses to pay in full.
Lack of Enough Machineries.
As an upcoming fashion designer, we have a lot to put in place and that includes all necessary machines needed to make a dress. There are different machine performing different task. While I was still learning, my boss would send us else where to weave some clothes, because she does not have a weaving machine for herself. There is also a stoning machine which my boss does not have, we would always trek a long distance to another shop where we would pay and get the job done. All these machines are very expensive to get and if we don't have the type of machine that makes a particular dress then there is no possibly of getting people's patronage. I will give an example; if someone wants me to make a shirt and I don't have a machine that makes "button holes' and "finishing" then I can't make this dress, and even if I try to make it, it won't make a perfect shirt.
Unavailability of Clothing Materials
There are some materials that are difficult to find in a rural area or very scarce. To make a wedding dress for example requires a lot of different assesories to make them beautiful. What if they are not available where you are as a fashion designer?
All these points which I have stated above, comes with a lot of struggles, many are forced to travel to another place to get clothing materials that are not available or they are more cheaper elsewhere, many have handled customers rude behaviors and attitude. Many worked overnight just to get little or no gain. Learning process is even hard on its own. I remember always coming back home very late in the night and how I would always dogde overnight works in shop, I will always form one reasonable excuse because overnight works are always hectic and frustrating.
In a nutshell, these are challenges we are facing as a fashion designer. However, we didn't give up on it, many of us have overcomed these challenges, many of us her overcoming. There are always alternative in my country, there will always be a way out manage and fix ourself out.

Pursuing Fashion Designing as a Skill
Fashion Design is one of the most creative, lucrative and innovative job. As I have been a fashion designer for the past four years, I can say a lot about the challenges so far. Pursuing Fashion Designing as a skill for business has its own challenges, but it's not very difficult to become one. It takes a while to master the skill and complete the course. A lot of circumstances can quicken or shorten one's period of learning. It takes months or almost a year for many. As we all know, learning is continuous, it does not end, this applies to fashion designing also.
What are the important things to note as a fashion designer
Creativity
Creativity has to do with some ideal things that makes you unique and special. You have an ability to create things on your own. Being creative makes your product different from others. Making a clothing design with creative ideas, will make others prefer your design compared to others.
Gaining Experience
A good working experience will help you build professionalism. You can manage on your own because there is hardly no challenge you would have that you haven't experienced before. It helps to create enthusiasm for your work because you have been in it for so long. You can also create opportunities for yourself in the face of difficulties.
Gaining Trust and Proving your Worth
Building trust is a challenging process on its own. To convince a customer, especially a first timer to like your design or product is a difficult one. When it comes to trust, you have try everything possible to prove your worth to such person. I have been in this situation a lot, where they find it difficult to trust me on their fabric. Even my mum, when I just started learning, she would tell me the fabric is very expensive that I should not spoil her cloth. Nevertheless, we have to make it our responsibility to make them believe in us and our ability.
Meeting Different kinds of individuals.
In this fashion industry, I have seen a lot of people with a whole different personalities, it's sometimes annoying how most of them behave, while some are actually nice and kind. While pursuing fashion designing, you will meet a lot of people with different behaviors and attitude, everyone of them will help you. You get to see their true nature, you build connections with many, which will also provide many opportunities for you.
As a fashion designer, we have a lot to say, and to do. It's worth been a fashion designer, skills are very important, as people will always be at your service.

Fated Life (2)
As soon as Georgina fell into the river, her pursuers fled immediately, they concluded that she won't be able to survive the fall. Two days later, Georgina woke up and found herself on the hospital bed, with no recollection of what had happened to her, she was rescued by a couple who had gone to the river for fishing. All attempts to remember herself or even what has happened to her seems futile. The doctor confirmed that she was suffering from a temporary amnesia and that she would regain her memory with time.
In the next couple of days, these couple took Georgina home and treated her like their own daughter. They had their own children, a boy and a girl, but despite that, they took care of Georgina as well as their own children. Georgina felt the love of parenting for the first time, apart from her grandmother who took care of her when she was young, she never had such privilege again till now. Even though she lost her memory, she was happy with a new life she just found with a loving family.
For the next six months, Georgina's mum kept searching for her daughter's whereabout, she lost focus at work and couldn't even sleep. She felt guilty of all that she had done to her daughter. The truth is that she didn't know the worth of her daughter till she loses her. Now that she was missing, she felt a vacuum space in her life, nobody to scold, nobody to shout at her, she has always watched her from a distance then. At the other end, Georgina continues to live her life happily.
On a fateful day, Georgina's new parents decided to enroll her into a new college so she could start schooling. At the same time, Georgina's mum was present at the college. She went to the college to paste the pictures of her missing daughter. Unknowingly, she gave Georgina's dad, who was just passing by one of the flyers she was pasting.
"Rapheal"? Georgina's mum called out in shock.
"Alice"! What are you doing here?
"Georgina is missing" she replied.
"Who's Georgina" Rapheal asked.
"Our daughter" Georgina's mum replied.
"You mean, the girl in this picture?
"This is Sophie, I named her Sophie after my wife and I rescued her from drowning six months ago.
While they were still talking, Georgina and Raphael's wife, moved closer to them to know what's really happening and it turns out Georgina was Raphael's daughter, the child he had with Alice before they were separated. What a twist of fate, the kind of father Georgina couldn't have when she was young, an accident brought her to meet her real father and a good parenting whom she had been longing for all these years.

Fated Life
Georgina lived with her grandmother at the countryside. Her parents had separated since she was 3 years old and all her mother could do was to leave her with Granny, so she could face her job. She worked in a bank and she hardly have time for herself not to talk of her daughter. Georgina lived with her grandmother since then, she grew up working with her grandmother, so there's hardly anything she does not know how to do. She used to long for her mother with the hope that she will come and look after her wellbeing but she would give up after few weeks of waiting. Her mother only comes once in three months and she leaves the next day.
Georgina continued living like this till she is grown enough to go to the college, it's time for her to go to the college, her mum needs to start taking responsibilities for her wellbeing. However, she did everything herself, her mum only drop her in school, every necessary steps to be taken for her to be fully registered was taken by herself. Her mum rendered no kind of help. She was only concerned about her job. Georgina concentrated on her self since her mother has refused to help her. This continued for some time, she started living in the school's domitary. She made a lot of friends, that way she is not concerned about the only family she has in the city. She was always with her friends and they did everything together.
In her second year in the university, Georgina started living her life recklessly, she parties at night and sleep for the whole day. She had been arrested severally for drugs, and her mum would bail her out. For some time she refused to go back to school but her mum told her she is on her own and that she will stop taking responsibilities for her actions. While Georgina was pained with her mother's words, she left home with no hope of coming back. However, she had no exact destination but she kept wondering around the city. At last she was kidnapped by some unknown men, she was smuggled into the vehicle by the road side. For days, her mum thought she had finally gone back to school but she noticed her belongings are still at home the same way she brought them that night. Later, she got a call from the police that her daughter's phone was found by the roadside, that's where it dawned on her that her daughter was missing. All hopes to find her proved abortive and all her mother could do is regret. She regret every bit of her actions towards her daughter.
Meanwhile, Georgina spent a whole two days in total blackout, she is unaware of her surroundings, she does not know what's going on around her. But at last, they unfolded the cloth used to bind her eyes. She was so exhausted and could hardly cry. Who knows what her abductors really want? Later at night, she overheard her abductors speaking, they took her for someone else entirely, someone else is supposed to be there at that time she was kidnapped and now that she is of no use, they should get rid of her before she landed them into trouble.
She spent the whole night planning to escape, she needs to get out of that place. Fortunately, they decided to feed her the next morning, who knows if the food was poisoned? One of the abductors came and loosed the rope on her wrist for her to eat. As soon as she was released from the bond, she pushed the man away and took to her heels. She made her way out of the room, and continued running. She does not know where she was going but she kept in running as those guys kept running after her. Georgina was unaware of her whereabout, she didn't realise there a river ahead of her as kept running. Unfortunately, she fell inside the river as soon as she reached the end of the cliff.

Behind Every Smile
Day by day. We get to see amusing and radiant faces of people at home, at work, in school, at the park or at the market. Many at times they greets us with a charming smile on their faces. They keep this smilling face anytime they are around others. At a particular time in their lifes when they are alone, do they still maintain this smilling face, does it reflects deep inside them. A lot of people smile outside but deep down in their heart, they are going through a very tough and challenging moment. The smile is actually a disguise, there is a pain deep inside them that they have been enduring and hiding. They smile, to maintain their position among friends and colleagues, so they won't pity them or look down on them. It's such a huge pain that it's difficult to acquaint friends or family with. Many happy faces we see around are going through something worse, family problems, broken marriages, single parenthood, pressure at work, peer pressure, they are all problems many encounters in their life.
A Short Story..........
Pauline was just an ordinary girl, from an average family, the only girl in her family and the last born. Her parents did their best to train her in the right way. They made sure she had a sound education. They sent her to one of the best schools in the country. As soon as she graduated from college, she got married at a young age of 23. Her husband's father was a close friend to her dad. The couple relocated to another country after their marriage. They both had a nice job that pays them well and everything seems okay with them.
Everything turns around when Pauline discovers her husband's strange attitude, he comes home late and hardly talks to her. Things continued like that for a while till she decided to confront her husband one day. What exactly was wrong with him, and why has he refused to talk to her again. Then, her husband let the cat out of the bag. He told Pauline he does not like her at all, he only married her because his parents begged him to. They wanted to repay her family for the kindness they have shown them through the past years. How they have helped his family financially, it's all thanks to them for him to be where he is now. He told her that he won't be able to leave the house for her because it's both risky for them, they both might lose their job. What will Pauline do? She can't get a divorce, they just got married less than three months, her father did all he can to make sure she remained happy in her marriage, they cannot get a divorce, it will cause a conflict between the two families. With all these circumstances, Pauline kept thinking of what the outcome would be if she gets a divorce, will she be able to handle it. She felt pained for been deceived, who will she blame for this? What will she do now? Her workers at her work place noticed and asked her what's wrong with her but she would simply reply with a smile on her face that nothing was wrong with her.
Just like Pauline, many are going through pains similar and bigger than this. They have tried to conform with the status quo and pretend things were going very well. Of course they wish to get out of such horrible situation but they just can't due to some unfavorable circumstances. Let us make it our aim to always cheer them up. We shouldn't jugde a book by its cover. We should try and get familiar with them, to know if it really worth them smilling.
