Imagine if I just removed my tip queue maximum, and just watched noise.cash consolidate cents worth of BCH I have. Would it work?

Sure it would work, but I should imagine that the consolidation consumes mining fees. If you added the maximum to reduce fees, removing it might not make sense.

I think so. For me, the consolidation takes place about every 25 transactions. It is independent of the amount.

    Maybe it's less frequent with me because I tip a lot with the Wallet. This also consolidates the Wallet.
