You know the funny thing when someone shows you what really is happening is that your mind begins to correlate it to everything you see. Think of it this way. You just bought a card that allows you to buy something and felt you were the first one to have it. After that, someone points out that they have that same card. At first, you ignore it, but then as you use the card to buy something, you'll notice more and more people actually have the same card as you had. In the same way, those that call out Spammers may be ignored, but once people notice that their stuff is true, more people will be able to recognize spammers, creating a cascading barrier of entry which requires you to be not a spammer or else everyone else (with justification) rate-brigades you to spam. So always know which one is a spammer, and tell the site who is who.
