This man took high risks by only investing into the Japanese stock market and Turkish Lira. He has a mortgage to pay and family to feed. In his position I wouldn't put all my money into stocks. I would also invest money into a money market fund or maybe even bond funds to take some volatility out of the portfolio. I hope he learns from that and all the comments to make sure to be able to financially protect his wife and kids. Because I currently have no financial responsibilities I can take higher volatility to increase my long term returns. So I built my portfolio allocation this way. I also noticed this ~10% drop last Friday in my stocks portfolio. And I'm aware that it could drop even more. But being able to invest your money during a global recession while having just started your financial journey could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. https://youtu.be/tdL0d1NHxkY
