Mushroom: Mushrooms produce vitamin D when they are exposed to UV radiation. As per a study published in the journal Nutrients, mushrooms are the only adequate non-animal source of vitamin D. They are known to produce vitamin D2, which helps increase the blood levels of vitamin D. So, load up on wild mushrooms or mushrooms that have been treated with UV light
