Happy anniversary my love
*“I saw that you were perfect, and so I loved you. Then I saw that you were not perfect and I loved you even more.” —Angelita Lim*
It's been 3 years since I decided to enter into a serious relationship. It's been 3 years since I told myself, He is the one. Char!
I can still remember the day we met at the company we both work for. He needed an assistant in what he was doing at that time. I am just a new employee in the company, so I do not have a permanent position yet, so our line leader instructed me to help him. That was the time we talked. When he simply asked what my name was and where I lived, I didn't think that over the course of the day, our conversation would become more frequent.
Until we get to the point where he invites me to eat and hang out every rest day. (Fast forward) After 4 months, he confessed his love to me. Isn't it fast? hehe. I told him, "Are you sure?" And he answered, of course. But it took almost a month before I answered him "yes."
Our relationship has not been easy because our quarrels have become more frequent. One reason is his jealousy. We have also come to the point of breaking up, but after a day we get back together and that scene is repeated.
Until we celebrated our 1st and 2nd anniversary, and now, our 3rd anniversary. Hehe
To my man, Happy Happy Anniversary. I rarely express how thankful I am for all the things that you do for me, but today let me convey how I appreciate every little thing that you do. Thank you for being vulnerable and open to me. I know as a man, that can be very difficult to do, but it developed closeness that I value so much. Thank you for always encouraging me to do my best and for always believing in me, even when I can’t even believe in myself. Thank you for the moments you make it clear that you are proud of me, whether it’s a big grin after I’ve done something impressive or the way you present me to others like royalty, it means so much to me. Thank you for the unexpected Iloveyou texts.Thank you for letting me feel that I am the most beautiful girl especially during the times that I look haggard. Thank you for not letting me feel hungry, because you know that I will turn to a monster HAHAHA. Thank you for making me feel that you are so afraid to lose me, that feels great. Thank you for not saying a single word when I am having my litany, you just stare and smile at me 'til I stammer and laugh. Thank you for not letting me go to sleep without patching up the argument we have. Thank you for knowing when to set me straight, and for telling me when you think I’m wrong. Thank you for sticking with me even after you’ve seen how moody, messy, demanding and difficult I could get. I know that I can be a little hard to handle, but because of you, I’m embracing the gentler and kinder side of myself. Thank you for always being there for me despite of the many reasons you shouldn’t. Every day you prove to me that I made the right decision of giving you my ‘yes’. There are more that I should thank you for, but I am running out of words to say. I am sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you, emotionally, physically at financially na rin. Hehe You are the best. You’ve changed a lot; you have succeeded to make yourself better so, cheers to your forthcoming success! I’ll continue to be on your side until you achieve all the things that your heart desires. HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY love.❤️

Thank you for reading!
We'll wait for you.
I can guarantee you that there will be times in your life that will hurt your heart more than anything else. You may find that you want to go home in the middle of the day, despite the fact that you are working, just because you are on the verge of breaking down. You will discover that your cup of coffee has gotten cold beside your plate because you got lost in your thoughts. You are aware that this is your own method of temporarily evading the realities of the situation. Love songs tend to have a sour tone to them, so it's okay if you want to take a break from listening to them for a little while. It will take some time before you get back into the loop when it comes to romance, and that's okay. You will find that love movies are full of lies, and it will take some time before you can watch them again. You will come to recognize the stillness of the nights as a cue to reflect on those times, and later on, your tears will undoubtedly flow like a river, kissing your pillows as they do so, and it will shatter you all over again. You will question what went wrong and why you weren't good enough, and my darling, it will force you to pick up the pieces without anyone looking over your shoulder while you do so. You will begin to question whether or not you are truly capable of loving.
However, I can assure you that there will come a day when you will wake up to find that the aches and pains have already disappeared. There will come a beautiful afternoon when the notion of him will no longer disturb you, and everything will seem like it is supposed to be. You will wake up one night and realize that you are being too hard on yourself, and at that moment, you will make the decision to love yourself more. This night will come sooner or later. You will quickly discover that you are able to forgive those who have caused you a great deal of suffering. Your heart, which has been broken, will eventually heal completely and become even stronger than it was before. And just like you, you will become even more powerful as a result of the accumulation of all the experiences you've had and the wisdom you've gained from the past.
You are going to give in to this immediately. Perhaps you will put some distance between yourself and others and refuse to accept assistance of any kind. You are not going to say anything and are going to keep all of your sentiments to yourself instead. You may even find yourself laughing in spite of the pain. You will grin, but your eyes will have the saddest look in them. You will respond that you are fine, even when this is not the case. You are going to put on an act as though nothing is wrong. You are going to watch out for yourself. You will conceal yourself from other people.
And that is perfectly fine. Take your time. You don't need to say a word about it.
Those individuals who were there with you previously will continue to be present both now and until the day that you are able to stand up again.
We'll wait for you.
3 ways to end a toxic friendship
Friends are the best... until they're the worst, which is when things can get really problematic. Friends are the worst when they make things worse. It's possible that you're ****dealing with a toxic friendship**** if you've been feeling put down, belittled, uncomfortable, or pressured in any way.
It can be a great pain to be in a toxic friendship, and it can be difficult to figure out how to handle the situation. Check out our guide to coping with toxic friendships for some pointers if you're serious about making this relationship work. If you've made an effort but your buddy isn't willing to meet you halfway, it may be time to consider gently ending the friendship, despite the fact that it will be difficult to do so.
When you are experiencing a lot of strong feelings, it is a difficult decision to make to cut ties with a friend because they have wronged you in some way. It's possible that you and your friend will be able to sort things out once you've had some time to collect your thoughts; the decision of whether or not you want to maintain the friendship is entirely up to you. After getting through challenging times together, many people discover that their friendships may become deeper and more meaningful with only a little bit of time and perseverance invested in them.
`If you feel as though there is no escape from a poisonous friendship, the following are some options to explore for terminating the relationship.`
**Put them out of mind.**
The slow fade is only successful if both of you are working toward the same goal and are investing equal amounts of effort into maintaining your friendship. This technique avoids conflict and is frequently successful as a result.
**Try your hand at some of these things:**
Reduce the number of times that you call or message them. If you were texting three times a week, try cutting back to twice a week, and then once a week if that doesn't feel like enough.
If the fact that you are all part of the same group makes it difficult, you could find it helpful to restrict your catch-ups to topics related to the group itself, since this will make your interactions with one another less intimate.
No matter how you decide to do it, breaking off a friendship is never an easy task. Keep in mind that a healthy fade-out may only occur if both of you are moving in separate directions. If it isn't mutual, this could give your friend the impression that you are ignoring them or that you are passing judgment on them. For instance, if they ask you why you're not hanging out with them, this indicates that the fade-out isn't mutual. Another indicator is if you continue to talk to them.
If this is the case, or if you simply want to be forthright about terminating the friendship, having a straightforward conversation to clear the air may be the most effective course of action for you to take.
**Put an end to the friendship in a formal way.**
This approach entails having a conversation with the individual in question, during which you break the news to them that your friendship is finished. This is a fairly challenging choice that demands a lot of bravery on your behalf, much like ending a relationship with a partner would require a lot of fortitude. The best part is that it provides you and the other person with the chance to bring everything into the open and find resolution.
By reading this, you will find out how to carry on a conversation with your friend.
**Get rid of them completely.**
This is not acceptable behavior on the part of your friend if they behave abusively against you in any way, be it physically, emotionally, or psychologically; for example, if they put you down by calling you names, physically hurt you, threaten you, or manipulate you. You are under no obligation to them, and you have every right to remove yourself from the predicament if you so choose.
Delete or block someone on social media or anywhere else that they might be able to contact you in order to terminate your friendship with them. If you attend the same high school or university as they do, do what you can to avoid being enrolled in any classes at the same time.
But keep in mind that severing ties with a buddy might have significant repercussions. Your friend could start acting hostile or cruel toward you, and as a result, you might lose some of the pals you share in common. Raising awareness among your friends about what's going on and asking them to be there for you as support It is in your best interest to let them know that you do not expect them to take a side in the conflict.
You owe it to yourself to end a poisonous friendship in order to improve your own mental health. If you cut ties with a buddy who is harmful to your mental health, you will relieve yourself of a great deal of negativity and be able to focus on being true to who you are.
