How to Avoid Online Scams in Nigeria (From Someone Who’s Been Burnt) Hello, Read.cash family 👋 Today, I want to talk about something very real and painful online scams in Nigeria. I’ve seen too many friends (and even myself at one point) fall for fake platforms that promised easy money. So here are 5 quick tips I’ve learned the hard way maybe it’ll help someone out there: ❌ 1. Don’t Pay to Work a platform says you must “activate” with ₦2,000–₦10,000 before you can start earning 90% of the time, it’s a scam. Real platforms like Read.cash, SproutGigs, and Fiverr let you start free. ❌ 2. Avoid WhatsApp “Cash Out” Groups You’ve probably seen them: “₦1,000 turns to ₦10,000 in 30 mins 💰🔥” It’s always too good to be true. These are usually fake “flipping” or “doubling” scams. ✅ 3. Check for Real Reviews Before joining any online platform, search on YouTube or Google: “Is [platform name] legit?” If nobody’s talking about it or reviews are all bad — run. ✅ 4. Choose Platforms That Pay in Crypto or Bank Stick to platforms like: Read.cash – pays in BCH SproutGigs – small tasks, pays in USD Binance P2P – for converting to NGN safely ✅ 5. Trust Your Instinct If something feels off it probably is. If someone is pressuring you to join quickly, it’s often a trap. 'Im not an expert, just sharing my lessons as I go. If this helped you, please like or drop a comment. And if you know other legit platforms, share them below! 3 Reasons Nigerians Should Explore Read.cash and Web3 Opportunities Hey again, Read.cash family 👋 This is my second post, and today I want to talk directly to my fellow Nigerians 🇳🇬 — because I believe platforms like Read.cash can make a real difference in our lives if we use them well. Here are 3 reasons I think more Nigerians should join Read.cash and embrace Web3: ✅ 1. No Upfront Investment Needed Let’s be real: most “make money online” platforms here ask you to pay before you earn. That’s not sustainable for many people. But with Read.cash, you can start writing, commenting, and earning immediately in Bitcoin Cash (BCH) without paying anyone anything. That’s real freedom. ✅ 2. Dollar-Linked Crypto Earnings BCH is a global currency. What you earn here isn’t tied to the Naira, which keeps losing value. Even small tips in BCH can add up fast, especially if you’re consistent. It’s a smart way to beat inflation and stack up some crypto savings. ✅ 3. Skill + Consistency = Income Read.cash rewards effort and good communication. If you’re good at storytelling, tech, crypto, or even motivational posts you have a chance here. Just be real, don’t spam, and show up consistently. I’ll be sharing tips from my own journey here, and I hope this post inspires one or two people to take a step. If you’re new like me, drop a comment let’s grow together! Thanks for reading 🙏 @ROQGUY

Why I join Read.cash/my first step into web3 earning Hello everyone 👋, I’m excited to make my first post here on Read.cash! I recently discovered this platform and I must say it feels refreshing to see a space where your thoughts, stories, and engagement are truly valued. I'm based in Nigeria, and like many others, I’ve been searching for legit online platforms that actually reward effort without needing upfront investment. Most of what I found were scams or required huge fees to even get started until I found Read.cash. What caught my attention here is that: You can earn Bitcoin Cash (BCH) just by writing and commenting 🧠 No one is forcing you to “upgrade” to get paid 🙌 The community seems active and friendly 👥 I’ll be sharing posts on: Crypto and Web3 adoption in Africa Personal tips on making money online without getting scammed And sometimes just random thoughts on life and tech 🚀 Feel free to say hi in the comments 👇 I’d love to connect with other newbies and OGs here! Let’s see where this journey takes us. Thanks for reading, @ROQGUY
