Living in Denial...? Tell it to yourself, even if you can't tell them. I mean... The truth 🙂. Always remind yourself of it, it'll help you retract /retrace. Frankly, it is never going to be easy... To let go, to start all over, to renew, to repose, to refute... Ugh Sometimes we cannot even decide though... Life just comes at you &... I just wonder why but always remind yourself of who you are & what you want, you're stronggg! Don't live in denial, this is like a recipe to a disastrous life. The ability to tell yourself & always remind you of the truth shows how much strength you possess, you may not know but it is what it is. You may have been doing it wrongly though, but it is only a matter of time before a stammerer calls his father's name, as long as you keep reminding yourself of the situation.

The Barracks girl story; we ain't ready... Recently, I got a disc jockey mix of selected late south African reggae superstar's songs... In the person of Lucky Dube, who died painfully in the year 2007, on the 18th of October. Dube was killed by armed robbers in Rosettenville, a suburb area of Johannesburg, shortly after dropping two of his seven children off at their uncle's house. He was driving his Chrysler 300c, which the assailants were after. Police reports suggest he was shot dead by carjackers and that they supposed him to be a Nigerian. The very interest of this piece is in his 2001 "Romeo" in the Soul taker's album. This particular song is a love stuck track, it communicates his romantic interest in a lady. However, In these great and compelling lyrics, is a line that has got me thinking vigorously, it says that..."You don't have to believe in everything I say right now, cause to you, I'm just another man until I prove myself to be worthy of your love". This line enthrals me, hence, the birth of this piece. Dube glaringly makes it known that sometimes, you need to show a person you're worth before they can take you seriously. Why is this? In today's world, genuine affection is practically unwilling to come by. People no longer see the need to be true to others, people love based on merits. We do not have to be lethargic to work things genuinely with people. If it means substantiating your worth to a person before they can accept you, why not take some time out to do that. We are all just ordinary people until we place value on ourselves & make it known, and that beyond materialistic values, we are embodied with intangible societal assets. Talk about love, talk about trust... Relationships cannot prevail if we tie value to tangibles alone. I have been in this, long enough, to realize that the basis of the too many splits in various romantic unions is the ineptness to invariably prove ourselves daily, with efforts. What is worth doing, is worth doing well, in shut, whatever is worth doing at all, is worth overdoing. You either do or do not. Until we can discern the full intent of our plans towards the emotions of others, and constantly refine ourselves, to validate ourselves, WE AIN'T READY. Verisimilitude will not thrive & unions will continue to fall out.

For Q.dot nation... 9ja!!! Q.DOT : Of enthralling Rhythm, Humour, Fact, cultural values, Didacticism, and Appraisal. What ever you do repeatedly, without stress, should not be given a different title other than TALENT . Little wonder did the book of Proverbs insinuates that " the gift of a man will place him before kings and noble men. Clearly , it is visible to the blind, and audible to the deaf, that Fakoya Qudus Oluwadamilare, who goes by the stage name Q. DOT is by far the number one contemporary hip hop artiste promoting the Yoruba cultural value through his music. Looking through his music style, one would simply agree it is filled with suiting rhythm, laughter, Fact, exuding undiluted cultural values, morals, eulogy and panegyrism . This features has not only made him stand out amongst his contemporaries, it has created a brand that one could hardly find anywhere in Nigeria and the whole of Africa. In short, his music style is a trailblazer. Believe me, a lover of good music would barely pass by a speaker blaring Q.dot without shaking your head. His rhythm will melt you! Well, I wont tell if the fellow is gruesome loss. Also in his most recent track, titled #Gbemidebe, fighting other trends on the social media , the maestro like he does in several of his music, made a classical allusion to Olamide, the popular "Baddo" and a close relatiin DJ Ẹnimoney, analogically describes that no matter how close people are, one should not trust anyone. This obviously is a strict moral caution that we should always register in our mind. As human can be inhumane at anything. Lastly, one of the several good ways in making people love you is to sing their appraisal, especially Yorubas, which is so common to Q.dot style of music. You will find this at the tale end of every track. Thess and many more makes Q. Dot phenomenal. I pray that God continue to strengthen him to do what he knows how to do best. I LOVE YOU. #Gbemidebe, Q. DOT. #ADREMZ.

Loyalty is not all & sometimes, not even enough. No man is an island of knowledge so says an adage & this is the reason I have thought to share a little from my experience in order to create awareness of how we can react in some situations when there is need for it. This lady dated this man for practically 6 years but at the end of the day, they parted ways. Not because there was no love, the love was there but their relationship started when the girl was about 17 or thereabout in her first year in the university . Apparently, she was not mature enough for a relationship that could be leading to marriage or even intended for marriage. The relationship spanned through her university days but after youth service came about, the little distance that sets births several issues that the girl's naivety had been holding up. Her age, level of maturity made her unaware of some things the man does that should not be left unspoken about. She was not aware that some actions require certain reactions in order for it not to occur again because it could ruin a good thing. Now, as she has gone outside the school, she began to see that things are not done in the manner she has been seeing it by the man. She met people who made her realize through their actions that this is one should be treated. These things propelled her to speak up, to speak against some of the man's actions towards her. As the man realized that she is awakened, he claims the love for him does not exist anymore. Guys!!! This was a relationship that never recorded any sign of cheating. This man is not a drunkard neither does he smoke. Please tell me people, what are the possible reasons a relationship of practically 6 years that has never recorded a case of cheating end on the basis of several fights? What could be the reasons for the several fights?
