The horrible end of stinginess and hypocrisy; GOD does not love those who are niggardly, and He guides others to niggardliness, and conceals what GOD has given them out of His bounty. And those who spend their wealth only to be seen by the people and do not believe in Allah and the Last Day are disliked by Allah. The truth is that the devil who has a companion has a very bad friendship. What calamity would have befallen them if they had believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent out of what Allah has given them. If they had done so, their good deeds would not have been hidden from Allah. 37-39. May Allah protect us all from miserliness and hypocrisy. Amen
