Few nights ago, even the new years celebration was over, there are still people who can afford to lit expensive fireworks just for a few minutes of joy. We learned that those fireworks came from the house of influential person here in our place- none other than the mayor itself. It was his birthday that night, I overheard from some passersby. I just hope that the mayor do some humanitarian act for many on his constituents in his birthday instead of spending so much money on expensive fireworks. Only those who are near to the mayor, can benefits from what the mayor could offer. Since before New Year, there are high rates of flu/cold cases here and we haven't heard anything about the plans from our leaders. Only an announcement that we would be on Alert #3 again in dealing the pandemic. In times of this, we can only rely on ourselves for survival, how I wish every constituents enjoy the same benefits of having a good leadership. Wish everyone a life full of abundance, just like those politicians. Happy Monday everyone!

Hayyyy, sad reality. Well, atleast he gave all the people a few moments of joy by looking at the fireworks.
Wow, to have a birthday on New Year Day is like the whole world celebrates for you. The mayor must have lots guests then.
May they find ways to reach out to their kababayans even while celebrating. Joyful serving.

Im just thankful that even though my parents is not a voters of our incumbent mayor but still they were always include in every help that the mayor had given. They werent left out. hoping that your mayor would look more on his/her constituent than her/his own self. He/she run as a mayor so that he/she could help them, but sadly its the reality that some officials neglect their duty once they were in office already.
