Teach the little child with your example. The father of my little friend who calls me Uncle Ice Cream invited me for lunch today. I knew it was the usual Sunday rich people's set up, so I decided to eat very well at home before leaving. I brought out my orgasmic egusi soup from the freezer and made semo. After turning the semo, I brought down the pot of semo and plate of egusi to the floor. I balanced well on the floor; removed my singlet, removed my short and having positioned myself in my boxer, I devoured this delicacy for 30 minutes. The sweat was excessive but the feeling was beyond this world. I washed the dishes, took my bath and relaxed small under the AC before leaving the house. When I arrived their house at Ikeja GRA, their gateman with his shinny brown teeth asked what I brought for him. Luckily, the tricycle who dropped me gave me ₦100 change in 5 ₦20 Naira notes. I handed them over to him. "Uncle ice creammmmmmmmm...hawayu? I have found a female friend for you. Come and see her." Climbing on my back, he pointed towards his elder sister's room and I laughed real hard. Did I tell you his elder sister is just 4 years old? I fell on the sofa and told him I wanted to rest. He went and brought out his assignment book. "Uncle Ice cream, see the Christmas assignment I was given. Help me." Just when I was about to disgrace myself, God of the eleventh hour showed up in the form of his father and he left me alone. "Preacherman, good afternoon. How are you doing?" "Good afternoon Sir. I'm very well Sir." I shook his hand firmly and we sat down to a brief discussion on the new method of digital advertising idea I wanted to share with him. His wife took my friend to the dinning to eat. After a while, she started complaining. "Eat with your fork and knife or you won't eat this ice cream uncle preacher bought for you. Oya." It seemed she was having a running battle with my little friend on using his cuttlery. When we finished our discussion, we went over to the dinning to have lunch. His wife was almost done eating and we noticed she ate with only spoon. My little friend was still struggling to finish his food when we (His father and I) joined him. His father whispered to me to use my fork and knife. He held up his own and started to use same. When the little boy saw us eating and smiling at him, he dropped his spoon and picked up his own fork and knife. It was a running battle for him but he tried so hard to use it. And while we continued to use ours, he never dropped his own. Noticing his challenge, his father dropped his own and returned to just using spoon. I did same. And funny enough, my little friend picked up his own spoon too. In all of these, his father never said a word to him or shouted at him like his mother did. Clearly, he followed his father's example as much as he followed his mother's own. A great lesson. When I was about to leave, his father told me the idea I had for a new media and digital adverts was creatively ingenious. But I don't have to wait any longer. "Preacherman, start with what you have and do what you can at the moment. When you begin to pull traction, more doors will open." I nodded. I believed him. For in doing, we become better.

Despite the hurtful words, I still loved her. Some years ago on a rainy Friday evening, I was too shy to kiss her even when she asked for it, so I ended up hugging her and running home to avoid the rain. She later called me and said I was not man enough and lacked the requisite excitement she wanted for her life. “Preacher, you’re just boring, a waste of time and truly, I don’t see myself going anywhere with you.” One thing about harsh words is that the person who says them may forget and move on with life, but the person who is told rarely forgets. In this case, I never forgot those words and they kept hurting me so bad. In fact they made me stick with her more as I tried to prove I wasn’t those things. A very pathetic situation I found myself in. I kept in touch over the phone and sometimes through lunch but she kept her distance. One night, I called her and after speaking for some minutes, she handed the phone to a guy who introduced himself as her boyfriend. I was calm and hailed him. “I heard you are the one who has been in my babe’s life since, so tell me, have you ever touched or kissed her before because I think I am having the time of my life now”; he said to me. Those words even cut deeper and I knew I had to take a stand at this point because it became clear to me I was being ridiculed and insulted. I ended the call and from that day, I kept my distance from her both in the real world and on social media. I got involved with life and forgot about her entirely. When she got married and gave birth to her first child, I found out years later. I decided to take that time to build myself. Between then and now is 10 years and hell yes, my life has gotten a lot better than I ever imagined. But the story didn’t end there. Because most nights, I still remember those hurtful words she said to me. Sometime at the start of the pandemic, I received a call from her and I was surprised I still had her number on my phone because we have not spoken in a very long time; years! My contacts automatically backup to my cloud so I figured that’s why it was still there. We exchanged pleasantries and she wasted no time in telling me she was in trouble. “Preacher, I need your help please. You’re the only one who came to my mind and if I had another option, definitely I won’t have called you.” I was surprised in all these years; I was the one she reached out to. Well, she gave birth and her husband’s finances have plummeted for several reasons and she was almost exhausted. She needs some money to clear her hospital bill as she just gave birth and is being held in the hospital. I asked the amount and told her to text her account details. I sent her double the amount she asked for so she can take care of other needs. Before we ended the call, I asked her if she remembered those hurtful words she said to me 10 years ago and she had no memory of it. She couldn’t recall ever saying those things to me and even went on to say if she had the chance to be younger again and pick a partner, she would happily pick me over and over again. I know she was saying the truth, because sometimes people forget how much they hurt others with their words because they feel it is not a big deal. They were just catching a cruise and didn’t care about the other person. I have seen countless instances of this online and in the real world. About 30 minutes later, she sent me a picture of her new born baby lying on her bosom. “My husband will give him a native name while I will give him a first name. I will name him Preacherman.” I looked at that picture and all the anger I have built up in my heart for her over these years just melted away. Somewhere in my heart, I still loved her. And maybe that may never change regardless of where she is or who she is with. The intimacy part is what will never be.

More than money This morning around 6:00am, I was at Murtala Muhammad International Airport to see off a relative and handover stuff he would deliver to my siblings in the US. While offloading the bags, a man came to assist and I generously accepted. When we pushed the bags to the particular entrance gate, I thanked him and offered him a tip as a show of gratitude. Well, not actually gratitude. I knew why he helped me was because he was expecting something monetary in return and although I was under no obligation to give, I felt it was the right thing. But the man pushed back the Naira note to me and told me his name. I didn't understand what was going on so I asked why he was telling me his name since I never really cared to know. He told me why. "People just see me hustling here and they feel it's just the money. No be the entire truth shaa. I dey hope to find favour here some day. So more than money, I need you to know my name or mark my face in case when next you come to the airport." After he said this, it just seemed like a force came over me and I paid more attention to his face. I smiled and told him that was a powerful short sentence he made. I was thrilled. I fist bumped him and was about walking out when he called me back and requested for the money I gave him earlier. "Bros abeg, it's not like I don't want the money ooo, please give it to me, at least let me see something to buy onions and tomatoes for my family this weekend." I handed the tip back to him and left. On my way home, I kept thinking about his words. In truth, I didn't think of him beyond the money he would've gotten from helping me. I saw him as someone pestering people there just to get money from them. But his words changed my thought in a split second. I now saw a human being like me, just doing the best he can to make a living for himself and provide for his family. So here's a lesson worth sharing with your friends from Preacherman to you; let us take pride and honour in doing good and honest work. Because in genuine and honest labour, there is dignity. If you're getting the job done, they should know you're the one doing it. They should know your name because it is your name that climbs the ladder even in your absence. Daniel(that's his name) made me think about something today and I'm sharing with you, so you can think about it too and if it's worth it, you can share with your friends. Have a splendid week ahead!

Importance of Trust in copywriting Today, I want to tell you why I debated for almost 3 weeks before hiring one coach for $10,000… but didn’t hesitate 10 minutes to hire another coach for $60,000.  It is an important lesson to consider, because as a copywriter marketer, your primary job is to persuade people.  And usually, you’re persuading them to give you, or your client, money, right?  I think we can agree that you’d like to inspire them to pay you $60,000 instead of $10,000, yes?  Ok… here’s what happened…  On my lunch break, I stepped into the hall of the convention center. “Ok, go ahead. We are on break. I’ve got about 100 people in there who need me to get back to them in about 30 min. But this is important. Tell me what you got.”  I listened carefully as Ned (not his real name…) walked me through his coaching program.  Hiring a coach has always been part of my success formula.  The problem is, not all coaches are created equal.  I’d joined masterminds, hired coaches, had mentors, etc…  And while I believe that I am the magic in my life, the right mentor/coach can really make a huge difference.  And for the past 5 years, I’d spent tens of thousands on coaches that were just, well, OK… some flat out duds!  I knew the right coach was out there for me.  I just couldn’t seem to find him or her.  “So, that’s the program,” Ned said as he wrapped up, “I’m ready to get started when you are.”  “What is my investment? You didn’t mention that.”  “The program for 6 months is $10,000 and you can make payments if you need to.”  Something inside me just didn’t feel settled.  I had talked to another coach earlier in the week and wasn’t sure about that one either.  Truthfully, I was uncertain about both of them, but really wanted some guidance. I was in the middle of some major decisions and needed the help.  “Ok, Ned. I really need to get back in there with my attendees. I’ll get back to you in the next day or two.”  I spent the next week going back and forth… then I dragged it into two weeks… then three.  I eventually chose to work with Ned and sent him the $10,000.  3 months later I was frustrated and disappointed. I knew the money was non-refundable, so I made the best of it and carried on.  A few years later, I got an email from Brendon Burchard’s office.  “Joshua, Brendon would like to invite you to be part of his Private Client Group. There will be 7 of you in the group. The fee is $60,000.”  I immediately replied back.  “I’m all in.”  Just like that. No hesitation. No wondering. No fussing.  I was all in.  Now, what made the difference in these two situations?  It is the same magic element in all major decisions you… and every other human on the planet… has ever made.  Once you know how to activate this key ingredient, it becomes soooo much easier to land great clients and soooo much easier to create really persuasive copy and campaigns for them.  **The magic ingredient is: TRUST.**  How do you build trust?  And how can you create instant trust… especially online, where there’s lots of competition?  Here are the 3 secrets to creating instant trust…  **First - All Initial Trust Is Based on Similarities** I won’t get into the deep psychology here, but just think about anyone you trust.  It is almost always based on similarities.  When you meet someone for the first time, what kinds of questions do you ask?  “Where are you from?”  “What kind of work do you do?”  “Do you have a children?”  (Well, that’s one I always ask… hahaha)  Etc…  And why do we ask those kinds of questions?  Because we are sorting for similarities. We want to make a connection.  So, demonstrate that you are similar to someone and they will instantly feel like they can trust you a little more.  **Second - Deep Trust Is Based On Desired Outcomes** Here’s what I mean…  In high school, I was on the swim team and then on a local community swim club.  I loved the water.  I really loved the feeling of going fast in the water. I still do!  Now, suppose that Michael Phelps, the world’s fastest swimmer in the history of anything, showed up on my door one day and said, “Joshua, I want to teach you how to swim really fast.”  What would I do?  I would say, “Yes!”  Why?  Because Michael has something I want… and a proven track record to deliver on it… so I’m going to trust him with my swimming stroke.  Notice that it was based on a desired outcome I had AND his ability to help me get that.  **Third - Lifetime Trust is Based on Love** I’m not talking only about romantic love.  I’m talking about love as an action verb.  A great marriage… and great relationships… are all based on the fact that you’ve found someone who is willing to put you, your needs, your dreams above theirs.  They know you - flaws and all - and still want to be with you, serve you, lift you up, cry with you in hard times, and all those kinds of things.  ***Love is selfless.***  It overwhelms and warms us when we find people that are happy to give to us and serve us unconditionally.  And, nothing else creates more trust than this.  Now, consider how you can one or all of these three keys to building trust. You can do this in your copy, on your website, in 1-1 interactions… anywhere you are dealing with and persuading others.

Avoid hatred TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 19:11-21. 🔑KEY VERSE* *"But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die" (DEUTERONOMY 19:11, 12).* The twin sins of hatred and dishonesty constitute high percentage of evil befalling the world today. While hatred is responsible for huge death records, dishonesty accounts for collateral damage to individuals, organisations and states. Considering the destruction of lives and properties that hatred has caused in one of the countries in Africa, the parliament of that country, in 2018, proposed a hate speech bill with death penalty for its offenders. This was done to reduce the menace of hatred in that country. Hatred is dangerous! In our text, God reveals murder as a product of hatred and prescribes death as penalty. Although God instructed Israel to separate some cities for refuge into which slayers were permitted to flee, willful murderers were precluded from that privilege. Also, removal of another person's landmark in order to make fraudulent gain was forbidden. Such an act was a product of dishonesty. Bearing false witness was also forbidden. To this extent, God required that every accusation be thoroughly investigated before an accused person could be condemned. Where an accusation was found to be baseless and malicious, however, God demanded that the false accuser be punished. In fact, He demanded that the punishment that should have been meted to the accused would be passed on to the false witness. Murder, from God's perspective, is not restricted to physical killings: "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him" (1 John 3:15). We should endeavour to have genuine love for others. We must not allow the pains of offence to drag on in us as that will lead to hatred. We are instructed to love our enemies, bless those that curse us and pray for them that despitefully use and persecute us (Matthew 5:44). *MEDITATION* *MURDER-HATRED AND ITS IMPLICATIONS* *1. Murder in the Old Testament - Judicial perspective* a. Premeditated murder, including abortion, deserves a capital punishment, vv11,12. b. Intentional but not premeditated murder. This is also a murder that attracts capital punishment, Exodus 20:13. d. Accidental murders need not attract capital punishment if the murderer can run to the city of refuge, vv4,5. e. Murders that are not motivated by hatred may not attract capital punishment, v11. An example is when that is the only way to save the life of another person like the pregnant mother. f. Concealing helpful information or having a nonchalant attitude towards prosecuting a murder suspect is sin, vv12,13. g. There must be convincing evidence before any is convicted, v15. *2. Murder in the New Testament - spiritual perspective* a. Hatred and unimplemented evil intentions against a neighbour, I John 3:15. b. Hate speech, inciting messages at rallies, calling out for mob actions and Character assassination, Psalm 15:3. c. "Snuffing out" the spiritual life of someone through false teachings and prophecies, evil counsellings, temptations or casting a stumbling block before a saint, Matthew 18:6, 5:32. It is tantamount to taking "the righteousness of the righteous from him" through deceit, subtility, force etc. Isaiah 5:23. d. Observe that all those guilty of spiritual murder cannot enter heaven without repentance, restitution and forgiveness. *PRAYER POINTS* 1. *Lord,* search me out and purge me of all hatred and evil intentions in the heart🙏 2. *Lord,* give me grace to practice practical Christianity that is characterized by love and forgiveness to all🙏 3. *Ask* that the grace of God that cancels hatred and unforgiveness be multiplied in the life of all members in the Church🙏 4. *Pray* out your desires for the Sunday service🙏

He rejected me because I didn't have a functioning website Today, I want to talk about 7 Things You Must Have on Your Website… but only if you want clients… In 2003 we lived in Warri. I had a fundraising business that was - at the moment - doing pretty good.  We lived in a 1500 sq/ft home, had 5 children, and with one on the way. Things were getting a little cramped.  So, I decided to find a new place for us to live.  Warri, was once a gold mining town. Huge veins of gold were discovered in the “Last Chance Gulch”. It brought in over $19 million in 1864 dollars… or about $277,476,558.17 in today’s dollars.  The town exploded and a beautiful mansion district grew up on the side of the hill. Most of the mansions were over $10,000 sq/ft and filled with ornate wood, marble and brass.  As fate had it, one of these mansions was up for rent when I went looking for a new place to live. It was only $2,000 a month for the rent and more than spacious enough for our family.  I applied with the rental management company and was initially told that everything looked great. They even gave us a tentative move-in date.  Then… I heard nothing.  One week… then another… then another. Nothing.  Finally, I called the management company to get an update.  “Oh, yes, Mr. Preacherman we declined your application.”    “What? Why? We already started boxing things up. You said it all looked good.”    “We did a final check of your application. When we went to your company website, there was nothing there. It was under construction. Yet you claim to be making $9,000 a month from this business. Frankly, that is pretty hard to believe considering you don’t even have a functioning website.”  I tried to explain that my business didn’t really come from my website.  But they didn’t care.  ***No cool website… no cool business… no preacherman's living in a cool mansion.***  I was really frustrated, but there was nothing I could do about it.  I have thought a great deal about that situation over the years. It underscores how vital a good website is in our world today.  **Professionals have websites.** And those websites look good and function well.  Whether we like it or not, our “book” is judged by its “cover”… ie website.  Can you see the clear implications in your writing business?  Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of writers. Almost without exception, the thing they want to know is,  “How to find and keep great paying clients?”  In reality, there are only five key elements you need to have in place to get and keep great clients. One of the most important elements is your website.  The question is, what should go on your website?  How do you turn a few words and pictures and buttons and links and menu items into a super-charged, client attraction engine that helps you land great clients day and night?  The answer to this lies in understanding what great clients look for in a writer.  I have found that just about every person that hires writers looks for a pretty specific core set of skills and attributes.  Think of it like a checklist inside their heads. If all the boxes are checked, they’re likely to give you a shot… if most of the boxes are left unchecked then you can expect the ol’ cold shoulder and sad bank account.  An effective website is one of the best ways to check all the boxes and inspire great clients to hire you.  To do that, you need seven major elements on your site. Here they are:  **One: Targeted Home Page** Everyone needs a homepage… that’s a no brainer.  But, you need a targeted home page. That’s a wee bit different.  A targeted home page instantly tells your reader:  What industry/niche you write for What kind of writing you provide Who you are Within 30 seconds of going to your homepage they should be able to tell those things.  The simpler, the clearer, the more direct it is, the better.  Confusion breeds inactivity because it makes people stop and think.  Great clients are busy. They don’t have time to try to decipher cryptic, jumbled, vague language. They want to know if you are a good fit and can meet their writing needs.  You can communicate this in a simple sentence like,  “I’m Mr preacherman and I specialize in writing direct response sales letters for the alternative health market.”  You can also do it with images, buttons, and video. However you do it, make it clear and direct.  **Two: A Signature Story** Most people have an “About Me” page… and so should you. But, please, please, please don’t give a few humdrum facts about yourself like you’re applying for a Dilbert job in corporate America.  Tell your story!  I call these “Signature Stories” A great signature story connects you with people, allows you to be vulnerable and real, and demonstrates that you have the skills and characteristics they are looking for.  For example, I love telling my story of being $200,000 in debt and writing my way to financial freedom. And people love reading about it.  **Three: Introduction Letter** If your website is just a broken up sales letter, your home page is the headline.  The lead is your introduction letter.  This is also the first major writing sample that they are likely to read. Inside of the Intro Letter you give them:  More details on the services you provide Answers to their questions Proof that you can deliver the goods A call to action so they know how to work with you Testimonials of others you’ve worked with (if you have that).  **Four: Testimonials and Experience** What do you do if you’re a new writer and don’t have testimonials and past writing experience?  Yes, great clients want to know what others think about you and you’re writing.  But, the cool part is that great clients don’t just hire seasoned writers. They are always looking for new talent and fresh perspectives.  Plus, they aren’t just hiring words on a page. They’re hiring a person. They want to know as much about you as possible.  When I first started, I put down all the past experiences I had ever had, including things like being a lifeguard in high school and donating blood for the Red Cross.  I also went to everyone I knew that did not have my last name and asked them write me a letter of recommendation.  I used these things to get started and so can you.  **Five: My System and Contact Info** Professionals have a system for running their businesses.  Can you imagine a lawyer publishing his personal email, home address and cell number with a note, “Just give me a call or stop by my house anytime!”  It doesn’t work that way.  You have to call and set an appointment. They have office hours. There is a protocol for working with them. You should have the same thing. Clients should know what it is like to work with you. You need to set a protocol and ground rules and expectations… just like every other professional does.  **Six: Lead Magnet** A lead magnet is a bit of information that gives clients great value. It allows them a safe way to experience your work and expertise without having to pay you.  Kinda like a test drive.  When I was focused on the nonprofit niche, I created a small booklet called, “12 Ways to Increase Your Net Donations”. People could go to my website, enter their name and email address and request it.  I had a lot of people ask me for that booklet and converted a good number of them into clients.  You can do the same.  Think of something useful, unique and valuable that you can give your industry. Write it up and let people download it from your site.  **Seven: Samples**  Finally, you need to have samples of your work on your website. Again, you might ask, “But what if I’m a brand new writer and don’t have samples?!”  My answer is very simple and blunt…  **“YOU ARE A WRITER… GO WRITE SOME SAMPLES!!!”**   No one has to give you permission to write samples.   Pick a favorite product or service in your niche and write some emails, headlines, leads, website content, social media, white papers, or whatever is typically used in your industry.   If you want to have 100% transparency, put a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that says,   *“I was not hired by [name of company] to write this. But it does give you an example of the great work I can do for you when we work together.”*   You should have 3-5 nice samples to begin. Every writer I know can do this in under a month. Just sit down and write!

Dendable Companion DEPENDABLE COMPANION TEXT: PSALMS 119:89-96. _🔑KEY VERSE "Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction" (PSALMS 119:92). Priscilla J. Owens, a renowned hymn writer, taught in a public school for 49 years. As a member of the Union Square Methodist Church in Baltimore, she composed at least 253 hymns with focus on the power of God's word. Of note is "Give Me the Bible," a hymn she composed in 1883. At large, the hymn shows the Holy Scripture is dependable and powerful. It is what every believer needs at this trying time when it is becoming difficult worldwide to have a dependable companion. We have cases of people tricking their friends to be kidnapped for ransom. Some gave up their blood relations for money. Security has broken down in many countries, particularly in developing nations, so much that life is almost meaningless, while justice is a mirage. Our text acknowledges the efficacy of God's words. Also, it acknowledges the immutability of the Almighty in whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning. God's faithfulness from generation to generation lends more credence to the durability and reliability of His word. Malachi 3:6 further confirms the dependability of God's word: "I am the LORD, I change not." Scriptural proofs suggest that the eternal quality is not subject in any way to the elements of nature. That explains why the psalmist always found solace in the powerful influence of the Word in his affliction. The word of the Lord is a pleasant companion at all times. The best evidence of our love for the word of God is to read and live by it daily. The more of His word you have in you, the more His abiding presence is assured. Like the psalmist, all believers need to consciously read and meditate on God's words daily; honour and keep all His commandments. ✍THOUGHT FOR THE DAY A man is vulnerable when he forsakes God's words. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR JEREMIAH 22-24. MEDITATION The Unchanging Word of God 1. The word of God is of heavenly origin though written by man, v89. No other book fits into that. 2. The Triune God has fully ratified and testified to the Bible as His word. Calling it the word of God is not just supposition, imposition or information, it is divine mandate, v89. 3. It does not contain any error for God to disown it as His word. He is well pleased with it in this present form just as He is pleased with His Son, v89, Matthew 3:17. 4. It is not subject to revision, modification, addition or substraction or else it ceases to be the word of God, v89, Revelation 22:18,19. 5. Even though the world, knowledge, culture and ages are changing, yet the word of God is still the same for all generations and in all situations. Its verdicts are true and final in all cases, vv89,90. 6. All the creations of God, including the earth and the galaxies, are all subject to the word of God. Speak the word of God and they must all obey the word, vv90,91.✅ 7. The Bible will outlive the heavens and the earth, v89, Matthew 24:35. 8. The word of God is imperishable and whosoever keeps and abide in the word of God will never perish, v92.👌 9. The word of God is the breath of God in written form just as water can be converted to other forms. As the breath of God has life giving power, so is the word of God, v93. 10. All human perfections are relative, but the word of God is absolutely perfect, v96. PRAYER POINTS 1. Praise God for the gift of the word of God🙏 2. Promise God, that you will study and keep His word at all times🙏 3. Ask God for the life giving power of the word to be working effectually in your life🙏 Pray that the word that comes from the pulpit will always be filled with life giving power and fire🙏 HYMN THE BIBLE STANDS 1. The Bible stands like a rock undaunted 'Mid the raging storms of time; Its pages burn with the truth eternal,  And they glow with a light sublime. Chorus: The Bible stands tho' the hills may tumble, It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble; I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,  For the Bible stands,  2. The Bible stands like a mountain tow'ring  Far above the works of man; Its truth by none ever was refuted,  And destroy it they never can. *Chorus* 3. The Bible stands and it will forever,  When the world has passed away; By inspiration it has been given, All its precepts I will obey. *Chorus* 4. The Bible stands every test we give it, For its Author is divine; By grace alone I will expect to live it, And to prove it and make it mine.

Bitcoin hits highs not seen since January 2018 👀 Bitcoin’s impressive run continued this week, with the market leader hitting several new yearly highs over the past few days. The push above $13,350 on Sunday marked the highest price seen since the top last summer, while yesterday’s (27 October) close of $13,654.22 was the highest since 15 January 2018. **Percentage Change in Price Over the Last Week** Bitcoin has seen a strong 2020 so far, recovering quickly after crashing in March. It has heavily outperformed both gold and the S&P 500. This has arguably been driven, at least in part, by the shifting narrative towards increased institutional presence. A number of large companies, including MicroStrategy and Square, have recently added BTC to their balance sheets as an inflation hedge. At the same time, famous investors such as Paul Tudor Jones have also acquired BTC to their portfolio, similarly citing its qualities as an inflation hedge amidst the current climate of heavy global fiscal and monetary stimulus. **Price analysis** Bitcoin smashed through the $12k level last week and pushed above $13,000 last week, where it has managed to stay ever since. Sunday marked the highest weekly close for the bitcoin price since the beginning of January 2018 and investors are now looking for new highs again. The $14,000 level, which marks the top of last summer’s run, is the obvious next level for bitcoin to test. If $14,000 is flipped to support, we could expect a run towards the all-time high seen December 2017. However, bitcoin has been very strong for a few weeks now, and a pullback to $12,000-$12,500 is also a possibility going into November. **Investors are getting greedy** The Fear and Greed Index has increased again over the past week, and we’re now seeing a positive market sentiment. The Index is currently at 61 after a drop down from the “Extreme Greed” area on Monday. As noted last week, when the sentiment pushes up to “Extreme Greed”, we normally don’t stay in that area for a long period of time. This is always important to keep in mind. However, we spent a full month in the “Extreme Greed” area back in August, and we could be in the very beginning of a new period with even more market exuberance. **Highest daily volume since May** The jump in price has also led to a spike in trading volume. As noted in last week’s report, traders were potentially returning to bitcoin again. This prediction seems to have been proved correct, with the bitcoin volume spiking massively throughout the week. Wednesday saw the highest spot bitcoin volume since May, with over $3.5 billion changing hands. The 7-day average daily real bitcoin volume is now back to the levels seen in August. However, the volume over the past few days has not been very impressive and it will be interesting to see if this is just another short-term spike, or a real trend shift. **Short-term volatility jumps with the bitcoin price** As expected, bitcoin started moving last week. We got the largest daily return since the end of July on Wednesday, with a daily return just above 7%. This led to a spike in the 7-day volatility, which is now around 2.5%. As the price movements slowed down again after Wednesday, the volatility has not continued to climb this week, but more movements are not unlikely. **Bitcoin correlation with S&p** Bitcoin has been heavily correlated with the S&P since March, but this correlation has fallen with bitcoin’s recent move to the upside. This could be important going into the US election, with the likelihood of a turbulent outcome being considerably higher than in previous years.

The story of a man that was buried for a year and was dug out to see that he was not rotten This is not a novie or a scripted play, it happened life. This is one of the most painful event that can happen to a human being, it's painful to see your love ones go just like that because of what we call death.In most places around the country today once a parson dies, the Person's body would be deposited to the mortuary while most people would conduct the funeral services with wasting any time. In most traditions, once a person dies, the body would be burnt (set ablaze) then the ashes would be taken, but in most countries like Nigeria who would put their dead ones under the soil. Recently a video was posted online on the social media, according to the video a man from the Igbo tribe was buried last year, and was exhumed out this year only to see that the dead man was still looking the way he was looking the day he was buried, the dead body didn't rotten, not even smelling. According to a voice in the background the man was buried in a land that was not his, so that was the reason he was dig out, after a dispute that was settled in a court house. According to the video the daughter of the dead man was called to confirm if she would recognise the dead body, she did recognised the body to be the father Video link- https://www.facebook.com/OkennaOkechukwu1/videos/386713179379976/?app=fbl Thanks for reading, please like and share and don't forget to follow me up for more articles like this. Bitcoincash (BCH) needs more awareness in Nigeria. In the past few weeks, it hasn't been easy for Nigerians who recide in the country and diaspora as the youths decided to speak out against police brutality and demand an end to bad governance through a well organized and peaceful Protests. As a Nigerian, I must tell you, I haven't seen such an awesome unity among my people since I was born. Nigeria is a country in West Africa made up of different ethnic groups, numerous languages and Religions. This has always made it difficult for unity to prevail Which gives the bad leaders in government opportunity to violate the rights of citizens and go Scot free. But the story took a different turn this year as majority of youths decided to keep their differences aside and storm the street with one voice under the hashtag #EndSars. The major aim of the Protests was to speak against the the inhumane acts of the Special anti-robbery Squad of the Nigerian police force on the average Nigerian youth. Members of this arm of the police force violate the rights of the youths by intruding into their privacies, they search their phones, laptop and other gadgets, they make arrests unnecessarily and extort individuals of their hard earned money. When arguments ensure, they waste no time in lodging bullets into their victims and throwing their dead bodies into the rivers and lakes. This has continued for years, in the next paragraph, I will tell you why they are doing these. Sars officers do all of those things under the guise of fighting against internet fraud. They believe that every single youth in a country such as Nigeria where there are limited job opportunities, without a white collar job shouldn't live an expensive Life. They believe that, if you don't have an office but you are leaving just fine then you must be in one way or the other connected to internet fraud. See what they forget or probably don't know about in the next paragraph. They forget that youths of these days have decided to use what they have to gain what they want. They probably don't know that there is something called forex trading. Nigerian youths have greatly adopted forex trading and investment. They are making it big from crypto currency thereby introducing more youths into it. There are many exchange and trading platforms currently operating locally in Nigeria. Check out the inscription on the placard contained in the picture below, it is one of the pictures from the protest. It says "Bitcoin investors no be Yahoo" You are most likely not to understand that statement as a Non-Nigerian due to the heavy pidgin English it contained. Pidgin English is mostly spoken in African countries like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa etc but it originated from Nigeria. So, that inscription simply means "Bitcoin investors are not Internet fraudsters". Internet fraudsters are mostly referred to as 'Yahoo boys' in Nigeria. There are Many placards with this same inscription held by the protesters all over the country during the Protests. Immediately I saw this placard, I quickly look through the pictures I have to see if I can find the one with other cryptocurrencies but no! I didn't. Not even my beloved **Bitcoincash (BCH).** yes, Bitcoincash has been my beloved since I joined read.cash. All I saw was **BTC**. That tells a lot how Nigerians have taken great interest in Bitcoin. *Now I'm asking These questions; what could be the problem? Why only Bitcoin? Are other cryptocurrencies not lucrative enough to invest in? What of Bitcoincash?* See my thoughts in the next paragraph. **My Thought:** I think that bitcoincash (BCH) need more awareness in Nigeria, a country of over 200 million people and purpose driven youths that have adopted forex trading as a means of survival in the midst of unemployment. Below is a screenshot of a tweet by Jack, the Twitter CEO endorsing the option of donating through Bitcoin (BTC) towards the #EndSars Protests. Guess what, Nigerian youths adopted it and it witnessed a great success. I wished it was bitcoincash (BCH). I couldn't even donate because I only had BCH. Most of the exchange platforms in Nigeria currently do not accept BCH and it's not encouraging at all. Let me tell you the outcome of the Protests. Federal Government of Nigeria in response to the demands of the protesters disbanded SARS and promised compensation for victims of Police brutality. They also promised a total reform of the Police. So sad, that hoodlums hijacked the Protests, destroyed properties, looted and killed innocent citizens. Due to this a ban has been placed on the Protests and everything is gradually going back to normal. This means that more Nigerian youths are going to invest in crypto without the fear of being harrased by the police. Don't you think it is the right time to let them Know about Bitcoincash (BCH)? **My Suggestion:** I don't have much knowledge in crypto and forex trading but I know these; if you want to have the attention of Nigerian youths, it is definitely through social media. Especially, Twitter and Facebook. Big investors of Bitcoincash can use this platforms to promote BCH in Nigeria. Locate the exchange and trading platforms operating in Nigeria, let them adopt BCH and watch Nigerian youths invest in BCH massively. The good news is that, it's not only the youths that are currently interested in crypto. Nigerian business men are too!

The top 5% copywriters write less and do this more What if I told you that one of the GREAT secrets to making more money… and I mean way more money… as a copywriter is…  **SPEND LESS TIME WRITING** I better clarify a few things before I get flogged for writing heresy!  I’m not suggesting that you give up writing.  In fact, I’m a HUGE advocate of writing every single day.  When you write each day, your skills improve, your confidence goes up, and, best of all, when you do it write, following my Daily Compelling Content system, your daily writing can attract dozens of high-quality clients.  So, writing everyday is really, really, really… and REALLY important!  The other thing to clarify is what I mean by “way more money”...  In November 2012, I landed a retainer contract for $5,000 a month.  My job was to write a sales letter each month, plus 10 emails, a landing page, an order form, and a thank you page.   That’s all.  I did my very best on that project.  I wrote, rewrote, and rewrote again.  Some of my letters had over 30 revisions and upwards of 12 headline options.  That’s a ton of writing.  With all that writing, can you guess how well the sales letter performed?  *The truth is… it did terrible.*  So bad that the company cancelled my retainer agreement.  I was sooooo confused.  All of my training said that if you wrote and edited and rewrote and tweaked and fixed your copy then it would likely do well and clients would love you.  It turned out that was a lie.  At least it wasn’t true for me.  Since then, I’ve discovered that its not really true for any serious, A-Level writer.  By contrast, not long ago, I landed another retainer agreement. The deliverables were basically the same, but the pay was $15,000 a month plus 5% commission on revenue that my copy produced.  So, I was making 300% more for the same volume of copy.  But, here’s the kicker…  I was spending ⅓ of the time actually writing… and overall, I was writing way less.  Usually a first draft and 1… maybe 3 revisions and done.  ON top of that, my copy was cranking out hundreds of thousands in sales, making me some really nice commissions.  Can you see how cool that is?  ***I was working less hours and making way more.***  I did one little thing that made all the difference. And it had nothing to do with grammar… spelling… letter structure… or any of that kind of thing.  Yes, those things are important. But compared to this ONE THING I changed, everything else was only 20% of the equation.  What was that ONE THING?  Let me tell you a little story and see if you can discover what this magic ingredient is….  When My wife and I first got married, we moved to Pomona, CA.  We both had the same job.  Selling pest control service contracts by going door-to-door.  We worked the same street… she would go down one side of the street and I would go down the other side.  When we got to the end, we would meet up and kiss, like newlyweds will do :)  (We called it “paid vacation”, even if it was only for 5 minutes a few times a day… LOL)  Even though we were on the same street, in the same neighborhood, my wife outsold me by 3 to 1.  She literally would get 3 contracts and I would only get 1.  How did she do it?  She ended up knocking less doors, but sold 3x what I was selling?  At first it baffled me. I couldn’t understand what she did that I wasn’t doing.  Then one day we had this conversation. “Margie, I can’t believe you sell so many contracts. You’re the top rep on the area. How do you do it? It must be just because you’re so insanely beautiful, that’s it, right?”  (I secretly thought her stunning good looks were the real reason. It made me feel better thinking she had an unfair advantage… way better than thinking she was just a better salesperson than me… LOL)  She smiled at me, **“Well, I don’t waste time with people that haven’t seen bugs around their house. And I always find out who has seen bugs before I pitch them.”**  It seemed so simple.  “Don’t waste time with people that haven’t seen bugs” There is a very real application of this idea for us as copywriters. From what I can see after training and teaching thousands of writers, most of them start off metaphorically wasting their time talking to people who haven’t seen any bugs. They do this in how they look for clients. And they do this in their actual writing. The result is that most of them have lackluster results. There is a better way… and all you have to do is change ONE THING. Tomorrow, I’ll tell you what that one thing is and how to easily implement it in your writing routines.  If you do, you’ll likely make more and spend less time writing… then you can have more time doing other fun stuff.

@Preacherman

What do writers need in order to get clients? What do writers need in order to get clients?”  What are the bare-bone essentials… the things that really move the needle?  I know this… you don’t have a lifetime to master copywriting and the business of making money as a writer…. I bet you don’t even have the proverbial 10,000 hours to master it.  If you’re like me, you want to make money from your writing YESTERDAY!  A funny story about that…  In my 2nd year as a writer… after I’d make well over six figures and was doing pretty good, I got a call from one of the top writers and business owners in the business.  He wanted to show that the 10,000 hour rule was true… that you had to devote 10,000 hours to a task to really master it and make a lot of money at it.  “Joshua, how many hours a day did you spend building your writing business?”  “Well, I usually get up at around 5am and then by around 12pm or 1pm, my brain is mushy and I go play with the children for the rest of the day.  Oh, and the first 90 minutes of my morning is me doing prayers, personal devotional stuff, reading and planning.  So, I really don’t get started until around 6:30am. So, that’s what? Around 6 hours a day?  I do that 5 days a week… so around 30 hours a week. And I usually only work about 40 weeks a year.  I guess that means I put in about 1200 hour the first year.”  “That sounds really low. Are you sure?” he asked. “The thing is this, I love working hard. But I also love doing things that work. I just focused all my time on a few activities that really moved the needle. That got me the results I wanted.” In the end, he did not use my interview as an example because it didn’t fit the mold… but he was very encouraging to me and congratulated me on my focus.” I want to help you have the same kind of simple focus.  It can be broken down into three parts:  One - Stuff you do just to live. It is part of your character and who you are.  Two - Foundation activities. Things that you do once, set in place and then forget about.  Three - Production actions. These are things you do over and over again to create the results you want in life. All success has a routine and repetition.  This is sooo super important that I really don’t think you should try getting clients without doing this.  But first I need to tell you a story.  The world has changed.  We must change with it or be left behind.  The other day I needed to jump on a video call with a group of people. (I won’t tell you who or why… it wouldn’t be proper… LOL)  I sent out a link to a Google Meet room that only requires you to click the link and join the video call.  15 of the 16 people joining the call jumped right on.  And one person didn’t.  She kept saying over and over again, “I’m just not very good at technology. Let me see if my husband can help. You know I can’t figure out these fancy new phones.”  Again and again… for almost 45 minutes.  We were patient and it turned out fine in the end, but I couldn’t help think.  Once upon a time, she had used a telephone, current with the times.  And then the world changed all around her.  And she woke up one day in a new world, isolated from the rest of humanity. She failed to move forward, failed to adapt, failed to learn new skills.  Now, unless she changes, she will forever be at the mercy of other people and making excuses like, “You know I’m not good at all this new fancy technology.”  We will love her and understand, but we will also do things and connect and live in ways that she will never enjoy and can’t imagine.  It is time for you to learn, grow, change and advance.

@Preacherman

Response Determines the Future In this battle for the young, the battle is between God and satan. But the battle is over your life. You are the one who determines who takes the victory as a young person. That is why the Bible says you have to overcome the wicked one. You are the primary character in this epic battle for the prime period of your youth. You have the choice to say ‘NO’ to the devil to sin and to the things that satan displays around you, and to say a big ‘YES’ to Jesus. That is what determines your future. Perhaps, the battle has been so strong in your life that you decide to say yes to Jesus one moment but in the next moment, you change your mind and you are as unpredictable as the wind. You need to determine that such instability must stop right away, before the enemy of your soul gets an upper hand over your life. The unfortunate thing about the battle for young is that the devil does not allow youth to look ahead. He blinds your eyes as a young man to think that life ends at the time of youth. Therefore when you should have taken a decision with the future in mind, you are deceived into concentrating on the present. This is the critical moment for you as a young person. If you get it right at this time of your youth, then it will be well with you in the years ahead. You will have no cause to regret or bite your fingers. I wish you have elders around you who will sincerely volunteer to tell you the stories of the wrong choices they made many years ago and how they are still suffering the consequences of those choices. As I said earlier on, your life is a fresh ground ahead of you that is not yet spoilt but I must tell you this, it is being fiercely contested. Between Jesus and the devil, whom do you choose? Whom do yo9u want to follow? The friends that you have today will not always be with you all your years. You will suddenly discover that the friend who leads you into trouble will desert you as soon as you sink into that trouble. He may have escaped and gone his own way. He may return to be part of the team that will ridicule you and tell the world about you, exposing your sad predicament. Even though the Almighty God is beckoning to you, waiting with His mighty power to save, to forgive you and to reset your direction, He will not do anything until you say a definite YES to Him and a big NO to satan. This is how to lay the foundation of your life and win the battle now that you are young. **Enough is enough, take a stand!** Perhaps you have even started to make mistakes. There is something you need to know as a matter of great importance… The mistakes that you have made do not constitute the real problem, the problem will be to continue in them. The years you have spent out of your life presently are very few compared with those that lie ahead of you. You still have years enough to build the right future. Is it reasonable to go on and destroy five million because of the five hundred that have been spoilt? NO! it does not make any sense to sit and weep over spilt milk, or an egg that has been broken. Whatever has been done till now, I wish you will say as I said many years ago, the time I have spent for the old man (the flesh), is enough. I will now live for Jesus forever. Bygone is bygone. Old man, it is bygone forever. Watch out for part 2…
