This is a rotating hardware storage unit, made with wood scraps and left over baby food jars. I believe it was made in the '60's or 70's. Real "old school cool". I have two, but are selling them on eBay, since I don't have a spot for them.
This centerpiece, composed of flowers from the garden, was the hit of the after-dinner party! I can only hope that your garden produces an abundance of flowers like this - so early in the season- and you enjoy them all throughout the summer and fall! I hopw this brings some joy to your day.
We are refurbishing the Elevators in my building. Today I made a box for the surveys, so the residents can let us know if they need assistance while the elevator is being refitted. Since i am a carpenter, a wood box seemed more appropriate than a cardboard one!
This can cut down on Deer deaths in our area too. It seems deer and most wildlife see blue more distinctively than other colors. Independence Day is the 4th of July in the United States, and my Monkey is getting ready to unfurl the flag! I suspect he will be having a "freedom poker tournament" and light a large quantity of fireworks. It should be fun!
