I REALLY thought that I had made a decision as of last week regarding the ongoing saga at work. But it appears that decision is STILL not yet final. So onward it goes, with links provided in the article to all of the other previous articles on the topic. I did not know this would become a series. But a series it has become for whatever that is worth. Oh well, it is what it is. Ugh. Rough situation. On my last contract I felt like I had one foot out the door the entire time. It really did hamper my ability to do the job well. "I tend to view a job as a mutual agreement between two people who need something from each other that is appreciated on equal terms." Yes! Employment is a contract between an employee and an employer, either of which may decide at some future point to break the contract. I don't understand the mentality some folks have that their employer somehow "owes" them a job.
Right. Exactly. An employer does not owe me a job, and I do not owe anyone my services. It is a tough decision and I still have no idea what that decision will be come Monday. Based on Friday, the decision may already have been made FOR me. We shall see. 😂
