You never know how much you take electricity for granted until the power goes out, like it did during a storm last night. Luckily when we woke up this morning, the power had come back on sometime while we slept.

Ha! That's nothing. The power usually goes out here at least once a day. It usually also comes back within 10 minutes or so, but sometimes it's out for hours.
Hmm. I wonder why that is? That would drive me nuts. I mean, I guess if it is an everyday occurrence one gets used to it. Still...
It's life in rural Philippines. What really sucks is when BOTH the water and the electricity go out at the same time.
Water going out is something I do not think I have ever experienced, except when I have forgotten to pay the bill. lol

This is very true, especially when we have no electricity for the whole day yesterday.
Looks like ours was out for only a few hours, but it was still annoying.
