Investing successfully in the stock market does not depend on relying on how well the market overall does. But what the individual companies you are invested in do. Even in the worst market conditions, many companies come out way ahead because their ultimate valuations are not defined by the market itself, but by how well it operates and generates revenues and profits. You don't invest in stocks. You invest in businesses.

Noted Porwest. During this lockdown, we should learn the businesses who are still doing well inspite of world events, buy their stocks long term. I'm a part stockholder already, small but consistent hehe.
Agreed, it's important to have the knowledge about the business itself where our money goes as we invest. Invest carefully and wisely.
