As most of you who follow me are well aware, I am always looking for music and musicians that fall under the radar. Sometimes you land on a song that kind of surprises you. "Why is this one not on the radio?" Because this song seems like it certainly could be on the radio. But it's not. And the artist is not even a major recording artist. In fact, this particular artist, Sanjay C, is more known on YouTube for his videos offering recording tutorials, and he is quite good at that too. It is not that he is completely under the radar. His YouTube video for this song has gotten over 43,000 views, and on Spotify this song has gotten around 14,000 spins. But being what the song is, you'd think it would be more. It is not exactly my favored music. But being a musician of sorts myself, I appreciate good work when I hear it, and this one definitely could be considered "good work." The older I get, everyday I get to wake up and enjoy a new day is a celebration. I have seen a lot of my friends wake up and croak. lol
God is keeping you quite good. You are a blessing if so, now you'd just have to make new friends because the ones you grew with are partly whipped out already.
I always wondered, what it felt like ageing, like would I still get to do things I used to do while I was younger, but definitely I know a sense of maturity would surely come in to play its own role but I just wonder. The fear of ageing or rather irony of ageing.

Since when does “good work” musically correspond to popular with lots of airtime on the radio?
This is actually an observation I have made many times. I often wonder, when it comes to certain artists who always seem to "hit the mark," is it because their music is truly good? Or just because we happen to be so familiar with the artist that our perception that their music is good? In other words, does an artist like Taylor Swift actually write a string of hits, or are her songs a string of hits just because it is Taylor Swift?
Ever wonder why rock bands are so appreciative of their manager? In popular music, promotion and salesmanship are probably as important as the music itself.
It reminds me of something once said of Kiss, and I forget who said it. But they basically said, Kiss never really made great music. They just had really good marketing. I think that could apply to a lot of music out there.
Consider how Peter Grant helped propel Led Zeppelin into superstardom. I wonder how many other groups with a unique singer like Plant never got the spotlight because they weren't promoted aggressively.
