I have been talking read.cash up lately. Perhaps it is that I still see something of value there. Besides, I like to write and read offers me a place to do that that is both fun and interactive. And let's face it, there's a lot of interesting people still active there. I hope I am one of them, but I will leave that to others to decide one way or another. At the same time, I was a bit shocked to find someone who has published several plagiarized articles. Some from as long as 5 months ago. So, the question becomes...where is the admin? I mean, Rusty is still activated and tipping, although not like he used to. So, there must still be some funding and I would think there would still be someone or several admin behind the scenes still maintaining and patrolling the site. Or is there? Because plagiarism would have been caught immediately not so long ago and the plagiarizer immediately banned from the site. Yet, Nabzzzz published this article—https://read.cash/@Nabzzzz/in-bankrupt-lebanon-locals-mine-bitcoin-and-buy-groceries-with-tether-as-1-is-now-worth-15-cents-0b73e38a —just today and is still doing it. I did report him. But it worries me that this has gone unnoticed and makes me wonder if read is just up for the time being, but its days might otherwise be numbered. It is more than a bit concerning to me.

I suspect that all efforts are now directed towards noise.app.
Many people have switched to ecency because they can probably earn more there.
Hmm. Never heard of ecency. Might have to check that out. Who knows how much time read has in any event?
That was called esteem in the past
The Random Rewarder has given their final tip https://read.cash/@TheRandomRewarder/my-last-tip-803e2773
Was his article the cause?
It is explained at the link I left.
I know, but I think Simon has been thinking about this for a long time, and I suspect that Porwest's article https://read.cash/@Porwest/do-we-need-rusty-b6b8d47a and our discussion has persuaded him to stop the rewarder.
I hope not. It was not the intent of the article. The intent was more to encourage the users to participate more. At the same time, I think this plan was laid out long before I wrote the article.
I also suspect that Simon has been planning it for a long time, but maybe he read your article and that's what finally made him do it now. By the way, I like your new song. It's really good.
I am not even sure if Simon knows I exist. lol. Hey, glad you found the song and very glad you liked it. Thank you.
...and he was forevermore known as The Man Who Killed Read.cash lol
Sad that it came to this. But when I read the article the reason behind is well understood. It will be interesting to see if read has any future. But of course, it depends on us as I think it always has.
