Budget Saver's Fare in the Seychelles.... so here's the thing with bus fare here in Mahe island itself...( as per Praslin and La Digue and other outer island bus is not applicable as they use another mode of transport) back in 2016 bus fare was around 5 scr per trip regardless of the kilometers and your options would be paying it as you're onboard or you could purchase a card wherein like in Doha, you can simply swipe it and boom you are assured of your seat. peak hours perhaps you could see people standing but very rarely it happened... This bus card is a reminder that in this country, bus fare which is now cost 7 scr for regular citizen but FREE for seniors while students have bus pass with which if they don't have it, they're suppose to pay 2 SCR still fair enough right? What's my point here.... INFLATION reached at 3-4% 4 years back and somehow it affected the bus fare but compared to my country...still the fare is way cheaper enough because it's less than a dollar/euro/pound. Should you come for a staycation in the country, the most practical way to roam around the island is to take the bus and never a taxi because it's way too expensive especially if you're staying somewhere in the southern or northern part. So be wise enough..
